"How dare you go without my permission, your father's company will be destroyed."
Viona's steps came to a halt instantly as the Marshal's warning echoed. He turned his body facing Marshal sharply. "Why did you forbid me to go? What right does your master have to rule my life?"
Already upset because he was in a hurry, but he had to face Marshal who he thought was starting to overdo it. Though previously Marshal had never been so excessive on Viona. Never forbid, give a hard tone never. The man was always nice to her. But, why would a different Marshal today even dare to threaten him?
"What's? Sit back! I won't let you go."
Viona's hands clenched up against the Marshal's haughty nature. He did not expect that Marshal would act that thick. "I have to go, Sir. I-"
"So, go!" The marshal flicked his hand with a face that looked extremely haughty.
Let's see, will Viona obey him or even keep stepping away regardless of his warning?
Viona turns back and steps away after Marshal tells her to leave. However, just as he was holding the doorknob, his steps came to a halt as the voice of the Marshal came back,
"Go! Then your father's company will also go." Marshal could not believe that Viona was still stepping away not heeding him.
Viona's hands clenched in the air. His teeth tightened with fury. He immediately turned back around. "Master threatened me?"
With a casual Marshal just smiled obliquely. "Threat or notification, my words you must understand." Viona fell silent with indignation. Looked at Marshal sharply. "I told you earlier, your father's company will be fine if you obey me."
"What right does the Lord forbid me? The offer has nothing to do with my freedom of life, sir. So, Master has no right to organize my life that way." It's Viona's patience. He was getting annoyed at the Marshal because his mind was already fixed on his waiting companions.
"Obviously your life is now my business. I'm free to rule your life because you're my future wife. So, obey me!"
Viona walked closer to the Marshal. In the room there were only the two of them so that one sounded then the frequency would be heard echoing.
"Master said, You can manage my life because I'm a future wife, sir?" Viona smiled smirk.
"BA-RU-CA-LON!" he said right in front of the Marshal. "and, sir have arranged my life like that? You shouldn't have done all that to me. My life, why do you forbid it? Who you are sa-"
"Don't argue with me!" snapped Marshal. Her emotions had already peaked seeing Viona's attitude which turned out to be far from her expectations. He did not expect that Viona would dare to refute Marshal's remarks so easily.
Viona's ruffled waist. Replying to the sharp gaze of Marshal with a spotlight that is no less sharp. "Why? Why can't I argue with your words? Is it because I'm your future wife?" Marshal was silent as much as possible. Even though his emotions have reached the crown. "NEW CANDIDATE, SIR! So, Master has no right to manage my life to that extent. Sorry, if I'm not polite. But, I have to go."
The marshal kicked the table so hard that Viona, who was about to turn around, was aghast. "Dare to go, you?" Marshal stood up from his seat. "Have forgotten our deal? Did you forget your agreement a while ago? If there wasn't me, what would you do with that company? Maybe now you're going to declare bankruptcy, right?" Marshal smiled obliquely looking at Viona's stiffened body.
For a long time they looked at each other. Viona was only able to fall silent when she realized that her attitude had gone too far towards Marshal. He forgot that his father's company now hangs from the hands of the Marshal. Then what should he do? His friends must have been waiting. But, Viona couldn't have left if Marshal had behaved like this. His family's fate is in the hands of Marshal. Viona was not free in deciding her will anymore.
Looking at Viona who was only speechless with a slightly softened gaze, the inner Marshal laughed happily. She felt Viona would not be able to dodge if reminded of the fate of her family. And it was very profitable for the Marshal who wanted Viona to be able to obey him.
"Why just stay there? Not going to?" marshal's asking sounds like a prick. Viona remained silent. His hands clenched beside his thighs but he could not act.
"If you don't go, come here! Sit back with me!"
Viona remained silent where she stood. His feelings grew increasingly anxious when his brain told him to go to see his friends, but his heart said not to go and follow the words of Marshal for the sake of his family.
Viona's mind raged so much that she simply fell silent looking at the Marshal who also did not take her eyes off Viona. They looked at each other making the atmosphere of the room feel gripping.
Amidst the silence between the two humans, the ringing of the cell phone so loud distracted them.
Viona opened the bag and took her phone. His friend's name is there. He was confused to lift it. Glancing at Marshal at a glance, he noticed again the screen of the phone that still displayed the same caller.
As if knowing with Viona's mind, Marshal again sat down with a gaze endlessly shifting from the face of his future wife who looked confused. "Why not get caught?" He knew that the one who called Viona must have been the one who told him that they were going to climb.
With doubt Viona accepted the call. He kept the phone away from his ears as the friend nagged long because he was the one who did not come.
After it was thought that her friend would not nag again, Viona brought her phone back to her ear. "Sorry, I'm not leaving, Na." Not waiting for the authorization, Viona immediately pocketed her phone back.
Marshal smirked in satisfaction at hearing Viona's words. "Come here! You're not leaving, are you?"
Viona rolled her eyeballs, pushy. Just know like this, his freedom is blocked, especially if he is married. To breathe alone maybe Viona should have rules.
"Why just shut up? Comehere!"
Viona is forced to sit back with the Marshal. Although not willing, but must obey, right? Inevitably Viona must follow all the words of the Marshal and bury all her ego to revolt. There was no point in him avoiding or denying. The future of his family is already within the grasp of Marshal.
So that all day he must be willing to sacrifice his time to accompany Marshal. Starting from lunch to meet and talk to business partners who Viona does not recognize at all.
Forced. Yes, everything he did was out of compulsion. If it wasn't for his family, not for the fate of his father's company, he wouldn't have been willing to do all that.
