Ch.20 - Rio's

We didn't talk to each other when Zeyn finally drove me home. I was still stunned by what he had done earlier. Besides my chastity, he also managed to steal my heart.

So, is he now my lover? I looked at the man, who was watching me. When I realized I was watching him, he blinked for a moment, and smiled.

No way, I thought again. Me? With a Fae? Haha...

"What are you thinking?" I looked away, pretending to watch the road. Even now I no longer screamed as he carried me with his wings.

"No. It's nothing."

"All right now, can you keep it a secret?" Suddenly asked.

"Re...hasia?" Is he ashamed to have done that to me? Or does he just want to honor Clora's feelings for knowing that she likes him?

I remember when I woke up. Kei told me everything. How Clora and Zeyn spoke with four eyes. He suspects Clora is confessing her feelings for him.

Was it a success? I thought I wanted to ask, but this mouth won't open. I finally made no sound until I entered the cottage.

"Clar!" It turned out that in front of the entrance was already Kei. He looked up at my hand holding Zeyn's.

I took it off, and so did Zeyn.

"Dear, Zeyn..."

"Have you been looking for them, Kei?" Zeyn instead switched the conversation. The girl nodded, while I just fell silent like a fool for not understanding what she meant.

"What do you mean?" I wondered when we entered the house.

"Rio and Dain," Kei replied with a somewhat moody face. "Since you told me your vision, I've been worried too."

I squeezed his hand. "So...have you found them?"

Kei fell silent, then looked at Zeyn. The man also gave her a curious expression.

"I've found Rio..."

Butwhat? I was about to question him, but suddenly a red light filled the entire room. When I blinked, I knew my body was already bouncing backwards.

Bugh! I hit the wall. My back hurts, and I grimace in pain. When I used my elbow to get up, I saw someone's foot in front of me.

"You!" It was Rio. But, something's weird. Fires of anger were emanating from his eyes, while in his hands was a very bright red light. It must be her magic as a Fae Fire.

Another color of light was caught from the corner of my eye. I could see Zeyn stretching out her hands, then her magic had already attacked Rio's body.

"What the hell Rio! Why are you doing that?!" Kei had already run towards me, without caring for his friend in the least. "Are you okay, Clara?"

"Yes," I replied while nodding. My back is actually still painful.

"Ughhh!" I turned to the source of the voice, and could see Zeyn who was busy torturing Rio with her magic. Oh my God, I thought I was panicking. I forgot those two Fae were hostile towards each other.

"Zeyn, stop!" I shouted while using the help of the wall to stand up. "Don't torture him!"

But Zeyn still doesn't care about me. He continued to use his magic, which made Rio's hand try to reach his own neck.

He was drawing in the wind as well as oxygen, which was hindering his movement in Rio's throat.

"U-ugh!" Rio's eyes widened, his pupils dilated. I could see his neck flushed, as well as his muscles tightened.

"Take him off!" Kei hit Zeyn with his wind. The man was sidetracked for a while, while I immediately took the opportunity and walked over to Rio who was lying on the floor.

"Rio! You okay?" I moved his body, but the man did not have the energy to just talk.

The woman ran towards me, then carried him. Rio was about to brush off the woman's hand, but Sana was still pushy. It enveloped his body with a white light that instantly healed Rio instantly.

"Why did you attack Clara?!" Hardik Zeyn is behind me. I looked at the black-haired man. The red-winged man who always looked cheerful. The man now returned my gaze with hidden anger and resentment.

"You really don't know?!" Rio shouted back. "My brother! Dain's! He's been murdered." He began to shrink his voice, and muttered many times like a possessed person.

Everyone can't say anything. I dare not raise my head, for I know that everyone's eyes are now on me.

My vision.... is it really real?! And it happened?!

"Rul." Kei approached her and began to calm her down. "Tell us in detail."

"I don't know," he shook his head. "Four days ago. Dain.. he was killed."

"How did he get killed?" Zeyn was already squatting beside him. Rio immediately spat on her. "I don't want to explain this to you."

"But you have to do that" Zeyn replied, not to lose. "You know I'm the one responsible for the murder case in the Fae area lately."

Rio glared at her, while tensing his jaw.

"Has his wing been cut off?" My whisper, which immediately grabbed everyone's attention. Rio suddenly screamed furiously. Fortunately Zeyn quickly held back his hand so as to no longer attack me.

"You! A liar!" Shouted Rio to me. "Don't pretend! You were there when it happened, Clara! You saw it with your own eyes!"

"I-" I shook my head. "Where is possible!"

"Oh yeah?!" Rio grinning. "Now are you pretending to forget? Or maybe you're admitting to having amnesia?"

"You!" Zeyn re-created the wind, which instantly slapped Rio's cheek. "Be rude to him, I don't hesitate to kill you."

Rio ignored Zeyn's threat. His chest was rising rapidly. "I didn't see the culprit. By the time I got there, Dain was lifeless in front of me." His head then bowed. "I shouldn't have left him. I shouldn't have"

"Rio," Kei calmed her down again. "Who is there besides you?"

He then glanced at me.

No. gabe. Not likely. I started to panic. Obviously that time was just a dream

"Claras?" Kei looked at me. He then stood up from the floor. "You...?"

"Rio, what do you mean? Four days ago, Clara was still in this house" Zeyn explained.

"Then who do I see? A ghost?" Rio laughed without a sense of humor. "I can't believe it. I thought you were kind, Clara."

"No" I whispered. "It was just a dream"

"Again!" Rio started to rebel. Zeyn is then forced to lock his mouth with his magic. He then nodded towards Sana. The woman who had not said anything immediately understood Zeyn's intentions. After a while, Rio was already asleep thanks to his white magic.

But I still stared, not believing what I had just heard. So that time...real?!
