Chapter 5 The Rain Down
This afternoon according to his promise, sister Ega came home early and took me for a walk. We decided to go to a Mall that was not too far from the Hospital where Mr. Ega worked. Arriving at the Mall we decided to find food because we had not had time to eat at home earlier.
"What do you want to eat?" Ask Brother Ega.
"As for my brother, what am I doing."
Without arguing I followed brother Ega who entered the fast food restaurant. I never doubted about choosing food, because our taste is always the same and whatever we choose Ega always fits our tongue . I was in charge of choosing a seat when Brother Ega ordered my food and choices at the end table and in the corner of the restaurant. I waved my hand when I saw Brother Ega seem to be confused looking for my whereabouts.
"Why do you like it in the gini corner?" Brother Ega pulled out a chair and sat down while continuing to grumble.
"Look, so I can focus on eating" I replied with a mocking smile towards Brother Ega.
A few minutes later a waiter came to take our orders, the waiter put them one by one on the table. I smiled amusedly when I saw the maid was trying to steal a glance at Brother Ega without her knowledge. I cleared my throat which made the waiter a little surprised and turned towards me then left our table with his sour face. The face of sister Ega is quite handsome, her eyes are narrow like me but with double eyelids, tan skin mature, nose pointed, eyebrows thick black, black, her lips are thin and brightly colored because Ega does not smoke, and thin whiskers that make Ega legs look more masculine as well as 180 cm high make Ega legs look perfect.
For me this kind of thing is nothing new, every time I go out with my sister, there are so many girls who try to attract my sister's attention, or look at me with envious eyes. Maybe because they think that I am Ega's lover.
"Where else is this going?" Ask Brother Ega after finishing his meal.
"Watch what, will you?" Many doubt.
"Can. I haven't watched it in a long time either."
After we finished eating we headed to the cinema. Along the way I found some women who looked at Brother Ega as if brother Ega was a useless sweet food if missed, because it was uncomfortable to see it, because it was difficult, I lined up Ega's footsteps and then I purposely hooked my arm to Ega's. Brother Ega turned to me with a questionable gaze and I immediately pulled Brother Ega to walk faster before he protested with my unusual attitude. Arriving at the cinema we shared the task, I queued up to buy tickets while sister Ega bought popcorn and drinks. After I finished buying the ticket I sat in a chair provided by the cinema which was not too far from where I bought the ticket.
" How long does it take?" Ask sister Ega while thrusting a bucket of large-sized popcorn and two bottles of mineral water.
" in 20 minutes. How do you buy mineral water? My protest this time disagreed with Brother Ega.
" So you've been drinking soda so now just plain water, let's be healthy." The impression while looking at the clock in the wind.
When Ega's brother was about to sit down suddenly his phone berbunti, my feelings began to be uncomfortable and it's true a few minutes later with a face full of regret Ega's brother approached me.
" S." De." Her speech was lethargic.
" No papa, I'm gone, I can see for myself!"
Without being told I understand for sure the hospital who called Mr. Ega to perform emergency surgery. And in a situation like this I can't be selfish, even if it's a little hard I have to let Ega's sister go to the hospital to save someone else's life.
" I'm sorry, sister!" He said as he stroked my hair full of regret.
" If so you go home, you can still maghrib, watch it next time you have a holiday." Imbuhya again.
"No, my dear ticket, I watched it myself. Really not papa, brother. Mending brother hunted go to the hospital, the patient brother was waiting!"
Although a little doubt finally sister Ega assented my desire to keep watching even though alone. I pushed slowly to leave, and with half a run, Ega left me and raised his hand to the ear hinting that I should let him know when I got home. I smiled while nodding until finally the back of Ega's brother was no longer seen. I sat back down, opened the bag and pulled out my phone, played it for a while and put it back in the bag. I sat down and looked down at the two tickets in hand, had wanted to call Arum but the house would soon start the movie, which Arum had until here the movie was finished.
"Well, I'll go home, but I love the ticket.." My mummy in my heart.
" S." Ze." The name just came out of my mouth which I later regretted and immediately closed my mouth.
" Are you okay?" Ask later.
" Aaa, mmm, yes of course, I'm fine, why not?" My answer sounded a little strange.
" What is Zean doing here?" I started to calm down a little.
" Sister Zean. Hmmm, wasn't that Ze?" Said Zean while smiling smrik.
" When? Maybe you heard it wrong!" My rebut.
" Maybe." Shrugging shoulders.
" You're alone?" Brother Zean stepped past me and sat down on the chair I was sitting on earlier.
" Yes." Yeah." Sit next to him.
" With two tickets, seriously?" After seeing the two tickets in my hand.
" Yes." Yeah." I answered while nodding weakly.
" Why was that sad, you were abandoned by someone, your boyfriend?" He began to wonder.
" Not a girlfriend, but a sister. He went for a sudden operation." I answered half-screaming, then looked down in embarrassment.
" Can I do it for me.? I mean this ticket, baby if it has to be thrown away, besides I'm free today, it's quite a ticket to watch free." Brother Zean took one of the tickets out of my hand.
What is this, why ask if the ticket is in your hands, you weirdo. Shortly thereafter, we heard a notice that the film we were about to watch was turned around and the studio door was open.
" Why not!" I answered and stood with popcorn and two bottles of mineral water, then walked away from Zean who was still sitting.
" That means you can, thanks!" Come to my feet, walk my steps and take popcorn from my arms.
" Let me help, it looks like you're having a hard time" he added.
Then he walked past me who was still standing, I looked at Zean's lower back which began to look far away and after that I walked quickly to chase Zean's foot. After entering I sat down next to Brother Zean and gave a bottle of mineral water that I had brought. He accepted it with a smile and placed it next to a chair that was designed to put a bottle of drink. Before long the movie started and I still can't believe the person next to me is the one who's been bothering me for a few nights. Damn I didn't focus on watching the end. I tried to shift the nervousness by grabbing the popcorn and eating it slowly.why even so thirsty, then I took another bottle of mineral water and tried to open it. Oh my God what else is this, my hands are sweating and it makes it difficult for me to unscrew the bottle. Unexpectedly it turned out that Brother Zean was watching her, he took the bottle from my hand then unscrewed the bottle and handed it to me with a smile.
" Thank you." I said softly.
I cursed my stupidity in my heart. Just opening a bottle of drinking water I can't, isn't that really embarrassing. What would Zean think? She couldn't possibly think I was teasing her, right.? No, of course not, I'm just a little girl where maybe I'm trying to tease a guy. A little girl, I finally confessed that I was just a little girl in front of Zean.
I dissolved in my own thoughts until the movie was finished. The lights came back on and one by one the visitors started to come out, I stood up and walked towards the exit which was then followed by Brother Zean behind me. I walked up to the escalator to go down to the lobby and look for a taxi or other vehicle that would take me home without realizing that Zean was still following me. Arriving in the lobby, I was surprised by what I saw. Rained out. Oh no why the rain suddenly fell tonight, but the prediction of BMKG will not rain until the next few months. God is All-Everything, all that is impossible will be possible if God has willed.
