56. Nicko's Nightmare

To celebrate his success as one of the winners in the painting race he participated in, Nicko asked Nathan to take him somewhere. Nathan also invited his sister to stop by a lesehan restaurant.

"Rather than wasting money, we eat Nick" Nathan said when his sister asked him why he went to the diner.

"But I don't mean eat heavy Bang. Yes we just relax, coffee cake or whatever," protested Nicko.

"You don't have to be fussy. You don't know what it's like to be a boarding boy. Buruan pesen deh, Abang hungry. You want to practice your brother, so it's up to you what you eat" Nathan said.

Nicko seemed to snort annoyed at the words of his brother. He imagined being taken to a place that was fun and not eating lesehan that he could enjoy anywhere including in Jakarta.

Seeing Nicko's bent face made Nathan smile silently. He deliberately brought Nicko to the restaurant because he wanted his sister to eat after a day of not eating well. And when he saw Nicko eating voraciously, Nathan laughed.

"Why laugh, why is there such a funny Bang ?" ask Nicko with his mouth full.

"Yes, you're funny" Nathan said in between his laughter.

"What the hell, it's not clear," said Nicko annoyed.

"You're all upset, angry when you brought him here. But if the food is good, uh eat it really well. You lose, you lose" Nathan said with a smile.

Hearing the brother's words made Nicko blush in shame. He was hungry. The lunch given by the organizers was not in accordance with his tongue. So Nicko also gave his lunch box to a scavenger who happened to pass in front of him earlier.

"Yes, I'm hungry because I didn't have lunch" Nicko said shyly after finishing his meal.

"OKs. After this we go home and rest at home. Because you also have to prepare stamina so that you can follow the night tour that was your gift. Regarding the streets, while you are still here, God will show you an exciting place later" Nathan said firmly.

Nicko nodded resignedly because he knew it was impossible to refute the words of his brother.

Upon arriving in front of the boarding house, Nathan and Nicko are greeted by a beautiful girl named Ira. She was Nathan's girlfriend.

"Have you been waiting for Ra ?" ask Nathan.

"Lumayan," Ira said quickly as she looked at Nicko clingy.

"Oh yes. This knows my brother Nicko, just yesterday came from Jakarta," Nathan said introducing his sister.

"Hi Nicko, I'm Ira your brother's girlfriend. Greetings yes," Ira said kindly.

"Hai Brother. Seneng can know his girlfriend Bang Nathan firsthand," said Nicko as he glanced at Nathan.

Nathan and Ira laughed at Nicko. After a brief stale, Nicko was ready to rest in the room.

Then Nicko cleaned himself up and laid his body on the bed while reaching for his phone that rang. Apparently the mother who contacted him and asked the results of the race he participated in today through a video call connection.

Nicko also told about the victory he had obtained and it made Anna cheer happy. Seeing the mother's enthusiastic expression made Nicko smile.

"Just a one-bund champion, not a one-time champion. Why is Mommy so cool ?" ask Nicko.

"That's also a feat, son. You must be patient and grateful because everyone must also experience the process. Something that is obtained instantly or easily will not be memorable because it will usually disappear quickly as well. So enjoy the process and be grateful for your victory. Mother and Father are proud of you Son," said Anna softly.

Anna's words warm Nicko's heart. He smiled and nodded to his mother's words.

When Anna asks for Nathan's whereabouts, Nicko upset about Ira's presence. Anna who heard the youngest's 'heartbreak' laughed so hard that she made Bayan who was sitting in front of her frown. Out of curiosity, Bayan sat down next to his wife to see the youngest talking.

"What's his name ?" ask Anna.

"He said Ira" said Nicko reluctantly.

"Don't hate people too much. Who knows, he will help you when you are in trouble. And who knows Ira will also be your sister-in-law for marrying your brother" Anna said, raising her eyebrows.

"Ck, Mommy how the hell. Not angry even support his girlfriend Brother. That girl isn't a good guy Bund !" nicko said, riled up to make Anna surprised.

"Where do you know Ira's not a good person ?" asked Anna curiously.

"So he's a good guy, he's not going to play at a boys' hostel at this hour. It's the night of the Bund, nine o'clock. Are you afraid of being scolded by Mother Cost. I'm also confused about Brother. The mother's words surprised Nicko. Even Nicko changed his lying position to sit because he was so surprised. He did not expect that Ira was the son of the owner of the boarding house that Nathan occupied.

Nicko's shock is sidetracked when Nathan walks into the room. Seeing his brother talking to his parents, Nathan joined in. Finished greeting his parents, Nathan cleaned himself and changed clothes.

When he looked at Nathan's bed, he saw his sleeping brother.

After putting out the room lights, Nathan rolled out a folding mattress right next to the bed. He lay there and a moment later Nathan fell asleep.

But just fell asleep Nathan was disturbed by the sound of Nicko muttering. Nathan opened his eyes and watched his brother. Nathan looked at Nicko who kept talking while closing his eyes. Not only that, Nicko also seemed to shake his hand as if he was throwing something in the air.

Nathan, who understands that his brother has nightmares, rushes to wake him up. He shook Nicko's shoulder and patted him on the cheek several times until Nicko woke up. Nicko was surprised to see the dark room.

"What's Bang, the lights are off ?" ask Nicko while rubbing his eyes.

"Not turned off the lights, Brother did deliberately turn off the lights earlier. What are you ?. Why talk while sleeping ?" nathan asked as he stood up and turned on the room light.

Nicko seemed to block both eyes with the palm of his hand to get used to the atmosphere of the room that suddenly bright.

"I just had a dream" Nicko said.

"What dream ?" ask Nathan.

Nicko also explained that he had just dreamed of meeting a beautiful woman. The woman was wearing a nice long white dress like a bride.

At first everything was fine. Nicko saw the woman walking towards the altar alone with a smile. At that time Nicko was in the line of guests who were preparing to watch a wedding procession. Something happened and surprised everyone.

Upon arriving at the altar, the woman stood her back to the guest for a few seconds. Then the woman's head turned towards the guests with a smile. The guests screamed as they watched the woman's white dress turn red after it was soaked in blood coming from her neck. Nicko panicked because he saw the position of the woman's body that looked unnatural.

"What is normal ?" nathan asked curiously.

"His body was standing straight facing forward, but his face was facing backwards. You understand what I mean ?" ask Nicko riled.

Nicko's words suddenly made Nathan's feathers bristled. He fell silent because he did not expect his sister to have nightmares while sleeping in his room.
