123. Emergency Delivery

It is foreseeable that Nathan and Hilya's meeting will continue as Nathan continues to contact Hilya.

"Are they going to the hospital again today?" nathan asked over the phone.

"Ga needs. They are gapapa. Their wounds healed. If only scars are gapapa because they are men. Another story is if they are women. Maybe I'll ask you to finance the cost of the operation until it's healed and smooth as before" Hilya said quickly.

Hilya's words made Nathan laugh. Even though it was spoken with a ketus, but Nathan knew that Hilya was only joking. While on the other side Hilya's face looks blushed because happy. He imagined Nathan's handsome face as he laughed.

"That's why I closed it first. Hopefully after this we still have a chance to see you again. If one day I meet on the street don't pretend I don't know ya," Nathan's pinta earnestly.

"Yes," said Hilya quickly.

"But by the way can you hang out with me ?" nathan asked expectantly.

"Mmm .. can. But don't be impromptu. You see, I still have to help Grandma with Grandpa" said Hilya doubtful.

"Ready !" nathan said at the end of their conversation.

And that night Nathan decided to keep his distance from Hilya.

Nathan and his friends after training to face the final match between football clubs. They're walking down the sidewalk to the stop because Nathan just happened to not have a vehicle. Actually they can use Taxi on line to arrive faster at their respective homes. But they decided to walk because it felt more fun.

"Back yuk, it's late at night," Nathan asked after sipping coffee in his glass.

"Nath, it's still late in the afternoon" said one of Nathan's friends.

"But tomorrow I'm working. Even if it's Bokap Gue's company, I may not be on vacation because of bad luck waking up. That professional is his name. If you still want to be here, I'll go first !" nathan said as he began to step up.

"Nathan's right. Tomorrow is still a work day, between us there are two people who are still in college. We better get back now. If you want to stay up late can find another day," said friend Nathan mediate.

Seeing his friends following in his footsteps, Nathan smiled. While busy talking Nathan and his friends saw a crowd of people in the middle of the road. They rushed over thinking there was an accident. Especially when it was seen some men carrying a woman who screamed in pain.

"What's wrong, sir ?!" ask Nathan.

"There's a girl giving birth to Mas" said the man.

"Oh that. Why wasn't he taken to the nearest clinic or hospital ?" ask Nathan.

"Ga sempet Mas. The baby is nongol. Fortunately there was a Midwife who happened to pass by so she could make the emergency delivery," said the man while repeatedly turning to the highway as if waiting for something.

"Keep looking for what ?" nathan asked as he followed the direction of the man's gaze.

"Ambulance. I called the Hospital but the Ambulance hasn't arrived. The woman's midwife said she should be taken to the Hospital immediately after giving birth later," the man said.

"Let me help the other Hospital telephonins, sir," Nathan said as he pulled out his phone.

"Yes, thank you" said the man with a smile.

Meanwhile behind them was heard a woman giving a warning about what citizens should do. The voice of the woman who was about to give birth was heard accompanying. Nathan and his friends stood their backs to protect the woman in emergency labor from being seen.

"Yes so. Breathe in Mom, keep pushing ...," said the woman who allegedly Nathan as a midwife who was meant by the residents.

Hearing the midwife's voice made Nathan frown because he felt he had heard the voice. When Nathan was thinking who the midwife was, the woman behind him twitched then followed by the sound of a shrill baby crying broke the night. Residents cheered to learn of the baby boy who was born safely there.

"Thank God ...!" everyone in the room laughed happily.

"Don't disperse yet, Fathers. I still have to take care of the baby for a while" said the midwife.

"Each Bu Midwife ...!" sahut citizens together.

Shortly thereafter Ambulance sirens were heard in the distance. Nathan smiles at the logo of the private hospital he contacted earlier on the Ambulance windshield. That means the ambulance he called came sooner than he expected.

Officers from the Hospital came down to evacuate the mother and her baby. The midwife seemed to be helping. She held the baby and handed it to the hospital staff. The midwife spoke briefly with the Hospital staff. And it was then that Nathan could clearly see who the midwife meant by the citizens.

"Hilya ...?!" call Nathan to make the girl look.

"Eh, You. What's in here ?" ask Hilya.

"Continue passing. So you're the midwife who helped the mother give birth ?" ask Nathan.

"Yes. I'm sorry I have to go to the Hospital now" Hilya said.

"Let me take you !" nathan said as he held out his palm asking for Hilya's motorbike key.

Without thinking, Hilya handed over the keys to her motorbike to Nathan because she could not go to the Hospital in a bloodstained condition unaccompanied.

Nathan turned to his friends who seemed to nod because they understood what he was doing. Soon after, Nathan took a motorcycle to the Hospital with Hilya sitting behind him.
