Moving House

Alex's main body was currently in the room he had rented at the Golden Mattress inn.

Moments earlier, his consciousness contained within the second clone disappeared shortly after the explosion occurred.

He wasn't sure if the clones both survived the blast or not. But just after the explosion happened, his body crashed heavily into the other side of the wall.

He felt some of his ribs broken, and could only move his head while lying on the floor.

Before his consciousness completely disappeared, he was relieved when inspecting the entire devastated area and found no signs of life from the black blob of the blue former priest.

Actually he wanted to move his main body to the scene. But if the others found him completely unharmed, he found it very difficult to explain it to them.

Alex suddenly got an idea. Couldn't he recreate the clones of both? If he managed to reshape the body of the clone, then it was certain that both clones had died in the explosion. But if that doesn't work, then the clones just fainted there!

"Hahahaha, great. My clone's alive. With this, I don't need to create a new identity and re-register as an adventurer!"

But Alex also felt helpless, if only he did not need to maintain his adventurer identity, he only needed to eliminate the existence of the second clone and create a new clone body. "Bright... Right now, I can only wear one clone in the next few days."

This morning was as peaceful as any ordinary day without a mission order from George.

He was propping his head up on the table with both hands while closing his eyes. Thanks to his early arrival, the number of students who came could be counted on the fingers. He could gain calm without the noisy voices of the gossiping female students, as well as the male students who bared themselves in front of the beautiful female students.

Suddenly someone's voice bothered him, "Morning Dino."

Dino raised her head, then looked at Alex in surprise. 'What's wrong with this guy?' He put his head back on the table without returning Alex's greeting.

'Hahahaha, look at this guy. I've been asking for a few days, yet still show such an attitude in front of me!' Then Alex stood up from his chair and walked towards Dino. He passed her casually while whispering softly, "Chryso Dory."

Dino immediately jumped out of her chair displaying an unusual facial expression. Her gaze followed Alex who kept walking, and left the classroom without caring for her reaction.

Then he came face to face with Helen. He gave her the code to get out of class, then told her what he heard from Alex just now.

"You sure you didn't hear wrong? Maybe you're dreaming?"

"I'm always focused at all times. Do you think my job is just sleep?"

"Yes!"

Dino showed a resigned look and invited Helen to accompany him. "Let's go see Alex first. I want to confirm it directly."

"Hahhh, all right."

As they search for Alex, the two see Alex talking to Tomi.

They approached the two and said to Tomi, "Sorry Tomi, can we talk to Alex for a minute?"

Tomi looked at Dino confusedly, 'We?' Before it was realized that there was Helen behind Dino. "Ohh... Okay. Alex, I want to put my bag in class first. I'll continue the report later."

"All right, see you later."

The three watched Tomi leave until she turned the corner of the hallway, before Alex opened her voice, "So, what do you want to talk to me about?"

"How do you know about Chryso Dory?"

"Dory Chryso? What'sthat?"

Hearing Helen's breath behind her, Dino dodged that she had misheard. "So you said it clearly while walking past the back of my chair!"

"really? I don't remember ever mentioning that before. What did you mention?"

"Chryso....."

Helen slapped Dino's back firmly. "Well Alex, maybe Dino's just delirious. Don't mind what he said."

'It looks like it's enough to prank them.' Alex laughed heartily at the passing of the two of them.

In a quiet hallway, Dino insists that her hearing is not wrong. "I'm sure Alex said it. Why do you trust me?"

Looking at this 'look at idiot's' gaze from Helen, he gave a thought that had popped into his brain just a moment ago. "What if he's a member of Blackwing? Although as long as we monitor him he doesn't do anything strange, it doesn't rule out the possibility, does it?"

Helen stopped suddenly which almost made her hit by Dino from behind.

"What's wrong?"

"I don't agree with what you said. But thinking back to when the previous marathon race took place, Alex left the race and went somewhere. We didn't know what he was doing, even to the point of willingly abandoning his hard training goal for the week before!"

"Look! Isn't there something strange about Alex? We have to inform this to the boss!"

"Does that have to be? I'm sure Alex won't commit a crime."

"Don't worry, I'll tell the boss myself. I'm sure there's something wrong with Alex!"

At three o'clock in the afternoon, Alex met Tina who was the manager of the supermarket where she worked part-time. Since he no longer needed to worry about money, he intended to resign from his part-time job.

After all, if he gets a mission that coincides with the schedule he works on, then it will be troublesome.

"Hahhh, after all I've heard from my husband that you want to resign from here. I've also been looking for someone else who will meet your shift schedule. It's just, it's hard to find someone as honest and disciplined as you."

Seeing Tina's disappointed expression, Alex smiled wryly, "I'm sorry ma'am manager."

Alex laughed and said Tina's joke. The two chatted for an hour, until Tina's work schedule was over and the two separated.

Alex continues on his way to the Chryso Dory building. This morning, he had stored all his belongings in the house into an inventory, intending to move them to his new residence on the sixth floor.

Alex enters the first floor and walks towards the elevator. He intends to meet George first to say hello, and ask for directions on the location of his room.

The elevator stopped showing the number five beside the door. Alex got out of the elevator, then walked into George's study by following the instructions he had been told on his phone.

'Is this the room?'

Inside George's study, Dino and Helen were sitting side by side waiting for the tea that George was preparing.

"So what do you want to talk about?"

George put down three cups of tea, then sat down before the two of them.

Seeing Helen's gaze waiting for her to speak, Dino resignedly said what she was thinking, "sir George, I think that we should add members to investigate ....."

Tok tok...

The knock on the door cut Dino's words.

"Oh looks like he's come. Please open the door, you can continue that later."

"All right, George."

Dino stood up from her chair then walked towards the door. He was preparing the right words to say to George, before opening the doorknob regardless of who was in front of him.

"Oh, hello Dino. I didn't think we'd see each other again after school."

Dino felt that the voice was familiar. He raised his head to face the person in front of him, then Dino's voice rang out all over the floor.

"A-A-Leeex!!!"
