106. He's Not Saba

If Rosiana thinks she can hide from Nathan and the police, then Rosiana is wrong. The police found Rosiana. And that day Nathan and the police came to Ejah's house to arrest Rosiana.

When Nathan and the police arrive, Rosiana and Mak Ejah are sitting on a couch in front of the house. The two were sorting out the vegetables that Usman had bought. Rosiana is happy to see Mak Ejah laughing because it means that the woman can forget her sadness after having nightmares about her missing baby.

Suddenly Rosiana and Mak Ejah are shocked by the arrival of plainclothes police. They approach Rosiana and bully her so she doesn't run away.

"Who are they ?. Why did they arrest you ?!" mak Ejah panicked when he saw Rosiana being taken away from him.

"Don't come here, Mom. I'm gapapa kok !" sahut Rosiana's.

Mak Ejah who did not believe in Rosiana's answer also tried to get closer. Because of the hurry mak Ejah tripped and almost fell. Nathan who was with the police approached Mak Ejah and immediately held his arm so as not to fall down.

"Be careful Mom ...!" said Nathan.

Mak Ejah turned his head and was surprised to see Nathan. A moment later Mak Ejah immediately hugged Nathan tightly while crying to the surprise of everyone.

"He's not Kang Saba Mak. He's my boss in the office !" rosiana said loudly to make Mak Ejah stop crying.

Then Mak Ejah unravels his embrace but his gaze still leads to Nathan's face to make him misbehave.

Slowly Nathan broke down Mak Ejah's hand checks. Then he smiled and began to explain the reason why Rosiana was arrested. At that time the police showed their badges to make Mak Ejah nod his head in understanding.

"Why are you so bad, Ci. Mak never taught you to kill people, right ...?" mak Ejah said with a raucous voice.

"I'm Sorry Mak. I didn't intend to kill him. I just want to teach him a lesson because he already made me hurt first" said Rosiana while bowing her head.

"I thought you'd forgotten everything. Not that Mak said revenge would only make your life miserable. Now look at the evidence, you were arrested by the police for being involved in the death of your friend," said Mak Ejah while rubbing his face.

Rosiana remained silent. He realizes his mistake and however he must account for everything sooner or later.

Suddenly Usman came. He was surprised to see Rosiana's hands handcuffed. Usman knew the men in front of him were cops, but he didn't know what was wrong with Rosiana.

"Let me talk to that guy for a second, sir," Rosiana asked as she looked at Nathan expectantly.

"Well, ten minutes !" nathan said as he stepped out of the place.

Rosiana nodded and then asked Usman to shift away so that he could speak with four eyes. Rosiana explained what she had done so quickly that Usman shook his head in disappointment.

"I did not expect, besides being ambitious it turns out you are also evil Ci. You could even kill your friend" Usman said.

"I didn't intend to kill Usman !" sangkal Rosiana riled up.

Usman fell silent because he didn't know what else to say.

"I know you hate me now. But please take care of Mak Ejah as long as I'm in jail. I don't know how long I'll be in jail. But I'm calm because there's someone looking after Mak. That's also if you're willing," Rosiana said.

"Go away Ci, just live your sentence calmly. Without you asking me to also take care of Mak Ejah because He is like my own mother" said Usman while whining.

Rosiana smiled. I don't know why Usman's speech is able to melt everything. And at that time Rosiana realized that Usman was a good and sincere man. He regretted that he had ignored Usman.

"Thank you Usman" Rosiana said sincerely.

Then Rosiana stepped closer to the two policemen who were still waiting for her in front of the house. He also apologized to Mak Ejah once again.

With a heavy heart Mak Ejah and Usman let go of Rosiana. They even took Rosiana to the highway. As Rosiana was about to get into the police car, she turned to Usman.

"So you still want to wait for me, I promise to come back for you Usman," Rosiana said with a smile.

Rosiana's words made Usman and Mak Ejah shocked. The two were still staring at each other as the car carrying Rosiana drove away from the place. Usman's face looks sparkling after hearing Rosiana's promise earlier. In his heart, Usman promised to wait for Rosiana.

Next to Usman, Mak Ejah looks at the car that continues to move away from it. His gaze was locked at one point. Not in the police car that took Rosiana but in the other car that Nathan was driving.

"He ... I found his figure in the boy. Maybe she is ...," inwardly mak Ejah.

Mak Ejah's daydream breaks when Usman touches his hand and invites him to take a step.

"Let's drive Mak home" Usman said.

At that time Mak Ejah was waiting for Usman restlessly. After a few days Rosiana was arrested, Mak Ejah began to worry if anything happened to her. Then Mak Ejah asked Usman to take him to visit Rosiana in prison.

Shortly afterwards Usman and Mak Ejah appear to have been on a bus out of town to the police station where Rosiana was being held.

As his feet got off the bus, Mak Ejah's body seemed to tremble slightly. He had to brace himself for being forced to return to the city where he had experienced the worst period of his life.

"What's wrong, right ?" asked Usman when he saw the face of Mak Ejah who paled.

"We're going a little way there, Mom. Now at the end of the road is the police station where Rosiana was detained until the file is ready to be submitted to the court" said Usman.

Mak Ejah nodded. With the help of Usman, he stepped slowly. Mak Ejah is not an old grandmother who must be helped while walking. But somehow his joints felt linu since getting off the bus earlier to make Usman pity and clean it.

When entering the police station area, they passed by a car that had just come out. Mak Ejah's body froze when he found out who the man in the car was. His heart was beating fast, sweat was flowing profusely. And a moment later Mak Ejah's body was hollow. Luckily Usman swiftly held the woman's body until it did not fall on the ground.

From a distance, a young police officer runs towards Usman and Mak Ejah.

"We brought it in" said the police officer.

"Well sir, thank you," Usman said.

Then Usman and the young policeman brought Mak Ejah into a room and placed her in a long chair. When Usman and the young policeman came out of the room, Ejah cried silently.
