87. Nathan's work

This month was even a year Nathan worked in a private company owned by his father's business partner. The owner of the company named Marco does not know at all if one of his employees is the son of his business partner.

Marco was happy to see Nathan's deft performance. As assistant manager, Nathan is considered capable of representing the manager at a crucial time. Nathan often appears to represent his superiors to present superior products owned by the company.

Every time Nathan is done presenting the excellence and vision of the company's mission, investors are happy to join the company. That makes Marko happy. Marco therefore intends to appoint Nathan as a new marketing manager to replace Haris.

Without Marco realizing it, his intention was to cause a rift between Nathan and Haris.

Haris who initially looked calm also began to fidget. He is worried that his position as manager is replaced by Nathan whose age and experience are still far below Haris.

Haris also began trying various ways to bring Nathan down in front of Marco. And that pissed Nathan off. Moreover, the effort was made blatantly to make Nathan's respect for Haris slowly fade.

One day Marco arrived a guest who wanted to cooperate with his company. Unfortunately the guest was a little disrespectful for submitting unreasonable conditions.

Apparently the guest named Damir wanted Marco's daughter in return for some money he would invest in Marco's company. Marco refused, of course. Moreover, the guest is quite old and more worthy of being the grandfather of his daughter named Mia.

Nathan and Haris who were present at the meeting seemed to be trying to contain anger. If you do not see the presence of Marco as the boss and owner of the company, it seems that they have been throwing punches at Dashir.

"I'm sorry if I'm not interested in your offer. Even if your offer is tempting, I've never wanted to trade My Son's self-esteem for your money !" marco said firmly.

"Do you not want to think first. There are many entrepreneurs out there who offer their Daughter for me to marry, but I refuse. But specifically for Mr. Marco it was I who asked to be made a son-in-law," said Dashir arrogantly.

Marco shook his head and stood up.

"I said no, yes no !. You better get out now !" marco said loudly while gesturing for Nathan and Haris to drive the perverted man away.

Nathan and Haris quickly got up and dragged Dasir out of the room. The man got angry and scolded Nathan and Haris. He also threatened to make the calculations.

"You'll see what I'll do later. And you, arrogant young man. Who do you think you dare to interfere in My affairs !" dasir said loudly while looking at Nathan angrily.

"Whatever you want to say, I'm just running errands. You better get out of here. Don't dream of marrying Mr. Marco's daughter. Should people your age have not thought about shahw*t but the same focus of worship. Are you not afraid that God will call you at any time but you are still busy with the world but forget Atherat ?!" nathan said annoyed.

Nathan's words surprised everyone. Some laughed at seeing the surprised expression on Dashir's face. Others clapped their hands while cheering Dashir.

Furious, he leaves Marco's company accompanied by the annoyed gaze of Nathan, Haris and all Marco's company employees.

Two days after Dashir's arrival, Marco received bad news. Her daughter, Mia, is missing. Not because he left home but because he was kidnapped. And Marco suspects that Damir is the mastermind of the kidnapping of his daughter.

Marco is moving fast. Not only did he contact the police but he also deployed some of his employees to search for Mia. Marco was worried that nafs*t Dashir was making his daughter wretched.

Among the few employees who got direct orders from Marco to look for Mia were Nathan and Haris. Inevitably the two must put aside their personal problems and work together to find Mia.

It didn't take long for the police to find Mia. At that time Mia was found in a daze and tied up in a warehouse.

That afternoon Nathan just got out of the office on a motorcycle. Because the highway is very crowded in the afternoon, Nathan also took the initiative to find another way, namely the road behind the company which is a small alley. The road will end on the main road. From there, it only takes ten minutes to get home. Nathan used to cross that road when he came home from work.

As Nathan was passing quietly down the street he saw a girl being forced into a car. The condition of the road that is always quiet makes the perpetrators freely do the action.

Nathan stopped his bike and rushed to help as the woman screamed for help.

Unbalanced fights also occurred. Nathan must face four men at once. But it did not take long Nathan managed to beat the four people. They fled after the girl they were about to kidnap said she had contacted police.

"Gue ain't messing around !. You heard the police siren ?!" ask the girl out loud.

The four men panicked when they heard police car sirens in the distance. They rushed into the car and left the place.

"Alhamdulillah, go also finally. You Gapapa, is there a wound ?" ask Nathan.

"Just a scuff. Thank you for nolongin me. Know I Mia, the son of the owner of PT MM," said the girl as she reached out her hand.

"So you're Mia Mr. Marco's son ?!" ask Nathan.

Apparently, Nathan had never met Mia in person. That's because Mia rarely comes to her father's company even though Marco often asks her to come to help.

"Yes, You ...," Mia's speech is interrupted because Nathan cuts fast.

"I'm Nathan, one of Mr. Marco's employees," Nathan said, making Mia smile.

Then Nathan volunteered to drive Mia. Mia gladly accepted the offer.

"Why are you through here, Mia ?. You know it's quiet here and far from the main road. Danger for your rich girl. Moreover, you will be kidnapped, are you not afraid of being kidnapped again ?" nathan asked as he put his bike forward.

"It's precisely out of fear, I'm through here. I try to avoid the people who are stalking me. I think they don't know if there's a small road here, but it turns out I'm wrong" said Mia with a wry smile.

"Sir Marco said he paid the body guard to keep you. Where is he now?, how can you look when you're in danger ?" nathan didn't understand.

"I ran away from the escort. The body guard that Papa hired was too flashy, standing guard with a friendly and stiff look. It makes me uncomfortable. That's why I ran away. Fortunately, there are you who help, if not for sure I was kidnapped again rich the other day. Thank you Nathan," said Mia sincerely.

"Together, God willing, I will do the same even if that person is not you" Nathan said with a smile.

Upon arriving at Mia's house, Nathan meets Marco who is confused to see their togetherness. Mia immediately tells him what happened and then Marco asks Nathan to escort his daughter wherever she goes. Mia seems happy with her father's decision, while Nathan can only nod because he can't refuse the boss's order.

When knowing Nathan was chosen directly by Marco to escort Mia, of course, made Haris envious. Though all this time Haris always tried to be close to Mia. Haris hopes to marry Mia and become part of Marco's family. That way his position in the company will be safe and impossible to shift.
