223. Nathan's Decision

In the afternoon, at four in the afternoon Hilya was taken to the operating room. Nathan seemed faithful to accompany and continue to be at his side.

"Much do think, son. Do not be afraid, You are not alone because We will accompany you and pray for you," said Hilya's grandmother as she kissed Hilya's head lovingly.

Just when the position of the two side-by-side gurneys, Rosi turned her head and smiled widely behind the bandage that covered her face. He turned to the gurney beside him which he knew contained Hilya who was about to deliver.

The baby's thick aroma seemed to call Rosi and forced her to continue staring at Hilya's bulging stomach. Even Rosi swallowed her saliva many times imagining how delicious the taste and aroma of the three babies inside were.

"Patience a little more. Once this sia*an bandage is opened, then I will definitely be able to move freely. And that means I'll be able to quench my thirst immediately" Rosi's inner.

Just as Rosi was staring into Hilya's belly, Bayan came forward and walked right next to her daughter-in-law's belly. Bayan tried to block Rosi's gaze because he was worried that Rosi would send a spell that could complicate the labor process later.

Somehow when Bayan walked right beside Hilya, there was a pain that greeted Rosi's eyes as if something was sprinkled in her eyes. Rosi blinked her eyes several times to ward off the pain that attacked her eyes but it was difficult. Even so painful Rosi's eyes look watery.

Rosi also turned her gaze in another direction because she could not resist the pain that hit her eyes.

Bayan smiled silently as his first attempt at 'dismissing' Rosi came to fruition.

Bayan recalled what he had done. Apparently Bayan was deliberately preparing camphor wood powder mixed with baby powder belonging to Hilya. Then Bayan put the powder in his palm just as Hilya's gurney would cross paths with Rosi's gurney.

And while walking beside the gurney, Bayan opened his hand until the powder was blown away. Because the position of his hand is right next to Rosi, then Rosi is the one affected.

Bayan did look calm after successfully pranking Rosi. But deep down, Bayan felt uneasy. He was worried that the plan he had put together failed because of one small mistake.

Arriving at the end of the hall the two gurneys separated. The safe carrying Hilya's body turned to the right, while the gurney carrying Rosi's body turned to the left. Abraham shook Mutia's hand before separating.

"May it work" said Abraham, winking his eyes.

"Either. Good luck, too" said Dr. Mutia with a laugh.

Then the two doctors separated at the end of the hall following their respective patients.

From a distance Abraham's doctor saw a gurney carrying Hilya's body stop right in front of the delivery room door. They seem to be praying together. Something the patient's family rarely did and it amazed Abraham's doctor.

"While it seems indifferent and fussy almost every time, it turns out that this family is quite religious as well" the inner physician Abraham smiled silently.

A few moments later the prayer reading was over. A nurse opens the delivery room door while another nurse pushes the gurney into the room with Anna's help. After that Anna also entered the delivery room to make Bayan surprised.

"Lho, why don't you go in there Nath ?!" ask Bayan not understand.

Nathan had opened his mouth to answer the father's question but was preceded by Hilya's grandmother.

"Ga needs Nak. Rather than Nathan inconveniencing the team of doctors because he could not squirm blood, better your wife who accompanied Hilya. I'm supposed to be there too, but unfortunately I'm too old to watch the birth process" Hilya's grandmother explained.

Hilya's grandmother's speech confused Bayan. Because he knew Nathan wasn't a blood phobia aka fear when he saw blood.

"Ok, I'll go there first, Grandma. Come on Well ..," asked Nathan while pulling his father's hand away from the delivery room.

After being away from the delivery room Bayan brushed aside Nathan Ialu's hand and looked at the child with an annoyed look.

"Yes Well. Honestly, I can't relax in there because I'm worried about your safety when facing the demon later" Nathan said quickly.

Nathan's words moved Bayan. He hugged Nathan tightly while patting his back gently.

"OKs. Let's end it all now. Don't give the demon a chance to get up stronger" Bayan said as he unraveled his embrace.

"Ready Well !" sahut Nathan enthusiastically.

The two laughed then hurriedly stepped towards the operating room.
