"Sir, there are three men heading our way on horseback." A burly man in his thirties approached one of the carriage cars they were guarding.

The merchant sitting inside the carriage opened the window slightly to peek at the three people said by the guard he hired.

"Let them come. They're from Rod's village." The merchant recognized Timothi who was the son of the village chief Rod.

"Good sir." The burly man gestured for the others to let the three of them come to their entourage.

After getting to the merchant entourage, Gren first spoke up as he was the oldest among the three of them. "What happened to you?"

Hearing Gren's question, the merchant who was inside the carriage walked out to meet the three of them, "We encountered some trouble during the trip."

"Mr Benzyr!" Gren, Timothi, and Nicholas simultaneously recognize the merchants who always come to their villages in a certain period.

"Son Timothi, where are you going." Asked Benzir who only recognized Timothi among the three.

"We want to go back to Rod's village. We just sold drugs in Swalluw village to treat the plague-affected population." Timothi to Benzir.

Benzir did not take issue with the inter-village trade along the outskirts of the Great Forest.

Even on this trip, he brought many medicinal herbs and aimed to help all the villages even though they had to owe him a debt. If many villagers died from the plague, of course he as a merchant would lose in the future.

"We are also heading towards Rod village. Let's travel together." Benzir invites the three to follow their entourage on the way to the village of Rod.

Along the way, Benzir recounted the events that had befallen their entourage to the three of them.

When Benzir's entourage set foot in the village, Benzir and his entourage were shocked to find none of the remaining inhabitants anywhere. After a while of searching, they decided to leave because they found no sign of life around the village.

A few minutes after leaving the village of Muru, Benzir's entourage was confronted by seven human-like creatures that had a deep black color. The creatures had a strong physique but lacked intelligence as well as fighting experience.

The adventurers he hired managed to kill them but of course there were three victims in the event.

After the incident, Benzir realized it turned out that the black creatures were only targeting medicinal herbs that he brought after checking the luggage in the train carriage.

Benzir also thought about the possibility of the black creature is controlled by someone even though he was a little grateful because thanks to this their entourage managed to survive the black creature that has a physical beyond the adventurers he hired.

"I never found a creature like Mr. Benzir said when I was in the Great Forest." Timothi first opened his voice after hearing stories from Benzir.

As the oldest of the three, Gren spoke, "I have never seen a creature similar to Mr. Benzir's description in my entire life."

Benzir frowned and made a possibility after hearing the inhabitants who had long lived on the outskirts of the Great Forest had never seen the black creature.

"Alright, we'll talk about it later with your village chief. Let's speed up our journey." Benzir decided to speed up the trip after thinking of a possibility that worried him. "Kyle, increase the speed of the group. We should arrive at Rod's village in an hour." His orders to the adventurer leader he hired.

Planet blue.

Alex, Helen, Wika, Vincent, Melvis, and Jhon are at the airport waiting for their flight to the city of Lynden where the national Marathon race is held in the student category.

The Sevenright city government financed airline tickets and lodging for all participants from their city of nine so that the six of them departed with three other participants from other schools in the city of Sevenright.

"In tomorrow's race we have to show our best, especially you Alex." Said Vincent who has acknowledged Alex's ability in recent days. In the last three days of training, Alex was always in the first position and even beat Melvis and Jhon the ace of the school running club. Vincent, who was initially upset with Alex, finally recognized his talent and they became more familiar.

"Today we do not need to do heavy exercise so that our stamina is maximized when following the race tomorrow." Timpal Melvis, the chairman of the running club, as well as the leader of the group appointed by the principal.

"So what are our activities when we are in the city of Lynden later." Wika asked considering the distance between the city of Sevenright and the city of Lynden was only less than two hours away by plane and they would arrive there during the day.

"Schools provide for the cost of eating the six of us during our time in Lynden City. I'll give the info in our group to gather a while before the meal schedule. Beyond that, you are free to determine your individual activities, but my advice is that you should exercise your mind and mentality before the race begins." Said Melvis who was given the responsibility of saving travel expenses from school.

The five nodded hearing that and then continued their respective activities waiting for the arrival of their aircraft.

Arriving at Lynden airport nine participants from the city of Sevenright boarded a bus to the hotel provided by the city of Sevenright.

On the bus, Vincent who wanted to sit next to Alex was confused to see Helen already sitting there. With a sense of shame Vincent also headed to the bench Wika who he liked silently - silent.

"Why don't you sit with Wika?" Alex looked at Helen in confusion.

"No problem, I just want to be by your side." Helen did not turn her head to answer Alex's question but continued to play the phone in her hand.

'Does Helen like me? It seems like ever since I had my facial system getting handsome.' Alex pondered with his eyebrows raised.

Recalling her boss's words two days ago, Helen is curious about Alex's innate talent because her boss didn't mention it to her and Dino despite having been given a mission to keep an eye on Alex. With Helen's presence occasionally not noticed by people around, it's possible that he could see Alex showing talent in silence if he was beside Alex during the trip to the hotel.

"Who knows what good food is in Lynden?" The youngest among the six spoke up.

"I've been to Lynden before. Near the hotel where we stayed, there is a restaurant Laris Manise which has a delicious menu - delicious." Wika recalled a trip with her parents to the city of Lynden a few months ago.

"Well, twelve o'clock, we'll gather in the hotel lobby and go to the restaurant you mentioned. Of course we have to use the funds that the school provides well." Melvis decided to become the group's leader.

The six laughed together and continued their conversation all the way to the hotel where they were staying.
