Alex reads the employment agreement George gave him.

The contents of the paper he held were more about the things that George had explained before. He signed the letter and officially became a member of Chryso Dory.

"I'm going to the restroom for a while." Bilson stood up from his stool and left the two of them.

George watched Bilson move away from them towards the toilet in the corner of the room. "Haaaah... Too bad he doesn't want to join us."

"Why?"

"He was afraid that his family would be targeted by the enemy. Besides, he said he didn't want his wife and son to leave this world before him."

Alex understands. The first reason may be spoken from the bottom of Bilson's heart, but it is not a true reason. After all by helping Chryso Dory indirectly, the enemy still has the possibility to investigate Bilson's identity and hurt his family.

The second reason seems more reasonable. As the owner of talent who is endowed with the advantages in feeling mana, Bilson will certainly be different from normal humans.

"What if I refuse before? Will my status be the same as Mr Bilson's?"

George shook his head and continued.

"If you don't join us before, you can live your life as usual. But if we find you're using your talent for something criminal, of course we'll arrest you just like any other evil talent."

Alex defended himself as someone who was right.

"Why did George ask that?"

George tells Alex not to blame them both. Both of them were just doing the job he gave them. Of course Alex understood that and agreed.

George then asked Alex to show his talent according to the information he had heard from Bilson.

While thinking, Alex pulled out one gun left in the inventory and asked George.

"Can I get ammo from this gun?"

Initially admiring Alex's talent, George tells Alex, "Of course you're free to use ammunition of any type of weapon in the course of the mission."

"If it's outside the mission?"

George looked at Alex. Bilson came back from the bathroom. This is one of the times when Bilson's talent was very useful in the Chryso Dory organization.

George explained the matter to Bilson and asked him to use his talent to question Alex.

Alex doesn't dispute that. This was better done so that he could obtain as many bullets as possible from the Chryso Dory organization.

Then Bilson faced Alex while using his talent. "What's your purpose in buying that large amount of gun ammunition?"

"I can't answer that question."

Both of them looked at Alex sharply. There's no way Alex can tell you about the other world and the attack will be in a few hours.

In order to save his mana reserves, he intended to use a gun if he encountered an enemy that was the level of a silver adventurer down. Especially the damned creatures.

If he encountered an enemy that was as advanced as a golden adventurer, he could also use a gun to buy time as well as reduce the reserve where the enemy was.

After all he only needed to pull the trigger and shoot, whereas the enemy had to deflect the shot using a shield made of magic.

"Surely, I won't wear it for anything bad. I won't give it to someone bad either."

George looked towards Bilson to confirm Alex's remark. Bilson nodded and said that what Alex said was the truth.

"Haaahs... Alright, I won't pry your secret any further. Since Bilson confirmed it, you can get as many bullets as you like. But since this is beyond the mission, you should buy it as you take it!"

"Of course, Mr. George."

George guides Alex to the armory and shows the ammunition that matches Alex's handgun. "You can take it for ten dollars a bullet."

"Then I'll buy a hundred bullets."

Alex currently has a lot of money from the rice trade with Bilson, as well as income from his satellite trading business with Tomi. He even wanted to buy a thousand bullets from the Chryso Dory organization. But thinking about the number, he feared it would keep him under suspicion and monitored by the organization for some time.

Before giving ammunition to Alex, George emphasized once again. "Remember what you said. Never let us down!"

"Okay, George, I promise."

Alex gave George a thousand dollars and put a hundred bullets into the inventory.
