"Ray, let's go!" Eve pulled my hand hurriedly as soon as I opened the locker room door, when I had just finished changing into a swimsuit.
"Why?" my many.
"That's like someone drowned. Come there! Who knows there's no nakes there."
I looked in the direction Eve pointed. Across there was a crowd of people on the edge of the pool. From the water a man is seen carrying a teenage girl from the water. It seems the man saved her.
"Let's hurry!!!"
Eve and I ran around in a small crowd of fear of flaking because of the slippery floor tiles. From our distance to the crowd it was quite far because this public swimming pool was quite large and spacious with 2 adult pools and one children's pool.
"So move!!! Excuse me! We're doctors."
Eve immediately burst out among the crowd who saw the incident, followed by me. And the crowd of people instantly gave way to us.
I was surprised to see the drowning victim who was none other than the person I saw in the mall earlier. What was his name? Oh, Nadja. I still remember. Next to him was the same man he was at the mall, who I thought was the lover of this little teenager. This man was trying to unzip the front of the little girl's swimsuit.
"Basic cabuuul!!!" Spontaneously I pushed this man out of the boy's body. Pedophiles cannot be allowed to.
The man was surprised, and looked at me furiously. He pushed me and tried to get close to the girl again. I didn't take it and pulled the guy back.
"You don't stand a chance in narrowness, yeah!" threaten me with my fingers pointing at his face.
I turned towards Nadya. Next to her, Eve was checking her condition, checking her pulse, and putting her ear to the girl's cheek. Eve wanted to hear the sound of breathing from Nadya's mouth and nose for sure.
"He's breathing down, Ray!we have to do CPR!!"
"Nad!!! Nadja!!!" call me out loud, make sure that the boy is completely unconscious.
"You familiar?" ask Eve.
"No." I replied as I took the time to glare at the man.
Eve was confused to hear my answer, but decided not to ask first.
"I'll call an ambulance first" he said. "Take you do CPR, Ray!"
Eve ran to the daycare for bags and other valuables.
I immediately took a kneeling position between Nadya's neck and shoulders, straightening my arms, but I had previously wanted this crowd of people to get away from us first.
"Mr, Mother, Adek-adek mas-mas and mbak-mbak please yes, retreat about 1 meter to the back! Please give us a free place so as not to breathe stuffy," hembauku.
Everyone immediately obeyed the retreating reflex, except for the man who had been with this little girl.
I swiftly undressed Nadya as necessary, placed my palm on her chest and fell on her with my other palm. Not forgetting to say bismillah before, I started doing CPR or commonly called CPR (Lung Heart Resuscitation).
In the first minute I did heart compression. Pressing Nadya's chest 5 cm deep 30 times. Then according to the procedure do it as much as approximately 100-120 times per minute, or do one or two times the pressure per minute.
There were no signs Nadya was breathing. I did the next action, artificial breathing. I gently raised Nadya's face, fixed the position of her neck, placed one of my hands on her forehead and opened her mouth. After that, I clamped his nose and gave artificial breath 2 times a gust.
There was no response from this girl. I did CPR again 30 times and gave artificial breath again continuously as a first aid cycle for someone who was having a stoppap.
In about 15 minutes I have done this CPR action to save this child, but there seems to be no sign of him breathing. I started to worry plus I started to feel tired pumping Nadya's chest continuously without stopping. But I can't give up. While the people around me who were swarming started to be noisy. Whether it was because of worrying about the fate of the child or was questioning my competence as a doctor as we confessed to them.
"Wa, how? Has the ambulance been contacted yet?" ask Eve who is now kneeling beside me while I keep pressing Nadya's chest. Sweat was pouring down my forehead and all over my face.
"Udah, Ray! They're on their way here. Hm ....But I called your Hospital, yes, I called to the Hospital he said ambulance all again dipake," replied Hawa.Certainly what he meant could not be a hospital owned by his in-laws.
"Oh, yes. It's okay, Wa!"
"You tired, Ray?" Eve wiped the sweat on my forehead with her little towel.
I'm shaking.
I almost gave up when I felt the boy's heartbeat come back. He was breathing and coughing. Water came out of his mouth and nose. However, I felt something strange from the sound of her breathing.
"He's wheezing, Ray!" Eve preceded me.
I nodded in agreement. It looks like this child is suffering from asthma or shortness of breath.
Eve helped tilt Nadya's body, so that the water coming out of her mouth did not enter again through the nose. Meanwhile, I was looking for the male figure that accompanied this girl. He must know the history of this girl's illness if indeed he was the closest person.
Whoa, where else is he? Did he run away? my inner.
But my prejudice was immediately dismissed when I saw from afar he was stirred up to us again with his bag of cuffs.
Without much ba bi bu, I to the point asked.
"He's an asthma sufferer?" my many.
"Haah? What ...." I was stunned when I realized something.
The man took something out of his bag. Write something on the paper and show it to me.
[Nadya, niece. He's short of breath]
I was flabbergasted but still handed the inheler to Eve to help Nadya relieve her breathing, although it will not help much because what Nadya needs now is oxygen. Moreover I wonder the man behaves like a person who has a speech disorder.
The man wrote again on the paper.
[I wonder why you consider me a pervert on my own lap? I took off his shirt so he could breathe easily and do CPR]
"Do you understand CPR?" I just can't believe it.
He's nodding. Then write again.
[Yes. I'm nakes too. I'm a doctor]
I laughed undercutly. "Mas, please! You don't make it up, brag you over! You can fool people including children like Nadya. You must also just pretend to stutter, right let your lewd behavior not be discovered? Obviously I saw you marching in front of the DPRD office. Wear a loud speaker once, now you pretend to be mute. Hhh .... Please deh!"
He wrote again.
[You saw the wrong person, it wasn't me, I was here]
"Then who is it? A ghost?" ketus.
I remember again. It seems they are not the same person. The distance between the DPRD office where the protest was located was not so far from this swimming pool. While Eve and I were passing by, the protest was still going on. And we just got to the pool and are still changing, this guy and Nadya are already here. It means they were here before we came.
I looked at the man's face carefully. The truth is similar!
"So that's who you are?Your twin?"
He wrote again.
[Yes, maybe. I do have a twin, she's an activist on the campus of Bhakti Nugraha University]
I must have thought that the explanation made sense because it was the campus student who was the demonstration earlier.
"Okay, makes sense. Even so I don't believe you're a doctor."
The man sighed. While the sound of siren ambulance sounds getting closer, their sign has reached this public swimming pool area.
Sure enough that came were fellow nurses at the hospital where I worked.
"The Doctor is here?" askthem.
"Yes" I answered." Please help, Mid, Mi" I said to Hamid and Fahmi.
"Ready! Doctor ma'am!" said Fahmi while putting his hands on the temple exactly like the one who pays homage to the boss.
"He needs oxygen too. You guys bring?"
"Bring donk. Was the instruction so from RS?"
"Whose doctor in the IGD is there, Mid?" I asked the quiet Hamid.
"It should be Dr. Aris, Doc! But he had a sudden business. I think his wife is giving birth to me."
I stared at Eve for a moment "Wa, I guess we don't have to be swimming first, no one takes care of IGD"
"Yes, it's okay, Ray. We can come here next week again"
"Do you want to swim alone?Responsibility, it's been coming here too. I changed clothes."
"No, I'm going home, it's not good to swim alone"
"Is it really all right? You go home by yourself, will you come with me to the hospital?"
"I'm coming home Ray, miss Yusuf"
"My love," my ledek that was greeted a bump in my head.
" Yes already. I put my bike in your house first, yeah!"
"Yes .... Don't forget to pay for the parking" joked Eve.
"OK, okay. I'm coming with you" I said to Hamid and Fahmi. "Wait for me to grab my bag at daycare first."
"And you! Follow us also from behind." tell me to the man I don't know his name yet.
