Subsequent to Consent

After that day of approval, Viona's life came back as usual. Heru has also been allowed to return home from the hospital because of his improved condition. And Marshal? He never met Viona again. Their last meeting was only that day. The next day they did not meet again and neither Heru nor the other families even discussed it again.

Maybe Heru and Marshal are busy to solve the company's problems, Viona thought.

While chatting while accompanying Aness to lunch, a man approached Viona and greeted her, "Good day, Miss!"

"Is Miss having lunch? I'm interrupting?"

Viona just nodded. The awkward feeling towards Marshal was still his barrier to making a lot of noise.

Breathe a sigh of relief when you know if Heru company can be overcome by Marshal. Viona is grateful because with so much fate many people can be saved and free from bankruptcy.

Digesting the Marshal's words, Viona fell silent again. Looks like Viona's freedom will be lost if she has to obey Marshal. Everything Viona had predicted before accepting the offer. It would be difficult for Viona to accept that wholeheartedly, as she had yet to truly accept the decision from the bottom of her heart. Viona put her phone back in the bag. He stared at the Marshal who was still enjoying his lunch meal. "Master, if I say goodbye to going home first, is that okay?"

Marshal raised his face to look at Viona. He took a tissue and wiped his lips for a moment. "Why really? We haven't been here long."

"I forgot to make an appointment with a friend. So, I have to go now."

"Where to go?" Marshal took the glass that was in front of him. He sips the water. Then put it back on the table. All her gestures did not escape Viona's attention.

Viona was confused if she had to say it. Did Marshal have to know all about him until asking like that? "I have to see my friend, sir."

"Yes, where to?"

"I have an appointment to go Hiking, today, sir."

Marshal looked at Viona with full view. He was quite surprised to hear Viona was going to go for a hike. "Who's the guy?"

Marshal asked too many questions when Viona was in a hurry. His friend was already waiting in the usual place and he had not prepared anything because he had forgotten if his schedule was to climb today. "My friend, sir. I'm gonna go home first, okay? It's okay, right?"

Marshal shook. "No."

Viona, who was ready to stand up, sat back down and glanced at Marshal asking for an explanation for his ban. "Why, Sir? I've been in a hurry. I have to go now. My friend is waiting."

"I told you 'No'. So, you're not allowed to leave."

Viona was overwhelmed by the words of the Marshal. Who did Marshal forbid it like that? Viona had been waiting for her friends but the Marshal instead kept her from leaving. He really did not understand the mind of Marshal. "Why can't you, sir? Do we have any more business? I really need to go now."

Marshal looked at Viona sharply. She doesn't like to be denied and now Viona is denying it. "I said no, yes, no. You just stay here. How important is it to go up that hike, until you're so eager to go?"

Viona's annoyance began to creep in when the Marshal began to set it up like that. She doesn't like it when someone else takes care of her life. Viona doesn't understand why the Marshal banned her like this. "Sorry, Sir. But, I have to go. Excuse me." Viona moved from her seat ignoring the already emotional Marshal.
