After I returned to my room, I could not fall asleep. Zeyn's words were ringing in my head. The Spring Festival. A small human who had briefly entered Fae territory.
Maybe it was another human. Why just accuse me? I pulled out a warm blanket and hid my head in it, but I instead thought about my past. I try to remember my dreams. Vaguely, but I couldn't reach it. I really forgot.
I finally decided to visit Jon in his room and clear my head.
The sound of the door making me panic for a moment. I looked back and forth, and luckily I saw no one. Finally I closed the door slowly and smiled as I saw Jon still asleep.
The man still closed his eyes. I touched her warm forehead, then clasped her hand. I miss listening to her voice every night. When I suddenly woke up in a state of panic, he was always there and calmed me down.
Could it be that everything the Fae had said was true? That I can see the future through dreams? Can I go anywhere through my dreams? Can I do all that?
There's only one way to find out. So I lay down next to Jon, and hugged him. I forced myself to fall asleep, and in the end, I could feel my breathing begin to slow down as well as my body relaxing.
I was in a place, a flower bed of colorful colors. The breeze made my face slapped by my long hair. I didn't recognize this place, but I knew I was dreaming.
I took a step, past the little flowers I stepped on with my bare feet. In the blink of an eye, this place changed. The lined huts suddenly appeared. Many Fae were passing by. I took my chance and touched the arm of a Fae.
"Aah!" Fae looked at me. "Be careful if you walk!" He didn't pay much attention to me, and continued to walk away.
I looked at my hand that just touched that Fae. I can't trust him. How can I touch them when I am in a dream?
I'm shaking. Maybe I should try it again. Then I walked back, but my eyes were focused on the silhouette of a Fae who was at the end of the road. His body shape looks familiar. It was the same Fae I saw in the news photo back then.
"Stop!" Shouted, then chased after him. However, he suddenly disappeared into the crowd. I pushed anyone who was blocking me, not paying attention to the warnings from the other Fae.
Why would I see that Fae? Who the hell is he? I didn't get to see the color of his wings because he was gone.
My head suddenly felt dizzy. Ears buzzing. I held my head down which felt like it was going to explode. My body feels torn to shreds. My throat couldn't make my screams because I was back in the real world.
"Clar!" I opened my eyes, and immediately got out of bed, but my hand was held back by someone. I looked up and found Jon. "Are you okay?"
Jon scooped both of my cheeks with his hands still warm. "You're sweating" he whispered. He then took one of the small towels that had been prepared by Fae Healer, and wiped my sweat.
My head was still dizzy, but I hid my pain. I forced a smile and said, "You're finally awake."
"of course! I-" His words came to a halt when he realized he wasn't in his own room. "Where is this?!" He hurriedly got up from the bed, and grimaced in pain as the wound on his stomach had not fully healed.
"Slow down, Jon." I helped him stand up. "You're still hurt."
"Clara, where is this?" At the same time, that Fae Healer entered the room. He looked surprised when he saw Jon who was awake. "You're still not recovered! Don't stand up yet!" He immediately creates a white light to calm Jon's wounds, but it will only make Jon more panic.
Jon yelled, then pulled my body back. "What the fuck?! Who are you?!"
"Jon, calm down" I tried to explain to him, but it seemed that my friend was not listening to me. "I asked, who are you?!"
"Fae Healer's. My name is Sana" said the woman gently. His light had faded, and he raised his hand to calm Jon down. "I'll cure you."
Jon held my hand tighter and tighter as he looked at the wings that had arisen behind his back. "What the hell"
"They're Fae, Jon. They're real." I said calmly. "It's okay, Jon. Besides, you've seen Fae before."
"They?!" Jon was still watching over Fae Healer. "How many more strange creatures are there?!"
Jon looked at me. "I just want to go home. And I don't want to ask you for an explanation." That sentence stuck to my heart. It felt like Jon no longer trusted me. "I want to hear this woman's explanation."
I let out a breath. "okay, Jon. Do as you please. But I want you to rest first. You're still not recovered." I pulled Jon's hand, led him to the bed. He just kept quiet and let me cover him. Fae Healer muttered, "I'll be back later." After that he went out of the room.
Silence struck us, and the sound of the clock ticking was the only sound heard at night. Jon closed his eyes, still clasping tightly to my hand. "Don't leave me."
I smile. "Of course not." I lay down beside him. It felt like I had inhaled a scent of his body this close. I buried my head in his arms, feeling his chest move every time he breathed.
"How long have I been asleep?" Whisper Jon in my ear. She stroked my hair as usual. "It's been a long time since I hugged you."
I moved away a little so I could look at her face. The face I longed for, the face that always accompanied me in distress. "Umm...two days? I don't know." I touched her cheek gently. He grabbed my ear, made me hit his chest hard. "Aw!"
I gasped and remembered that the wound had not fully recovered. "Sorry! Sorry!" Fortunately, he laughed again. "Eat him don't forget." He hugged me tighter, and put one of his legs to lock my body. My cheeks are heating up when I'm used to this attitude. "Clara," he called me softly. "Clar."
"What?" I asked, but his eyeballs suddenly looked at me fixedly. He tilted his head a little, then stole a kiss from my lips.
I groaned, feeling every touch of his hand on my body. Her lips were soft as well as warm. He kissed me slowly. It felt like he wanted to eat my little lips.
Over time, our kisses became more intense, and a deep sense of longing began to explode from within me. I was no longer sleepy, and regained my full consciousness as my hand escaped and slipped into her thin shirt.
Sweatiness.
"Jon" I whispered, but he was still playing on my lips and my sensitive areas. "Jon," call me again. His eyes were still half closed, but he finally let go of his lips. "Hmm?"
"You're sweating." I pushed her body so that she fell into the bed. Jon still wrapped his hands around my waist. "I think you should rest."
He hugged me tighter and tighter. "I want you. Tonight."
Me too, I said in my heart. There's nothing I want more from you. But I knew it wouldn't happen tonight. "You need to rest. I don't want to see you like this."
Jon did not comply. His fingers began to point at the buttons of my shirt. He was about to strike my lips again when I brushed him off. Jon hurriedly held my wrist. "I'm cured, Clara."
"You haven't." I got out of bed. "I'll be with you, but I want you to fall asleep." I stood still for a moment, looking at this man in front of me. How deeply I want it, I know we can't do this. Jon's body was weak.
"Then go." I looked at him in disbelief. "What do you mean"
"You don't love me anymore, do you?" Jon didn't look me in the eye. He closed his eyes, putting his hands behind his head. "I know how you feel, Clara. You're just crazy about that strange creature you call Fae."
"I'm not crazy about them!"
"Oh yeah?" Jon laughed a little. "Don't lie. You whispered their names in your dreams."
"I never-"
"Then let's say that this isn't true!" Jon was screaming. "Say that that wasn't Fae! That strange light I saw was just a flashlight! Say that to me!"
I'm speechless. Jon now looked at me with anger. Never once have I seen her like this. "Rest," I whispered before I turned and walked towards the door.
"Go there!" Jon threw his pillow at me, but I ignored him. Tears began to wash my cheeks. I hurriedly removed it and said that this was all just a dream.
Maybe my life has been a dream all along. Because I can't distinguish dreams from reality.
