"Are you really not going to the office?" ask Marshal for the umpteenth time.
"No, Mister. I just go home. Besides, what do you work for?"
"Yes too, anyway." Marshal leaned his head against the back of the chair, glancing at Rio who was still focused on driving, "Take my wife, Yo!"
Rio looked over from the rearview. "Yes, Sir?"
"We go home first, take my wife home!"
"But we have to turn around first, sir. Doesn't matter if it's like that, there's a meeting in half an hour"
Marshal sighed, "But my wife wants to go home, she said."
Viona looked at Marshal for a moment. He was so astonished to hear the Marshal consider Viona his wife when the Marshal called her many times. And this is beyond the theatrics.
Did I not hear wrong? Wasn't I just considered a servant, but why did she always mention 'my wife' just now? Does he now consider me his wife?
"Sir, if we turn around then you'll be late for the meeting."
Marshal was breathing rough, "Well if we go straight to the office" he told Rio. "You go to the office first, yeah! I have an important meeting in half an hour, and Rio also has to accompany me. You don't want to have to come first. After the meeting, Rio will take you home."
Viona fell silent. He didn't actually want to go with the Marshal, just wanted to go home. But whatever the power, he could not possibly refute the words of Marshal, even though in his heart he had already denied even grumbling.
And finally Viona was taken to the office.
When entering the office, all employees were lined up neatly in front of the entrance. They bowed respectfully together. "Welcome, madam!" say they're in unison.
Viona glanced at the confused Marshal. Why do all employees welcome 'Miss' instead of 'Master' to Marshal?
Marshal who noticed his wife's gaze, he smiled and whispered to Viona, "They welcome you in particular."
Viona looked surprised, she looked around in confusion. Viona thinks all employees are always lined up like that every day to welcome the arrival of Marshal, but in fact it is not. Why should Viona be welcomed like that? Have they been told in advance that Viona will come until they have prepared like that? But when they were told, even Viona suddenly came to the office because she was forced to obey the words of Marshal some time ago while on the way.
Many questions raged in Viona's head. She was very confused and did not know what to do, so Viona chose silence.
"You can't tell them to stand up?" whisky Marshal.
"Huh?" Viona looked at the employees who were still on a bow, she was confused. Should it be excessive like this?
"You don't talk, they'll keep it that way."
Viona bit her lower lip, does she have to do that? He doesn't want to have that much power. "Lord is the only one who commands them. Sir's their boss, '" he whispered to the Marshal. And her husband smiled, "Answer greet them and tell them to stand up! The longer you buy time, then they will leave tomorrow, because his back is gout due to slow bending."
Viona looked at Marshal closely. Again, he asked, should he do that?
The marshal clasped Viona's hand, squeezing her firmly.
Viona berdehem's. He looked at all the employees doubtfully, and tried to smile. "Se. good morning everyone! Stand up!"
The employees stand up. There were a lot of complaints from them. There were rubbing his waist, many were also seen exhaling a sigh of relief. Viona felt bad to see it.
"Come on!" The marshal pulls Viona in, passing the employees who are exuding smiles at their new Madam.
"You can get back to work!" marshal told all his employees.
After Viona and the Marshal passed, whispers of them were heard.
"It turns out to be true, his wife's a very beautiful boss,"
"They look very harmonious... "
"Looks like Madam is very kind..."
"They are romantic until they join hands." and many more babbles admiring the new couple.
Rio opened a special elevator for the Madam and her master. Then they come in. Marshal and Viona were in front, Rio in the back.
Are they going to cross? Why keep holding hands? It's in the elevator, open the highway, inner Rio.
Rio was smiling amusedly looking at the backs of his two masters, moreover looking at their hands that went hand in hand. Rio cleared his throat, so envy looking at him.
Hearing the little deheman, Viona knew, Rio must have noticed them from behind. Viona immediately withdrew her hand, and the Marshal turned to Viona in confusion. Viona just shut up and looked down, she was afraid Marshal would ask again like this morning when Rahma's home. And he does not want to be reminded again by the phrase, 'we are husband and wife, why are you still trying to limit the closeness between us?'
The elevator doors opened, they walked in tandem to the Marshal's room.
"Wait here! If there's anything or need anything, you call me or Rio immediately. But if it's not too important, you better not call me, you just do it yourself! Can, right?" Viona nodded.
"If you want to get out, you can. But don't go far and have to come back!" Again, Viona nodded.
Marshal smile. Then snatching a file from her desk and out of the room left Viona alone.
Viona chose to sit on the blue sofa in the Marshal room. He fell silent while propping up his chin with elbows placed on his thighs. It wasn't the first time Viona had entered the room. This is the second time they've been here, and it all looks the same. Yeah, well, what's gonna change, Viona was last in the room a few days ago, before they got married. And at the same time, he saw the Marshal…
"ck, why would I even think of them. Bodo. Their relationship, what does it have to do with me?" Viona fell silent again, knocking on the glass table in front of her with a finger. Look around the room to take your mind off the relationship between Marshal and Amanda.
"Huampph..." Viona yawned, it had been fifteen minutes she had only gone silent without doing anything. Viona took the phone from her bag. She's bored. So bored. Being in the work room alone without anything done made him feel sleepy, but he switched it by checking his phone. Contacting friends and looking through other people's posts.
He looked up at the door when there was a knock. Viona was confused, should she let him in or not? This is Marshal's room and Viona doesn't have freedom there. If he allowed the person who knocked it in, would that not matter? But what if the one who entered was an important person who wanted to meet Marshal, what should he do?
The sound of knocking was heard again, now accompanied by the voice of someone Viona knew. "Miss, are you still inside?" It was Rio's voice, immediately Viona stood up and opened the door.
Rio smiled with a tray of drinks and snacks on top, "Can I come in?"
Viona looked at Rio strangely, "Why ask me? This is your room, you just come in. I have no right to forbid you," he said cuek, then he sat back on the couch lazily.
Rio shook his head to hear Viona's bad tone, then he followed Viona inside and kept the tray he was carrying on the table right in front of Viona. "Is Miss bored?"
Viona glanced at Rio at a glance, then focused on her phone. "Of course I'm bored. Very bored, though."
Rio smiled condescendingly, "Diminum, Miss! Sorry I have to go to the meeting room. If Miss needs anything, just call Maya who is in front or directly contact me," said Rio.
"Why did all the employees welcome me?"
Rio stopped his footsteps who was just about to open the door about to exit. He turned around and faced back at Viona. "Sorry Miss, but you're asking."
"The master asked? Wh-wh-what for? I'm not an important person here."
"Of course Miss is an important person, here. Mrs Marshal should be welcomed. Isn't this time Miss's arrival for the first time after bearing the title of Lord Marshal's wife? So it's only natural that they welcome Miss."
"What's it all, Rio? I don't like being treated like that." Viona turned her lips, looking at Rio in annoyance.
Rio just smiling made Viona even more annoyed at him. "I'm sorry, Miss." Rio came out of the room.
"Cih, Assistant and employer are the same. Equally annoying!"
*****
"Yes, I'll check again. You take care of it properly!"
Viona looked up at the sound of the Marshal. He looked at the door, saw Marshal there. His hand was still holding the door handle but it seemed that he was talking to Rio behind him.
"Good, sir. Later I send the file to Mr. Suryo." then Rio passed.
Marshal entered the room, closed the door and smiled at Viona. "Bored yet?" asked Marshal who then sat next to Viona.
Viona shifted her seat, she did not want to get too close to the Marshal.
Marshal looked strangely at Viona, but he who understood her with his wife's piercings smiled instead. Lately Viona has always avoided it. "What were you doing here?"
Viona shook her head, "Not doing anything, sir. Just holding the phone"
"Aren't you tired of just being quiet while holding your phone for two hours?" Viona shook her head, but her heart said 'very. I'm so tired of being here' but he didn't say it.
"Sir..."
"Yes?" Marshal stared fixedly at Viona. "what's up?"
"When can I go home?"
Next to Marshal's eyebrows raised, "You don't feel right here?" Viona nodded. "I just want to go home."
"But Rio is out. Maybe it will be a while, he delivered the files to the branch company. Maybe in about two hours he'll be back."
Viona's drowning. Did he have to wait for Rio to come back in order to go home? But it was a long time ago, and Viona already wanted to go home right now. The atmosphere of the office is very not like Viona. Then there he just kept quiet and daydreaming. Very tedious.
Before coming here, she said Rio would take me home after the meeting, but now what? Rio's not around and I have to wait for him? So sucks! inner Viona.
Marshal's cell phone rang, immediately Marshal took it out of his pants pocket. "Yes, hello Rio?"
"Hello, Master! Is Mister still in the study?"
"Yes, what's wrong? Is anyone missing?"
"No, Mister. But I just saw Miss Amanda coming. Looks like he's going to see you."
"What's? Really, Yo?"
"Yes, Sir. Barus-"
Marshal turned off his connection unilaterally. Put the phone back in your pocket.
"Wait here, don't go anywhere! I have business for a while" Marshal said before walking out of the room in a hurry.
