Fatih, who had just arrived at dreamland, was forced to reopen her eyelids when the flat object in her pocket made a call. He picked up the call without seeing who was calling.
"Hallo." His voice answered. Then shut up and listen.
Those closed eyes opened perfectly upon hearing the report that someone had given him. Slowly he glanced at Seira, his wife and son looking asleep.
"Well, I'm going there!"
Fatih closed the connection, moved slowly and carefully. He put a pillow on Rayan's back and covered her body. Glanced at Seira before waking the woman up.
"Why, Mas?" Seira frowned, his body that was about to be held by Fatih to stay lying down.
"Mas wants to go out for a minute, there's business." Fatih whispered worried that he would wake Rayan up.
"Where are you going? What time is it?" tanya Seira squinted her eyes because of the glare towards the light of the lamp.
"There's business to be done, it's almost late. You sleep here" Fatih answered, wiping Seira's hand that was coiled around Rayan's body.
"But, it's a shame, Mom."
"Mas went with Mr. Dirman, Mas door locks from the outside. The spare key is in the drawer." Fatih went down and walked around to the side of the bed where Seira was.
He leaned over while dipping the woman's forehead.
"Be careful, Mom. Go straight home if Mas's business is done," said Seira as she put her hands around her husband's neck.
"Yes, baby."
Fatih took off her hand, grabbed her jacket and car keys before exiting the room. Seira sighed, whatever Fatih's business he just prayed that it would be easier.
"Sir!"
"Where, Mr Dirman? I was less clear than that" asked Fatih as he got into the car and sat down next to the steering wheel.
Jago came in, sat in the steering chair before reporting.
"Citizens said there were angry women coming and threatening everyone. He can't accept where his business was damaged, sir." Jago starts the car engine and drives away leaving the empty parking lot.
The restaurant had been closed since an hour ago, there were only security personnel passing around the building in charge of maintaining security.
"That must be him," Fatih muttered as he looked straight ahead.
There was no more conversation between them, the silent atmosphere of the car was as quiet as that night. Only a few vehicles pass on the highway, not as crowded during the day.
Remembering his purpose of staying there, in addition to attending reunion events, also because Fatih wanted to solve the case that the community complained to him. For this reason, he plans to stay one week or until the matter is finished.
A few weeks ago, Fatih accidentally heard a public complaint about a building that made residents restless. At that time Fatih was resting in a mosque, as well as performing ashar prayer.
It was there that he saw a group of people discussing about the building they had suspected for a long time.
"But how? We are poor people, we have nothing. If he comes to play money and make a report that is not, right, we are also bothered."
Fatih frowned at the complaints of one of the residents. His heart was wondering what made them restless.
"Yes, even though we have made a warning letter so that the building is closed, but they are not horrified." Conversation continues.
"Some of us will not be able to say anything, the RT people will continue. He said it was just a rented boarding house. In fact, I see my own eyes in there are many young women who wear sexy clothes. Sometimes men go in and out. Wonder me."
Frowns on Fatih's forehead more and more, if true guesses then all of it must be dissolved especially if the place stands in the middle of the community environment.
"Lah, yes. The RT is delicious, every day with money. That's why he keeps shutting up. Make a report also free, he just a signature just keep it saved by himself. He said, not at all."
"Sorry, Gentlemen. If allowed I can know the problem that you are discussing this? It's nothing, I just feel like the issue you're all discussing should be cleared up quickly." Fatih said softly and politely.
All eyes were on him, some felt foreign, but some were almost familiar.
"Oh, son Fatih, yes. Please, Son. Sit here" said one of the residents who Fatih knows as an imam at the mosque.
"Thank you, Mr. Ustadz." Fatih was well received at the assembly because of his courtesy and a brief explanation from the priest.
"So, may I know what makes people anxious? Maybe I can help" Fatih said.
"Look, Fatih Boy. Behind our village there is a land that was once empty. The land had a local RT, then a few months ago a building was erected he said for a social parlour. No doubt, there are forbidden practices that make residents restless. We can't do anything because all parties are involved."
The complaints of the priest of the mushola made Fatih's heart throb. The place should not be there, the forbidden practice in it involving village officials did make residents restless.
"We've issued a warning to keep the building closed, but they're threatening to damage the children in our neighborhood, sir."
Fatih was stunned, this indeed could not be left anymore.
"Then have you reported to the authorities?"
"Udah, son, but no response."
Fatih fell silent, thinking what they should do for the building to close.
"Now what do you want the fathers of all this?" Fatih continued to ask.
"We want to collapse the building, sir, but that's the problem they continue to threaten."
Fatih nodded his head in understanding.
"Kalo RT is involved, the authorities have no response, mending Mr. all united determination and energy to destroy the place. Don't worry, sir. I will be responsible if they threaten and bring the police. Now, gather the evidence first so that the actions of the Fathers are all justified."
That's how Fatih came up with the solution. He made himself a guarantee for the actions of the citizens in the destruction of the building.
Before the citizens act, Fatih first went to the police station with the evidence he got from the residents. He also received permission from the police to tear down the building that made residents restless.
While at the scene, Mala was shocked to see the building he built was torn down by residents. Many walls were broken, glass was broken, and the roof lost its protector.
He inflamed, walked hastily and snatched one of the wooden sticks from the hands of the citizens. The people he hired were inside the building, while the RT chairman was unable to stop the rampage.
"You poor people dare to destroy this place! What right do you have?" mala shouted in front of the building.
"What rights? Of course we have rights. The right to a comfortable and peaceful life is also clean from immoral practices like this!" The voice of one of the citizens was no less high.
"You're all hypocrites! Marasa sok holy though the same. I only help people who have trouble making money, by working here their lives are better. You knock this building down just as you shut the door of their sustenance!" mala's jolt is getting fiery.
"Here you go, Father, Mother, we can talk about all this. No need to do this anarchist thing." Mr. RT's voice was heard.
"The father is RT, already supposed to keep the neighborhood where the residents of the Father to be clean, but why do you like to support the woman!"
The man with the status of the head of the Neighbor's Pillar fell silent, feeling stupefied by his pride.
"Be quiet, if you are still like this I will not hesitate to tell my people to ruin your house. Hear it!" Mala threatened, but the threat this time had no effect.
"Remain if you can. Nothing justifies the practice of prostitution because it will only undermine the morale of everyone, especially children."
The voice echoed making Mala stunned. Following the police siren that made him tremble.
