Chapter 4 Love at first sight

Today my body feels very tired, even though I only go tutoring instead of fighting. I lay in bed to relieve fatigue. I changed my position when I felt something was pulling at the end of my skirt.

"What's up, Cleo, am I tired?" I glanced at my pet dog. His name is Cleo, a Toy Poodle breed dog, small in size and very cute, Cleo is very agile and also smart. I've been looking after her for almost the last year, at first I didn't really like pets, but since my father's departure my life has felt so lonely and true after I had a pet my sepulchre was slightly treated with Cleo, Cleo, although he did not understand all the stories of sadness that I always shared with him, but at least there is a place to share the story even if only a dog.

Cleo's still tugging at me. Finally, I took my foot to follow him to the window, I lazily opened the window and stepped onto the balcony of my room. The dog looks excited running towards the balcony. Hmmmm the sky is beautiful, the stars are twinkling. Thousands of fireflies blazing a flicker of light add to the romance tonight. As the wind brushed my straight hair in the cold that began to pierce my skin, I immediately went into the room and closed the window.

Argh, why am I so shivering like this, I folded my hands in the chest hoping to get rid of this coldness. But it seemed like my efforts were in vain, I finally decided to go down to the kitchen to find something that could warm my body.

Arriving in the kitchen I opened the storage cabinet and decided to brew instant chocolate. I sat on the dining table chair sipping the hot chocolate slowly and occasionally blowing it. The warmth started to feel in my body but it didn't seem to be with my heart. I'm lonely, no one's home. My house assistant has been home since this afternoon, while my mother and sister Ega still have not come home even though it is this late. Tests, tests, without me noticing the clear details flowing from my eye.

"Argh what is this, maybe because the chocolate is too hot I'm so crying like this." I said with a laugh while my hands were busy stemming the tears that still did not seem to want to stop dripping.

Finally with a shunt step I went back to the room leaving behind a hot chocolate that I still hadn't drunk everything. Arriving in the room I again broke down and suddenly my memory returned to the incident a few days ago when I fell from the angkot. My heart rhythm sounded irregular as I recalled the beginning of my meeting with Brother Zean, my cheeks were hot as I recalled Zean's beautiful smile. Ah those blue eyes looked so calm and washed away. What is this, why am I thinking about him? why is my heart beating so irregularly like this, why am I so happy just by remembering her smile? What kind of strange feeling is this, is this what is called the feeling of love? Am I in love? At this age? If this is true, is this what is called love at first sight?

I laughed in my heart and tried to deny every word I said about falling in love. How could this possibly happen? And what about Brother Zean, about how he first saw me. I scowled sadly for being so sure Brother Zean would only consider me a little girl who was a little sane and very careless.

How not, when he first met, he saw me fall out of the sky and in the second meeting he saw my super mess. God, I hope if there is still a meeting next meet us in normal and good condition. And I don't know how long I argued with myself, until night came and I fell asleep in a dream.

EGA POV

It was late at night when I got home. I opened the main door and observed the surroundings of the house that looked very quiet. I walked into the kitchen looking for something that would quench my thirst. My eyes were turned to an object on the dining table.

"Warm chocolate, isn't Indhi sleeping yet, but why isn't she spending her drink?." I murmured in my heart.

Then I opened the fridge and took out a bottle of mineral water and then downed it half-out. I got out of the kitchen and went up to my room to clean my body that felt so sticky. After taking a shower I knocked on Indhi's room several times but found no answer from the owner, probably because she was asleep.

I opened the door to her room slowly, which was never locked. I stepped carefully near Indhi's bed and found her tiny body sleeping curled up without a blanket. When I was about to put on the blanket accidentally I saw the sadness on the little face of my little sister, clearly visible traces of tears at the end of her eyes that are now closed.

"Thank you for growing up well every day. And sorry for today, you must be sad and crying yourself today." I covered the blanket on his body and gently rubbed the tip of his head.

I walked to the sofa across from Indhi's bed and laid my body on it. I pulled out my phone and checked my work schedule. I took a rough breath when I found my schedule full of operations until the end of this month, sad to not be able to accompany my little girl when she was on vacation like now. I put my phone on a small table next to the sofa, my arm used to close my eyes that had felt so heavy, and finally I fell asleep on the sofa of my little sister's room.

INDHI POV

I didn't get in the bathroom yet I felt my feet humming something and I fell for it. I sat up and rubbed my painful knee. When I turned around I was surprised to see a foot lying on the carpet on the floor of my room. My eyes widened, when I thought my life had completely returned I immediately shouted, I was shocked when the owner of the legs woke up and instead joined in screaming, we were the same scream and my room was filled with screaming sounds this morning.

"Yesaaaaakkkkk!"I yelled again after realizing that what I was holding was my brother's leg. "Why sleep on the floor anyway.? Saying while breathing .

"Sister on the floor anyway?" Sister Ega asked while showing a confused face, probably because her life had not been fully collected.

"Why did you ask back? Indhi how do you know why you sleep on the floor, did you sleep here all night?"

"Hemm." nodded still with his sleepy face.

"What time was he home last night?"I stood up and walked towards the sofa and let go of my body.

"Hour 11 more." Brother Ega stood up and walked towards me and sat down.

"If mother?" Ask again.

"Mother didn't come home, there was work out of town yesterday, didn't you?"

"No." Sad answer.

"Maybe you forgot because you were too busy. Don't be sad, today my brother is not too busy, later in the afternoon we walk after my sister comes home from work!" He said as he stroked my head and as it had been for a second then changed with a random shuffling motion of my hair then ran out of the room .

"Kakaaaaakkkkkk." I screamed and ran to follow Brother Ega out of the room.
