Chrys shook his hand. He had never been touched by a human before. It does not yet have a clear picture of what human nature is. Based on the knowledge taught by his people, humans are only selfish and greedy creatures. No one ever mentioned that they were helpful and kind.
Chrys ignored the woman and immediately barged into his house. But because of the traces of his blood droplets, he would definitely be caught soon.
There's no other way. Chrys took a breath, and concentrated all of his energy. Finally a yellow light was created from his hand, hiding his tracks for a moment.
The woman was dazed. Clearly he was astonished to see the light that was out of nowhere.
"Sir! Where's You?! Don't just break into my house!"
Fortunately the lighting in the house was not lit. Thanks to his sharper eyesight as a Fae, he could easily hide among the pile of items. This little house still has a place to hide.
"Sir. I know you're there."
Chrys held his breath. The old grandmother could not see him, but could feel his presence. When he was certain he would soon be caught, the sound of crying broke out, breaking the grandmother's focus.
"Claras? Clara!" The grandmother ran in the opposite direction. Chrys frowned. Whoever Clara is, she's been helping him.
But Chrys is still hiding in his hideout. He glanced at the large window beside him. The storm grew fiercer, but he still saw the two shadowy figures.
"How's Clara doing?" Said the man. Chrys pecked, unsure if his ears were functioning properly. That was Zeyn's voice.
What are they doing? Peeping through the window? And since when is Zeyn interested in humans?
"Bad, as always." Reply to the other who turned out to be a woman. "Zeyn. I can take care of it. You return. Soon everyone will be looking for you."
"What do you mean, Clora?"
Chrys put up his ears, but the cry of the little girl across the room bothered him instead.
"Prince Dexter and his fiancee will soon be married in the Spring Garden. You're the Ventus Chief. They'll be looking for you if you disappear."
"You're right, Clora." After that, the man flew away leaving her.
The girl named Clora exhaled. But just as he was about to turn around, his eyes widened as he looked at Chrys who was hiding.
Damnit. Chrys didn't give him a second chance. He blew out the light from within him, making the entire house rowdy because of the bright light that suddenly appeared. He could hear the sound of stomping the feet of several people, some of whom were large-bodied men.
Excuse me. Chrys knows. Thanks to his magic, the humans woke up. He had to do this so that Clora could not see him.
The girl's whining is getting worse. Chrys can't hold it anymore. Finally he came out of his hiding place.
"Move him. Now." Now." The woman ordered the two men. Chrys took another breath, and used his magic to make himself invisible.
He saw the little girl. His face turned red, and he was struggling. His heart immediately felt pity. He knew it was his fault, because his magic had hurt him.
The girl was seriously injured. No, rather, there was a wound on the part of his head due to the yellow light.
"No." Chrys involuntarily shed tears. "I'm sorry, Clara. Forgive a-"
"Hurry, you!" Her grandmother was panicking. "My grandson is hurt! Bring the medicine!"
For hours they did that. Chrys still continued to pay attention to the little girl. He was busy muttering to himself. He must be in shock and unable to process what these people are doing.
"Call the doctor."
"But, Mum. It's midnight, and the snowstorm is still-"
"Tell me, get a doctor!"
"Ba-good!" One of the men immediately ran over, even passing Chrys who was currently standing at the end of the room.
"Clara, what's wrong with you?" The grandmother now wiped the little girl's forehead that was soaked in sweat. "I know you love to dream, but that was..."
"So something strange" said another man. "What light was that?! Lightning-was?! We're lucky we didn't get hurt, but Clara's head is bleeding now!"
"It's still treatable," the Grandma replied calmly. "But look at his condition now-"
"I know, Mom," cut the man off. "I can see the wound on his head."
"That's not what I mean." The grandmother looked at the man sharply. "He was muttering to himself. The sweat doesn't even stop coming out. Is my grandson going crazy?"
Chrys's body suddenly felt weak. He has used too much magic. Now the light is dimming.
"No. Don't let them see me" he whispered to himself. I need to get out.
"Chrys." The whisper of the girl. "Don't leave me."
"Clara?! Are you aware?" The grandmother hugged her grandson. "Wake, boy! Grandma is really worried about you!"
He turned around, then used the help of a wall to stand up. He saw that girl. Brown curly haired girl with cute face.
"Faes." The girl lying on the bed saw him. He smiled, not caring about his own grandmother who was worried about his condition.
Chrys did not understand his own feelings at the time. His heart was pounding incoherently. Just this time someone called out to him gently, without any element of hatred or disgust.
He was smiling too. "Hello, girl."
