5. About Genta

Since knowing he is different from others, Dusk added to close himself. To avoid unwanted things, Dusk resigned from his place of work. At first all the friends did not believe his decision, but they tried to understand when Dusk said he would return home to accompany his mother.

The Twilight Mother, Rusti, was the same person as the Twilight, even worse. Rusti is also reluctant to interact with neighbors around him. She raised Dusk without a husband. Senja's father, Genta, went missing after a scene in his village.

The full moon was full in the night sky. Genta, along with several men who were also villagers, walked home from the city to the village where his son and wife lived. Genta and his small family were the settlers of their village.

" How come there are people smoking in the middle of a rich forest gini," said one resident.

" Where is it ?" ask the others.

" That's..," said the resident who thought someone was smoking.

They turned towards the point of fire as big as embers on the cigarette, looking at him for a moment. But they were shocked as the flash point moved towards them and slowly grew and chased after them quickly.

" She...!" yelled Genta who realized that it was the banaspati, the fire demon that chased and preyed on humans.

Genta along with several men were seen running away from the pursuit of fireballs (banaspati ) that followed them since entering the village border. They kept running until they fell, got up and fell again trying to run as far as possible. Banaspati, which was only a small speck of fire, grew bigger and more frightening. Chasing anyone who is found.

Banaspati only stopped chasing after they arrived near the house of Mbah Towo, one of the village elders.

They rested for a while near the door of Mbah Towo's house. But not too long ago, they heard a rustling sound from the trees beside Mbah Towo's house.

They notice something that seems to move. At that time Genta who was carrying a machete was intending to approach a tree that was moving suspiciously.

" Ati-ati Mas.., he said Banaspati ngikutin Kita..," said Moses frightened.

" Be calm Kang Mus, I bring a machete, if there is anything to stay at the top," said Genta.

Moses and some of the men approached the tree and took refuge behind Genta. When the leaves of the tree are busy, it appears that a long haired head without a body is eating a human baby who lives half.

All the men were shocked and ran away, only Genta looked at the disembodied head ghost in front of him with eyes glaring silently.

The head ghost was also as shocked as Genta. He looked at Genta without a sound, then immediately darted away leaving Genta there without injuring Genta in the slightest.

Genta's body slumped to the ground with sweat flooding his face and body. He couldn't believe seeing a ghost without a body just now. With trembling legs, Genta decided to leave his friends who were still standing there amazed.

" Mas Genta, where are you going?, wait here first, the ghost of the head will chase you...," exclaimed Moses reminded.

" I'm worried about my son and wife at Kang Mus's house.., I'm first yeah..," said Genta in a voice trembling with fear.

But his common sense led him to go home soon.

Hearing Genta's words, the men who were taking refuge in Mbah Towo's house were shocked. They remembered their respective families who must have been frightened if the ghost of the head was to patronize their home.

They rushed back to their respective homes with remaining courage.

Dusk, who was only five years old, continued to whine at his mother asking for the whereabouts of his father.

" Mom.., Where the hell are you. How not to go home?, Dusk kangen the same Mr....," whining Dusk.

Rusti could not answer the question of the child, until he began to lazy to talk.

" Buuu..., did you get kidnapped by a subtle creature, Mom ?" ask Dusk next time.

Rusti was silent, and only gestured with his hands and eyes when he was communicating.

" The words of the Father were kidnapped and killed by delicate creatures, and his body was cut into pieces given to crocodiles, Ms..," cried Dusk while crying.

Rusti remained silent. Just staring blankly at Dusk, while stroking his head fondly.

Then the villagers started calling him mute. Rusti has been mute since her husband's departure. Villagers assume that Rusti feels very hit and can not accept the reality of the husband left behind.

Rusti remained silent until the twilight of adulthood and decided to move to another city.

Dusk intends to invite the mother to move in order to forget the bad memories of Genta, the father of Dusk. But Rusti refused. He chose to live in the village. She was worried that her husband might come and had trouble finding him if he moved.

Dusk is forced to leave the mother in search of a better life. Dusk routinely sends money every month to the mother. Dusk worries and leaves the safety of his mother to Moses, his father's friend.

A few months after Dusk's departure, Rusti disappeared. He left home to the forest. Rusti goes to find her son and husband. Villagers suspect Rusti to be a gi*a since abandoned by her son and husband.

For days the villagers searched, but there was no Rusti anywhere. Finally the people gave up and told Dusk what happened. Dusk is still trying to find clues in his parents' house. Twilight felt a bit odd but did not know where to look for answers.

It is now the twilight in this world. He decided to move out of his old house.

After the hijrah, Dusk worked in a restaurant. He used to take an afternoon break to meet his little friend.

Twilight does like young children, not to prey on them, but rather because he finds happiness when with them.

Dusk was willing to do anything to make his little friend laugh happily. For example, by giving them food, books, and just sharing stories every day.

Dusk has no ambition or desire like other girls his age. Having a girlfriend or just liking an idol artist just does not dusk do. Twilight just wants to enjoy the company with the kids.

Until he meets Bayan, a grown man who arouses his dead conscience with one word, love.

Although I do not understand what love means, but Dusk is just an ordinary man who also has feelings. He felt comfortable with the presence of Bayan who repeatedly tested him, he felt there was a 'missing' if Bayan did not come to see him in a certain period of time.

Dusk finds out what love is through a book he borrowed in the library. After understanding his feelings, Dusk was afraid to start because he was sure he would end up disappointed.
