CHAPTER 47
“Darling, are you proud of me?”
“I've always been proud of you, my dear."
Laura and her newly married husband two months ago were lying on a large bed in the room that used to be Thunder's room. The room is now almost unrecognizable as the Gemintang completely remodeled as Laura and Adit's wedding gift.
Wallpapers, window curtains, towels, bathroom utensils, rugs that lay on the floor, long sofas and lounge chairs following his desk were all replaced by Gemintang, following the tastes of Adit and Laura. The stars want Laura and Adit to be at home in their new room.
Laura snuggled into her husband's body. His fingers lightly stroked Adit's stomach. “I mean you're really proud because I myself bought the goods‐of our needs? I didn't count the change wrong, did I?”
Adit's hands were closing in on Laura. After two months of sleeping with his wife, he became convinced that he loved Laura and would never let go of her arms. “You did everything really right, baby. I always believed you could do it.”
Adit accompanies Laura to the supermarket, to shop for their personal needs and to buy for the kitchen, Heny orders. But when he asked his wife to take care of his payment, Laura's eyes flashed with fear.
Adit convinces Laura, if she can do it. Laura carefully calculated the amount of money to be paid, then waited for her change. As they left the supermarket, Laura's eyes twinkled like a child who had just managed to work on her replication.
“I remember my brother Raden often take me to minimarket or cafe. He wanted to teach me to do everything on my own, from order to pay, but I was always afraid of being wrong, I didn't even want to try, and my brother was disappointed in me for not trying."
Adit changed the position of his head on the pillow so that he could see Laura. “You need not fear disappointing me,” seductive Adit and his wife hid her face in the shoulder curve of Adit.
“I want to please you more than anyone, which is why I want to try it, and do it as well as possible. I know I'm not as smart as people, but I don't want you to regret marrying me.”
Adit lay sideways and hugged Laura. “My darling,” whispered between the woman's hair. “How could I regret marrying you? I love you so much, whatever you do, or you don't. You don't have to chase my love, my dear Laurel. You've got my whole heart, forever.”
“Adit,” whispered Laura while stroking her husband's chest. “I love you so much.” While sitting down, Laura took off her nightgown through the head and threw it at the foot of the bed.
Laura's innocent attitude made Adit love her more, she was like a child whose heart was very clean. Laura taught Adit something about acceptance. Adit didn't like to see his puffed-up legs. He hated his feet.
To her surprise, Laura loved her body. He was always looking for a reason to touch her. His wife's delicate hand felt like it was channeling a healing power on his left leg. Every single one of her petties was an expression of sincere love for Adit. During his life, Adit had never seen anyone as good as Laura.
With a sweet smile, Laura lay down beside Adit and placed her hand on the man's waist. Adit plays Laura's long hair and kisses her. Soon they caressed each other. Adit stroked Laura's back as the woman overstretched her body. Laura placed her palm on Adit's cheek and repeatedly kissed him. Her kitten-like tongue tickles Adit's ears, a new skill Laura gains from Adit.
Laura slightly lowered her body and kissed Adit's neck and chest. Adit almost jumped out of his bed.
“Laura,” sigh Adit.
“Hmmm?” his wife muttered, not stopping. “When you do this to me, it feels good. Don't you feel good being treated this way too? If you don't like it, I'll stop.”
Adit's hand stroked Laura's hair. “Do not, do not stop dear,” replied Adit stuttered. “Do not stop..” Adit corrects the position of his wife's body on top of her body and with a slow movement Adit unites their bodies.
The desire in their bodies churned until Adit finally held onto Laura's hip and moved. Laura buried Adit's head into her small breasts* while their bodies were both shaking. Long after that they kept hugging. Then Laura gently kissed her husband's forehead and lay down beside him.
“I'm happy you taught me how to fuck,” Laura said.
Adit laughs. “So do I, I am happy dear.”
“May everyone in this world be as happy as we are.”
“I don't think it's possible. No one is as happy and lucky as I am for having you.” Adit landed a friendly kiss on his wife's lips.
“I hope Gemintang can be happy. Ever since Raden left, he never seemed happy" Laura said.
Adit felt that sometimes his wife was much more sensitive than anyone else. “Do you think does Gemintang miss Raden?”
“Yes, I think so, dear.”
“I also think like that.”
Laura was silent for a moment and Adit thought the woman was asleep. Then Laura said, “I'm afraid the stars will die like Daddy.”
Adit held his wife's chin and raised it. “What do you mean?”
“Stars are sick," said Laura. “Daddy used to stroke the stomach when no one was around, and daddy often closed his eyes like he felt something hurt in his body.”
“Then what does it have to do with Gemintang?”
“He did the same. Last night, when I got home from the factory, I watched her from the terrace. He climbed the first two steps, then he stopped and leaned on the handle of the stairs. He held his head for a long time, it looked like he was asphyxiated. I just wanted to get close and help him but he got back on his feet, he had to work hard to get to the top.”
Laura bends. “Honey, Gemintang will not die, right?”
“No, no, definitely not,” Adit said, reassuring Laura and petting her hair. “She may just be tired.”
“I hope so. I don't want anyone to die in this house again until I die. Especially you,” said Laura while holding Adit tightly. “Don't die, Adit.”
Adit held back tightly to Laura, he felt his wife's soft breath touch his skin, so knowing Laura was asleep, Adit covered his wife's body with a blanket and then hugged her back.
But Adit could not sleep, his mind glared in the darkness of the room, his forehead wrinkled. He was also worried about Gemintang, especially if he remembered what Laura had just said to him, his feelings became even more worried.
