When I woke up, the room became darker than before, because there were no more stars on the wall that lit up the room. I rubbed my eyes and realized that the moon had appeared outside the window.

"Ugh." I sat up and scratched my head. After my life was collected, I only realized that my sleep was quite sound.

Thank goodness I didn't dream anything, my heart. Yeah, I started hating the dream world after everything I've been through. Because it is the cause of my life problems, as well as the thing that distinguishes me from ordinary humans.

I didn't want that ability, and hoped that one day I could destroy it.

I saw someone sleeping on the table. Chrys didn't wake me up and let me sleep in his bed.

He is still asleep, I thought on my tiptoes. The starlight should be dim, for the creator is resting.

I was about to pick up the book that was nearby, when suddenly his head looked up. As fast as lightning, my wrist was gripped by him and held onto the back of my back. After that, I got hit by a desk. His yellow light spread throughout the room.

"Claras?" Upon awakening to his actions, Chrys slowly let go of me. "I thought it was someone else."

"Ughhh!" I grimaced in pain and rubbed my face. "Has this become your habit?"

"Yes" he replied, shaking his head. "I'm still not used to the presence of other people in my house."

"Do you have no friends?"

"Friends? Is that a friend?" He grabbed the towel hanging on the wall, then looked at me. "I don't need friends." After that, he went to the bathroom and locked the door.

Since I didn't know what to do, I ended up lying in his bed again. While pulling the blanket and posing like a fetus in the womb, I tried to think.

That guy lives alone. I've never seen him with any other Fae. Unlike the three Fae Ventus who used to be my friends. They even had a group, with the Chairman being Zeyn. As for Chrys, I have never seen him mingle with another Fae.

I remember when I was held in a boat. The three children who caught me instantly felt terrified when Chrys appeared. It seems like everyone here hates him.

"Aren't you in the shower?"

I gasped and immediately sat up. But I didn't see it.

"I was changing clothes, naturally I made myself invisible," he said again. "Quick shower. I want to take you out."

There was a slow sound of laughter, and then Chrys spoke again. "There's no time limit for going out, right?"

After I finished cleaning myself, I found Chrys who had changed clothes. He was wearing leather gloves, while his sword hung on his waist.

Oh, naw. Would he want to take me to practice again?

"Night is the right time to train" he told me as we were already outside. The night wind blew, making my brown hair fly. Luckily I was wearing a thick hoodie, so my body wouldn't shiver.

I could feel his eyes towards me. "Don't put your head down."

I immediately raised my head. Chrys's words are right. Ever since Kei told me to hide myself, I became in a habit of hiding my face under the hood of my jacket.

"Just calm. This area is rarely passed by Fae, so you'll be safe" Chrys said.

"Who said? What about the boys I met a few days earlier?"

"They just happened to pass by. This area of the forest was actually off limits to the Fae."

I turned to him, watching the end of his hair fly. He seemed to dissolve in his mind and was too focused on carrying the path. But he seems to know I'm looking at him.

"So you're staying here on purpose" I muttered, taking a look off his face. "Is this because everyone hates you?"

"Hate me?" He laughed without a sense of humor. "Yes. They don't even hesitate to kill me if I meet them."

Why do I feel sorry for him? I shouldn't have thought that way. There must be a reason everyone hates him.

"It's over." Chrys stopped his move. I spread my gaze around and realized that this is an area of forest that is not overgrown with trees, aka open space.

"I usually practice here." He threw a sword at me. This time I caught him.

"Good," he said again with a grin. "Let's start the exercise."
