"What woman do you think will allow her lover to marry? Wh who? Is there anyone out there willing the man he loves the most to marry another woman, in front of his own eyes?"
The palm covering his face slowly opened. Marshal clenched his hands firmly withstanding the pain in the chest. He was so powerless to see Amanda's face teary-eyed as it is today.
"Since the beginning of your marriage, I've been anxious. I have no hope anymore. And it turns out, everything I'm worried about is happening. Slowly but surely, your change is felt, Marshal. You started to move away, and instead you cared about her more and more and started avoiding me because of her."
Amanda covered her face with her palm. His head shook slowly withstanding the pain the longer he felt the more tight he felt. Her crying was more bitter. He was almost crazy to think about this alone. When the Marshal avoided him, he was furious. But, Marshal still did not return close to him. Once he comes, he even makes Amanda's emotions become more by defending his wife who is very much Amanda hates.
With eyes closed tightly, the forehead of Marshal until seen frowning pain. Marshal can't see Amanda like she does today. His mind again fought with what he should have done. He knew he had to be decisive, but it was hard to do.
The cry that sounded like a buzz in his ear made Marshal even more unable to control his feelings. Amanda cried loudly with the words that came out the more sick Marshal felt. There was a tinge of disappointment, anger and heartache from what Amanda said. Marshal could not see it.
He hasn't said what he should have said, but Amanda already looks so inflamed. Especially if Marshal has said to break the relationship between them. Marshal couldn't imagine what Amanda would do to vaporize it.
"Manda?" call the Marshal gently, grabbing his shaken shoulders. "I-" Again could only sigh deeply as Amanda turned around and directly gulped her body tightly.
Amanda's cries are breaking even more. His hands clenched banging on the chest of Marshal who was still silent stiff. All the feelings that had been hidden, Amanda poured out on the Marshal. What she dislikes about Viona is also what she says.
"You're only mine, Marshal! Only mine!" Amanda was not stopping beating her lover's chest.
The marshal held his hand and began to return Amanda's embrace. The mixed feelings he felt saw Amanda who did not stop her crying. If it had been like this, Marshal was not sure he could tell his initial intentions now.
What's he supposed to do? Should she say it now, at a time when Amanda even looks so emotional? But, if he didn't say it now, what about the trust Viona had given him? Viona was waiting for him in the car, waiting for the decision Marshal took to come up with a firmness that could be at stake.
Viona is testing it. Marshal knew that. He realized. Viona deliberately does not want to accompany her to meet Amanda because she wants to see the seriousness of Marshal to her speech. Viona did it because she did not see the earnestness and confidence of what her husband would do. And all that is now even a concern for Marshal. It was a heavy burden for him to complete.
While at this time, the woman who was testing it was laughing amusedly at her husband's assistant who had just lost a game with her.
"Mrs cheating. It should be me who wins," Rio protested again. He sat in the driver's seat, holding the phone sideways slightly towards the back at Viona.
"Where am I cheating. You're the one who doesn't play." Viona laughed again looking at Rio who instead snorted in annoyance. Twice playing, always Viona who is. Whether Rio relented or he was indeed not a truce, Viona did not care, the important thing was that victory was on her side.
"Yok, play again! Who knows, this time you won." Viona is ready with her phone again.
Rio glanced at her for a moment, then looked at the screen of his new phone. It's a new phone. His old cell phone's been destroyed thrown by the Marshal. The mobile phone is now a form of compensation from his employer. I don't know how many times Marshal changed Rio's phone due to the damage he did.
"Em .. sorry, ma'am, I have an important message from GM. So, can't play anymore."
Viona sneered, "Here, just say fear of losing again. You have many reasons. Come on, play again, mumpung mister has not come. If it's in a house where we can be like this. You always shadow me."
Marshal's assistant even scratched his head that did not itch. He was also astonished at Viona who even looked ordinary. Her husband met Amanda. Funnier. Rio felt his master was very different from the other couple. Marshal meets his lover in between by his own wife. Viona didn't even bother about it at all. With his leisure, he instead invited Rio to play the game while laughing lightly as if his life did not have a burden.
Viona is just about to restart the game. He glanced at Rio for a moment and focused back on his phone screen. "He's grown up, Yo. He has a healthy mind. He should know what he should and should not do. I don't have to worry about it."
"But, what if sir ...."
"That's his business. I just want to see how serious he is about his words." Mood Viona to play the game suddenly disappeared because Rio did not want to play with her anymore and instead asked a lot. Viona kept the phone next to her. "Partially, I was surprised at him .. should, if he wasn't sure he could, why should he try it now? I see he's not willing or somehow, I don't know either." Viona flicked her shoulders indifferently.
Rio was speechless looking at his master who was also speechless. What happened to his employer was very confusing. But, Rio was also worried about the Marshal. He was afraid that his master had not succeeded in doing what he should have done.
"I heard Amanda had a history of major depression, huh?"
Rio's dumbfounded. "Where does the madam know?"
Nonchalantly, Viona took back the phone and opened the screen. "Master said."
Rio nodded his head. The atmosphere in the car was silent again. The basement feels very quiet. There were only a few cars parked there, including the car they were currently riding in.
"Didn't the Madam intend to catch up with you?"
Viona turned her eyes away from the phone screen, looking at Rio. "For what?"
"Yes ..," Rio scratched his forehead with the tip of his index finger. "as the master said earlier, to be the reinforcement of the master when saying so that the master can be firm."
Viona instead clucked and returned engrossed with her phone. "If I were there, it wouldn't change anything. The decision is in his hands. Whether or not there was me, if he had been unanimous in his decision, he would have been able to say it correctly. But I'm not sure that's gonna happen. You must not have done it."
Rio nodded his head again. What Viona said could indeed be used as a harmonious thought. And Rio felt that way too. He knows very well how Marshal and Amanda are. Rio was also convinced, the obstacle must be from Amanda who will not accept the decision from her lover.
"That's it, don't think of them!"
Rio regained his senses from the daydream. Viona was already shaking again the phone in front of her. His eyebrows had even gone up and down with his ignorant smile.
"Main again, I did! If you win, I'll make you Japanese. Especially for Rio. How's it?"
The man who had just lost to him shook his head while smiling amusedly. This was what he liked about Viona's attitude. This one employer can always be warm like a friend.
"Ck, come! Don't think about it, sir! He was missing his girlfriend. Forget about it, forget about him! Better quickly login again, while waiting for the master to return. Than we die of boredom here."
Rio was agape at the words that seemed so relaxed it was spoken from Viona's mouth. Why is there a wife who is too calm like this when her husband is meeting his lover?
