Ch.21 - Escape

"Clar." He gripped my hand. In his eyes was now a fear. I've never seen him like that.

"Take your friend out of here as soon as possible."

Whatdoes thatmean? I was about to ask her, but the girl again muttered strangely.

Brak! The door suddenly opened violently. The Ventus man immediately pulled my hand away from Clora.

"Are you okay?" He turned my head around, making me even more annoyed.

He widened his eyes as I shook his hand. "Can you, Zeyn? I'm not a little kid who has 24 hours to watch."

His face became flat, but I could see his pulse muscles. "Of course I should. Did you forget that you were mine?"

Then he hugged me. He must have done this on purpose in front of Clora.

I hurriedly pushed his body, but his arms were too strong. "Le..pas.kan.aku Zeyn!"

"No!" A second later, his lips had landed hard on my lips. I don't like to be treated like this, so I do the same thing every time I'm forced to make out with men.

"Akh!" I kicked his genitals, biting his lower lip. No delay in time, I've run outside the room, to Jon's room.

Braak!

"Who's there?!"

"Jon! Come on, let's get out of here!" I wrapped her arms around my neck, then pulled her to stand up. My friend looked very surprised, but I still did not let go.

"Because"

"Don't ask too many questions! This place is dangerous!" As we were already at the doorway, Zeyn's figure suddenly appeared before me.

"Where are you going?" He still looked in pain, but that did not prevent him from opening his palm and pointing it at me.

He was about to attack us with his magic.

"Wherever you come from, not with you" I said to stretch out time.

He looks furious. His pupils dilated and he moved his hands quickly.

Bruuk!

"Geeh!" I'm yelling. My bones felt like they were falling, and I was unable to get up. My body was lying on the floor, and Jon was separated from me.

"What do you want?!" Jeritku. He stomped his feet hard, and raised my chin.

"One thing is you." He took my kiss back, but I looked away. It provoked his emotions, so he slapped me in the face.

I caught the movement from the corner of my eye. Jon had already raised the seat that was nearby, then threw it towards Zeyn.

"How dare you!" Zeyn hit him back against the wall. The sound produced is very loud. I'm afraid Jon could do anything.

"Zeyn! Please, don't hurt him!"

"Or what?!" He's still holding my wrist. "He's just a human being, Clara."

I laughed softly. "Then what am I? Why don't you kill me too?"

"Because I love you."

"Lied!" Shouted again.

"liying?" He grinned, making my hair go up. I've never seen such a side of him.

"You humans need a confession of love? Need proof that I really love you?"

He stood up. "Then I have the proof. All this. I did it for you."

"All what?!"

He couldn't get back at me because someone attacked him with his magic. Kei.

"I can't believe you did this to them" he whispered. "Even though you're my Ketu, I still don't hesitate to attack you for hurting my friend."

Zeyn laughed loudly. He calmly walked towards her. "I should have known your interest in humans. You seem to be very loyal to them, aren't you? Should I tell you that humans are just trash?"

"Shut up!" Kei attacked him again. This time Zeyn was able to escape. His body was like doing a nimble dance, then he knew he was right in front of the girl and grabbed her by the neck.

"Zeyn, don't do this!" I took great pains to stand up. "I won't leave here if you let go of my friends!"

Zeyn's hand immediately slipped from Kei's neck. The girl fell to her knees, while stabilizing her breathing.

"Don't, Clara," said Jon from across the room. "Huh! I should have believed my gut feeling that he meant evil."

"How can I trust your words?" Zeyn approached me, then looked at me guiltlessly.

"You can do anything to me" I whispered, trembling. "You are free to do anything. You can me.ngunciku. You can watch me. It's just, there's a condition."

"Tell me."

"Let Jon go back to the human city."

"Clar!" Jon tried to get close to me, but Zeyn blocked him with his magic.

"That's all?" Zeyn asked while grunting. "OKAY. But you need to remember, that hereafter forever, you are mine."

I'm speechless. My stomach was instantly nauseated as soon as I remembered what we had done in the Sea of Life. How stupid of me to trust a man like Zeyn.

"You, the human male is returning to human territory" Zeyn orders Kei. The girl complied and said nothing.

"Don't touch me!" Jon thrashing. "Clarah! What are you doing now?!"

"Of course it's breathing, stupid," I told him. Tears started coming out, wetting my cheeks. I looked into Jon's eyes for the last time. Eyes that I once admired. Eyes that are now decorated by the color of Ventus ash.

"Take good care of Stef, Jon," I whispered. "And forget me."

Because it's another exam week, so updates are likely to be longer than usual well
