21. Shadow In Window

The night passed quietly. Bayan breathed a sigh of relief as everything went as it should. In the early hours of the new day the baby is delivered to the room to be breastfed again by his mother.

This time the baby seemed more enthusiastic than before. He greedily suckled until he made Anna grimace a little.

"Why honey, is it sick ?" ask Bayan.

"Yes," said Anna, biting her lips to endure the pain.

Bayan smiled then sat down next to Anna to support her while breastfeeding their baby. Gently Bayan rubbed his wife's back while observing her baby.

Bayan's words inevitably made Anna smile. As if understanding the father's words, the baby slowly reduced the intensity of breastfeeding until Anna was no longer in pain. Even Anna seems to relax while breastfeeding her little one.

After putting her baby in a crib next to Anna's bed, Bayan contacted her best friends and told them about the birth of her second child. Riko and Rama were happy to hear it.

"Yes" said Anna and Bayan together.

"You want to play with your sister" Nathan said enthusiastically.

"Tomorrow, his sister is tired, sleepy. Now Nathan bobo first, tomorrow just play again," persuaded Bayan.

Nathan nodded then went into his mother's arms and began to close his eyes. It didn't take long for Nathan to fall asleep marked by a fine snoring coming out of his mouth. Anna and Bayan stared at each other with a smile at Nathan's obedient attitude.

"Well, what's the name for the little guy, Dad ?" anna asked as she gently patted Nathan's back.

"His last name is as rich as Nathan Yah's last name" Anna said.

Three days later Bayan brought Anna and their baby home. Rama and Riko prepare a simple welcoming event at Bayan's house assisted by Arti and Yumi. The event will be attended by the closest people.

Seeing that the house had been beautifully decorated made Anna smile happily.

Nathan, who still does not believe that he has become a brother, repeatedly approached the baby box to just look at his sister. After touching the little sister's cheek, Nathan would run away as fast as he could. Nathan's behavior certainly made everyone laugh.

By late afternoon some guests were returning home. Only Riko and Rama are left with their families. Bayan also let his wife into the room to rest. Meani brings the sleeping Nathan to the room, while Yumi holds Nicko and takes him to the room.

After cleaning up and changing clothes, Anna lay on the bed.
