113. Go after Arafah

After serving a trial for the persecution that led to Mia's death, Rosiana was eventually sentenced to six years in prison. The sentence was lighter than the prosecution's demand that Rosiana be sentenced to eight years in prison.

The mitigating thing is because Rosiana is cooperative and does not complicate the investigation even though she had run away because of fear. Another mitigating factor was that Rosiana was well mannered in the trial and had never been imprisoned before.

Hearing the sentence handed down by the Judge to Rosiana made mak Ejah goosebumps. He almost fell to the floor. Luckily Usman swiftly held his body until Mak Ejah did not fall to the floor.

"What's wrong, right ?. Still strong, Mak ?" ask Usman worriedly.

"Why the sentence is so long Man. Kasian Oci," said mak Ejah sadly.

"I don't know Mak either. But we follow the plot. Hopefully in the future there will be a way for Oci to be free sooner," said Usman no less sad.

"Did you talk to Mr Bayan the other day it didn't work out Man ?. Where is he going now ?. Why is Mak not squirming him here again ?" ask mak Ejah gusar.

"It didn't work, Mom. But Mr. Bayan asked that we do not interfere in the judiciary because somehow it is wrong Oci," said Usman.

While on the other side Marco, his wife and Nathan also seemed to sigh in relief. They were happy that justice for Mia had been served. Although they felt the punishment for Rosiana was not balanced with the consequences, they accepted with great heart.

"Mama is not satisfied with Judge Pa's verdict. Six years is not equal to the life of our Son" said Marco's wife, rubbing his wet eyes.

"Yes, Papa knows Ma. But don't forget, we have agreed to accept whatever the judge's decision is" Marco warned.

"Betul Ma's. Mia must know that we're trying to get justice for her. Let's just say the criminal is punished and our job is done. Now it's good that Mama comes home to rest. Mama's face looked very pale" Nathan said.

Nathan's words moved Marco and his wife. Even though Nathan is canceled to be their son-in-law, Nathan's call and attention to them have not changed.

"alright. Mama's coming home now. You also take care of your health, son. If one day you find a replacement for Mia, please tell us. Let us be at your wedding" Marco's wife said in a trembling voice.

Marco's wife broke his arms. She seems to be stepping slowly by her husband's side while repeatedly looking at Nathan.

"I'm Sorry Mak. I've made Mak embarrassed and hard to continue" Rosiana said in between sobs.

"That's gone, forget about Ci. In the future Mak hopes you can be more patient and not rash again. This time you go to jail because of your high ego. Accept what is your destiny. Poor and unpopular are not punishments. We just have to try to be a good human being and useful to other humans in terms of goodness. That's it," said mak Ejah while rubbing Rosiana's back gently.

Mak Ejah's words are quite touching in Nathan's heart and it makes him curious about the figure of mak Ejah. Nathan sharpened his eyesight. Up close he could observe mak Ejah more intensely. Nathan is a little distracted by the call Mak aka grandmother pinned to the woman.

"Mak ..," call Rosiana while nudging her soft arms.

"Eh i-iya. Why Ci ?" ask mak Ejah nervously.

"I don't know Mak with Mr. Nathan. He is Mia's fiancee, the daughter of the boss I work for. Mr. Nathan, this is my Mother. Call me Mak Ejah. And this .. This is my Husband's candidate. His name is Usman" said Rosiana timidly.

The words of Rosiana who recognized herself as a prospective husband made Usman's feelings bloomed happily. He and Nathan shake hands with each other while smiling while Mak Ejah just nods his head as a greeting.

Mak Ejah returns to the rented house that Usman rented for him. Mak Ejah decided to stay there until Rosiana finished serving her sentence.

While walking towards the rented house accompanied by Usman, Mak Ejah saw Ayu and his small family were walking in the park. Ayu was seen in her husband's arms while Arafah stepped beside her while holding her fingers.

Mak Ejah seemed to grin remembering what he had done to Ayu. And this time his gaze was fixed on the female toddler who was walking by Ayu's side. It seems that Mak Ejah is interested in Arafah, the beautiful toddler.

"What's Mak's point ?" tanya Usman surprised Mak Ejah.

Mak Ejah nodded then looked back at Arafah who was laughing cheerfully beside the mother. Many times mak Ejah swallowed his saliva while imagining the taste and smell of the blood of the beautiful toddler.
