Chapter 31 A pair of necklaces and bracelets

I went into my room after helping Brother Ega clean up our tableware. I opened one by one the gifts I received today. First I opened the gift of sister Ega. A necklace with a moon and star pendant, I opened a greeting card tucked inside the box.

"It's actually a pair with bracelets but someone has snatched it from big brother, I hope you like it."

I smiled reading Ega's greeting card. I then opened the gift from Brother Zean, I was surprised to see the contents, a bracelet with a shape that is almost similar to the necklace given by Brother Ega.

" It's actually a pair with a necklace but I can only buy her bracelet, because the necklace is already sold first, it will be beautiful in your hands, happy birthday and I'm sorry".

I laughed after reading Zean's greeting cards, how could they write almost the same words, they were absolutely right.

I immediately put on both of them, I stood up and looked at them in the mirror, they looked very pretty attached to my neck and hands. I'm so happy today, the two people I love move the moon and stars around my neck and hands.

I knocked on Ega's room and he let me in. This afternoon we're going to my mom's house to pick up my pet dog that's been with me for a month. At home, sister Ega entrusted Cleo to our housekeeper.

" Are you ready?" Ask Brother Ega after seeing me go into his room.

" The necklace is pretty on your neck." Praise brother Ega.

Time passed, sister Ega has parked her car in front of the mother's house. I hesitated to enter the mother's house, what should I say if I meet with mother, is it better for me to be here just let sister Ega come in and take Cleo.

We went in and looked around but found no one in the house, and I and Brother Ega went upstairs to get Cleo. As we climbed the stairs we suddenly heard the sound of the door opening, we turned our heads and saw the mother coming out of her room.

" Did you remember coming home?" Mother's question sounds very cold.

I climbed a flight of stairs and hid behind Ega's sister, she didn't look at us at all as she walked past us and into the kitchen.

" We'll just take Cleo." Sister Ega's answer sounded equally cold.

Brother Ega led me up the stairs, I breathed a sigh of relief when I arrived in front of my room. I went into the room and was immediately greeted by Cleo. I carried the little dog and took him to sit on my bed.

" I miss you so much Cleo, sorry I left you alone."

I stroked Cleo who looked comfortable on my lap. Maybe he misses me too. I looked around, my room looked clean and tidy, Cleo also looked well maintained. Brother Ega left Cleo in the right hands, I thought.

" We go ma'am, take care of mom's health. We'll be home when you're not selfish anymore." Said sister Ega then out of the mother's house.

We went to the restaurant for dinner before returning home. Today Mr. Ega really accompanied me all day, there were no emergency calls from the hospital so we could get through my birthday together. Actually I felt sad when mom didn't say happy birthday to me last night, I still hoped mom would send a message to me, but until the night passed, until I was no longer awake I did not get the message I expected. Maybe you forgot, or maybe I'm not important anymore in your life. Last year I passed my birthday without a father and this year at the age of 15 I had to go through it without a mother. I finally went through this day with a happy and sad feeling that enveloped him.

ZEAN POV

Today is Indhi's birthday, I have prepared a gift from a few days ago but I still do not know how to give this gift.

I purposely went to the house of Dawn, hoping that she would be there and celebrating her birthday with Fajr's bangs.

I'm disappointed I didn't find him at Dawn's. I was excited when Arum asked me and Dawn to go to Indhi's house and surprise her. But again I was disappointed that he was not at home. While at Indhi house I just kept quiet, my feelings were not good, I was anxious to see the closeness of Indhi and Dion, not to mention the attitude of sister Ega who seemed unhappy with my existence.

I gave her a gift, she refused but I forced her.I was sad that not seeing her smile at me, she was so indifferent to me too. Why am I like this, am I not the one who pushed him away from me, so this is the consequence I must feel.

I decided not to go home with Dawn and stopped by Dion's house first. I want to make sure how close Dion and Indhi are. I knocked on Dion's door, he was surprised to see me in front of his house.
