Magic planet.
Alex's second clone activates <> and selects the magic planet when the cooldown has finished.
There were two descriptions of the location that came to his mind, when he sensed the system marker that indicated the location just before his death in the village of Rod.
One marker is on the front gate of Rod village, where one of his bodies was killed sadistically by Tio as well as a blue priest using a cursed creature.
The other marker is near the back gate of the village where Alex saw Owen's death shortly before his death.
Alex chose the back of the village. His body immediately disappeared from where he had rested earlier, and appeared near the back gate of Rod village.
"Everything's ruined!" Alex's hands clenched tightly to see the state of the village that had been destroyed by the actions of the Blood Star Church.
Walking towards the gate, Alex saw the pile of rice sacks he had previously made to close the road had now been scattered.
The scattered rice has also been reduced a lot because it is eaten by birds.
"It looks like those creatures didn't follow Mathias and the others." Alex sees no footprints of the cursed creature towards the departure of the eight survivors.
Although Alex wanted to search for them, he was sure he would not find them easily as it had been a dozen hours since the incident.
Alex turned and looked at the village. "I'd better bury all the victims in the village. With this, if the eight returned later, they would not be saddened to see the graves of the inhabitants and release their cries freely."
The city of Xyras, two days after Alex's arrival.
Alex's first clone was having breakfast on the first floor where he was staying.
The golden bed inn was one of Benzir's upscale lodgings in the city of Xyras.
Although the inn was quite expensive which was five silver coins for one night, Alex thought it was worth it. Remembering his rest at this inn was the most comfortable rest during his time in the magic world.
The food served downstairs is also very delicious, with fresh, quality meat from the animals that roam the outskirts of the Great Forest.
"Welcome Mr. Benzir." One of the servants bowed to greet the person who had just entered the inn.
"Mr Benzyr!" Alex stood up from his seat watching Benzir arrive.
"Oh, Alex! I didn't expect us to meet so soon. Why did you come to the city of Xyras?" Outsiders were still unaware of the incident in Rod's village, including Benzir who had just visited Rod's village about three days earlier.
Alex's face turned sad, he said, "Can we talk alone? I want to give you important information."
Seeing the change in Alex's face, Benzir agreed to it and took Alex to his private room.
Inside the room, Alex recounts all the events in Rod's village that were caused by the Blood Star Church.
"Is Owen really dead?" Benzir asked sadly.
"I made sure of it myself when fighting a damned creature." Alex is sad.
"So so. I'm sure he's told Timothi everything."
"Tell Timothi what?" Alex didn't hear any clear little Benzir murmur.
"No... I mean, what about the origin magic you said before. Can you show it to me?" Benzir realized that he had previously been free to speak, because it was carried away by the sad atmosphere of Owen's death.
Earlier, Alex told Benzir's inventory skills as the reason why he could help Owen fight the damned creatures.
If Benzir knows Alex has origin magic, then Alex's story makes sense in helping Owen fight the damned creatures.
The reason for this is because origin magic owners are usually faster at learning magic than those without it.
Alex shows inventory skills by removing some items in it.
Benzir was amazed by Alex's origin magic. "But how do you help Owen fight a cursed creature with this kind of origin magic?"
"I can do this too." Alex took a spoon made of wood and drained mana into it.
At first, the wooden spoon was only slightly shaking . But after Alex drained more mana, the wooden spoon vibrated stronger and seen a crack that extends from the bottom to the middle of the spoon.
"Stage stream mana!" Benzir's screams blared in the room.
The Eastern Continent, especially the region outside the Great Forest, was a region that lacked knowledge about magic.
The sheer number of monster-controlled areas, as well as the lack of road access connecting each location, led to a lack of learning about magic.
This caused the people who mastered magic in the eastern continent to be uneven in every location, especially in the suburban villages of the Great Forest.
Kyle, one of the leaders of the adventurer group in Xyras city was the one who studied magic in the Eastern Continent. This was what allowed Kyle to enter the silver rank for having met the minimum requirements.
Even though he was a silver-ranked adventurer, he had actually just been in the early stages of flowing mana and it was still not stable.
If Kyle was placed in another region that was more advanced in terms of magic, with his battle power being quite weak he would only be ranked bronze, one stage before silver rank.
"What if you just work with me after this? I'll pay you a good price."
Hearing Benzir's offer, Alex shook his head. "No, Mr. Benzir, I intend to avenge the village of Rod. I don't want to be tied to anyone."
"Well... Alex, I know this might sound bad to you. But with your current strength, you can't possibly avenge Rod's village." Benzir advised Alex because he vaguely knew the power that the higher-ups in the Blood Star Church had.
"Mr Benzir take it easy. I will increase my strength first before coming into contact with the Blood Star Church."
"Good indeed... Then, if you don't want to bond with anyone, you better join the adventurer guild. They were almost in every city in the world." Benzir gave advice.
If Alex were to join the adventurer guild, at least Alex would instantly be ranked silver due to the lack of strong adventurers in Xyras city.
"I'll think about it later. Anyway, now I want to discuss plans to change people's lifestyles. I need cooperation with Mr. Benzir to realize the plan. Take it easy, this will generate a lot of profits!" Alex switched the topic to discuss cooperation with Benzir.
"Whatis that? Just say it!" Benzir's pupils turned into gold coins, forcing Alex to continue.
"Didn't people always use flint to produce fire before cooking?" Alex intended to sell matches because while in the village of Rod, he saw all the residents turn on the fire by swiping two flint to produce a spark.
"Yes... Why are you asking that?" Benzir was confused as to why Alex was asking the obvious.
Alex pulls out a gas match from the inventory. "I have a tool that can easily make fire."
