Because of the compulsion

Because of the compulsion
Can I be a mother, Chal?

"The boy's a gift, honey. The most precious deposit." The marshal rubbed Viona's hand coiled around her stomach, even the tablet of concern, he had left behind. "A mother must love her child very much. That's instinctive. All mothers will do the same as Garmita did."

Viona was silent, still leaning her head on the chest of the Marshal. His head looked up, feeling a gentle swab at the top of his head. She saw the warm smile her husband gave her. Viona was just silent.

"The child is a baby, the result of love from a partner who is worthy to have it. They are created to be loved, get attention and be the successor to a generation that needs a lot of upbringing. All parents want to do their best for their children. So does a mother who always gives her time and attention. Like Garmita to her cute child. You saw it for yourself, too, right."

Viona nodded her head slowly. His hand rubbed the waist of the Marshal gently, he looked up. "Can I be a mother, Chal?"

"Of course, honey." Marshal smiled warmly. "It can, if God allows it. Why are you suddenly asking like that, hm?"

Viona shook her head slowly, leaning back on the chest of her husband's field that always felt comfortable. They were silent to each other and dissolved in thoughts that were either grounded to where.

How the attention and affection that Garmita showed earlier, made Viona was filled and kept thinking. Garmita is the perfect woman. She has a beautiful face, is young and has a very good career. It was unexpected that she had a very tender and loving maternal side. A little bit of it makes Viona not believe, if Garmita can do her role as perfect as that.

Then, what about her? She is currently a wife who has just finished her studies. She had no plans to do any work yet and also had nothing else to pay attention to, other than her husband. Maybe over time this role will be boring. But, there was nothing she could do after being a good wife and sitting quietly at home.

"Chal."

"Hm?"

"After graduation, can I continue my education?"

"No!"

Viona woke up. She looked at her husband in surprise and disbelief. "Why?"

"You're married, why do you still want to go to school? Wouldn't it be better to take care of your husband?"

"Chal ...." Viona scowled not like it. How could Marshal's thinking possibly be that shallow. Though there is still a lot that Viona wants to achieve in her life, not all about being a wife. She wants to go to high school and pursue her own career like most of the great women out there. She wants to be a cool woman.

"The discussion is closed, madam. It's night. I don't want to argue." Seeing the unacceptable glint on Viona's face, Marshal knew what his wife was thinking. It is better to end the conversation, if you do not want this problem to be a trigger for debate between them. "Sleep! It's night." It's night."

Viona refused the Marshal's invitation. She brushed off the hand of her husband who was trying to reach out to lie down immediately. A disappointed and unaccepting look was clearly on his face. But, Marshal seemed to be unconcerned and instead lay on his back. Marshal closed the discussion as if asserting, that Viona could no longer make a sound. A clear ban was placed so that Viona did not comply with her wishes and was more concerned with her current role.

"Aren't you promising to guarantee my education? Whereabouts? Why can't you?"

Marshal chose silence, pretending to sleep. Letting Viona look at her back, there might have started to be anger in her chest. It's not that he doesn't want to guarantee Viona's education. He's capable. He can do that. Marshal could also understand his wife's wishes. And he also believes Viona can do two things at once. Continuing school and becoming a wife. But that's not what Marshal wants.

At that moment Marshal turned his body, surprised. Viona looked serious about her words. It's very surprising. "Can't!"

"Why?" Viona returned a sharp gaze that unsheathed from her husband's eyes. He doesn't care.

"I want us to have a child soon. If you go to school again, what? I always try to understand you who still want to delay. But, if postponed by reason of going to school again .. will I allow? Too long!"

Viona was silent, clenching both lips tightly. The eyes of the Marshal were gleaming furiously now. The young master moved to get up, faced with Viona who was only speechless in mixed feelings.

"I think you're talking about Garmita because she's interested in being a mother. So why even graze into the problem of education?"

Viona was silent, playing the fingers on the lap, looking down.

"I won't mind your desire for school. I-i can. I am able to send you to the degree of perfection, wherever you want. But that doesn't mean I'll allow it. You're my wife, can't you understand what I want?"

"You also never understood what I wanted, Chal," muttered Viona, not daring to raise her face. He could surmise the expression of the Marshal was extremely frightening this time around. Just hearing her voice, Viona was already unwilling to fight back, actually. If Marshal had already discussed the matter of the child, everything would have gone awry. This discussion is quite sensitive.

"Stop discussing this issue and think about your role. That's enough."

"But, I'm-good." Viona let out a huffed breath, relented. Marshal's gaze was very sharp, so obvious if he did not like what Viona said.

The marshal lay back down and asked Viona to do the same. Viona was silent looking at the ceiling of the room in the radiance. Glanced sideways at the Marshal who turned his back. No hugs before bed, no kisses good night. Marshal looked very angry this time.

"Chal."

There's no answer. The man chose silence, letting his wife be in an erratic feeling. Though Viona just asked, not expecting Marshal will end up wrathful. She wants to be a cool woman, but Marshal doesn't seem to be allowing it. Marshal doesn't seem to want to talk to him anymore.

"Chal ...." Viona hugged him from behind, not getting any response. "Sorry." I don't know what the apology was for, he just felt the need to say it.

Marshal still did not respond and chose to close his eyes, allowing Viona to become more and more raging with his feelings. Viona was confused, what if Marshal stays like this until tomorrow morning? She couldn't face her husband, if it was like this.

And it's true. Marshal's night was indifferent, not even willing to hug Viona for a moment. Only Viona tried to get closer, Marshal seemed to be a lot silent. Waking up to sleep is the same. There was no warm welcome as usual. There was no good morning kiss and only mute back to accompany them together.

"Dear." Viona saw Marshal had already opened her eyes, but had yet to get out of bed. Just daydreaming, after seeing the phone he picked up on the nightstand. "Kok's mad, anyway?"

Marshal was still silent letting Viona seduce as she pleased. Viona seemed frustrated, all night became unsettled because of the words of Marshal. He thought about stopping the pills and starting a program so that the Marshal would no longer be sensitive. But is she capable of being a mother? The doubt was back in his mind.
