After shifting away, Bayan and Nathan witness Rosi crying over the tomb of Dusk. Sounds heartbreaking because at that time the condition of Rosi is also sad. Let alone to talk, just speaking it feels difficult and needs great energy. Especially to cry like that.

Rosi is sad not to know that her only child died. All the glimpses of events as he conceived Dusk seemed to re-spin in his mind.

Rosi remembers when she was declared pregnant by a village midwife aka paraji. By then her marriage to Genta had entered its fourth year.

Before marriage Rosi once said that she had problems with her uterus, but Genta did not care and still married her. Rosi is happy because she has a husband who sincerely loves her and is willing to accept all her shortcomings.

That morning after Genta went to the fields, Rosi aka Rusti also did household chores as usual. But suddenly a neighbor named Muah came and asked for his help. Apparently the neighbor felt pain around the stomach and asked Rusti to drive him to a raccoon house.

Without wasting any time Rusti escorted Muah to the house of the paraji. It turned out that the raji was shopping at the market. Therefore Rusti and Muah had to wait on the porch of the paraji house.

Half an hour later the paraji returned and smiled to see Rusti and Muah sitting on the porch of his house.

"You want to check the pregnancy ?" ask the paraji while looking at Rusti.

"Yes Mak" said Rusti and Muah.

"You come in, please" said the paraji, opening the door wide.

"I'm here, Mak. It was Muah who wanted to check on me, not me" Rusti said at the time.

"Why do I check Muah. You're not Muah pregnant," said the paraji, staring at Rusti and Muah in turn.

The words of the paraji made Rusti and Muah shocked. They looked at each other confused.

"But Mak ..," Muah's speech was interrupted because the paraji cut quickly.

"Udah, believe the same Mak. The one who is pregnant right now Rusti is not you. Gapapa You're here. Hopefully, you will get pregnant so that you can understand what Rusti Rasain is now" said the paraji with a smile.

"Ah, Mother. Where there is pregnancy because of exposure. Is pregnant a disease, Mommy ?" muh asked while laughing.

"Just believe it or not. The important thing is I told you yes" said the paraji again.

Finally Rusti wanted to be examined by the paraji even though Rusti had previously asked the paraji to check the condition of Muah's stomach first.

It turned out that after his stomach was touched by the raji, the pain in Muah's stomach disappeared. A moment later, Muah had her period. Muah looks disappointed because he also wants to get pregnant soon as Rusti. Seeing the disappointment on Muah's face the paraji was pitying and comforting him.

"Calm down Muah. Two or three more months you can also get pregnant rich Rusti. Consider the blood that comes out this time to clean your uterus from dirt so that when pregnant later Your child is healthy and not sick," said the paraji.

Hearing the words of the Muah paraji was happy. He nodded his head while smiling.

"Yes Mak" said Muah enthusiastically.

Rusti nodded then went into the room to undergo an examination. When the paraji touched his stomach, Rusti felt like laughing. For almost two hundred years of living in this world, not once did Rusti ever get pregnant despite having been married many times.

But when the paraji frowned and smiled, Rusti began to fidget.

"Why Mak ?" ask Rusti impatiently.

"My guess was never wrong. You're pregnant Rus, congratulations. This is the fourth month already" said the paraji with a smile.

"What ?!" rusti said in disbelief.

"Yes you're four months pregnant Rusti. From now on you have to be careful. Don't do heavy work Rus. Do not mix often with the same Genta. Oh, if about that let me talk to Genta later. The man will not understand if he is not told directly," said the paraji.

Rusti could not remember what the paraji said because his mind wandered somewhere.

The shadow of the slaughtering of the babies and pregnant women flashed across his head. How he laughed after being satisfied to enjoy their blood loomed. Rusti does not believe, after what he did he can still get pregnant and will have offspring.

When Rusti told him the good news, Genta was happy not upset. The man indeed spoiled Rusti with abundant affection that Rusti never got from her previous husbands. And since Rusti was pregnant, Genta's affection was felt to increase. Maybe that's why Rusti loves Genta so much.

Rusti's pregnancy went as it should. She ate and drank voraciously whatever her husband served her. Apparently Genta cooks a variety of foods to pamper Rusti and their future babies.

But one thing that makes Genta wonder is why during pregnancy Rusti is often chased by dogs while passing almost everywhere in the village. Not just once, but many times.

Like that afternoon, after Rusti and Genta shopping to the market they walked down the road that passed near the plantation owned by residents. They deliberately chose that path to avoid chasing the dog. But it turns out their efforts were in vain. Suddenly three gardener dogs ran towards Rusti. Then the three dogs revolved around Rusti as if seeing something creepy and must be watched out. Even though it was just barking, but it was very disturbing and attracted the attention of the citizens.

People came and helped Genta to expel the three dogs. Afterwards the citizens took the initiative to tie the dogs until Rusti and Genta came out of the plantation area.

"What are you doing, honey ?" genta asked after they were away from the plantation.

"Father," said Rusti annoyed.

"Why the dogs. What they see from you keeps chasing you. This isn't the first time you've been chased by a dog, honey ?" genta asked while looking at Rusti.

"Yes, how do I know. Ask the dogs why they chase women rich in Me. Though We do not know at all," said Rusti ketus.

Rusti's answer made Genta laugh at that time. Although Genta laughed, but in his heart he suspected that there was something on their baby. Not wanting to make a fuss and hurt his wife's feelings, Genta chose to be quiet and save his own suspicions.

The awaited time has arrived. Rusti gave birth to a baby girl just at dusk. That's why Genta named their beautiful baby after Dusk.

But the birth of Dusk was accompanied by some unusual natural omens to make Rusti worried.
