Transactions With Adventurers Guild

Alex's first clone has returned to the golden bed inn to rest.

Having just slept for about two hours, the sound of knocking on the door was heard from the front of his room.

"Alexes..... Alex..... Please open the door!"

Feeling the voice, Alex is forced to get up from his comfortable bed and walk to open the door.

"Hoaaam..... What's wrong, Benzir? I'm still very sleepy." In front of Alex, Benzir looked excited as he looked at himself.

"There's no time to sleep now. You know, I just got a big deal!" Benzir's excited voice felt annoying in Alex's ears.

"Can we talk about that later? I even slept a few hours ago." Alex lazily replied to him.

"Are you sure? This transaction will bring you a lot of profit!"

"How much?"

"Perhaps about a thousand gold coins or so."

Alex's eyes were wide open hearing the amount mentioned by Benzir. If what he said was true, then he would be able to increase his strength significantly. "Then I'll get ready in five minutes. Mr. Benzir just wait downstairs, I'll be there soon."

"Hurry along. I'll wait for you at the door." Benzir can't wait to talk about it with Alex, so he intends to wait for Alex at the door.

Alex closes the door letting Benzir outside the room. Although he wanted to find out what Benzir wanted to talk to him about, his first clone body was currently extremely tired.

He swapped his main body on the blue planet for the first clone in the room, to let his clone rest there.

After all, the time on the blue planet still shows at six in the afternoon. He doesn't have a part-time schedule today. As for the sate stall, he can let Tomi run it alone.

Alex opens the door to Benzir. "So what does Pak Benzir want to talk about?"

"It's about the book and the pen you sold me before. Let's go to my room first, it's not good to talk about it here." Although Benzir was excited, he played down his voice so that their conversation would not be heard by others.

Alex nodded then followed Benzir to the room reserved exclusively for Benzir, as the innkeeper of the golden bed.

Just like before, Alex gave Benzir two packs of coffee before they started talking about their dealings.

Benzir happily received the package, then called the waiter to brew two cups of coffee.

Sluupt.....

"Hahhh this is really delicious. Let's talk about the main topic." Benzir drank the coffee with satisfaction and continued.

"In fact, in the first two days, I had enough trouble spending the four thousand stock books and pens I bought from you. But yesterday morning, the head of the adventurer guild came to me and bought all the remaining stock of books and pens."

"Is that Mr Zeff?"

"Yes right. Do you know him?"

"Oh that's not it. I've only seen it from a distance, someone told me that it was Zeff who was the guild leader in this town." Alex is lying.

Benzir nodded in acceptance of Alex's lies easily then continued, "After he bought all the remaining stock, he said he would buy all the latest stock of books and pens that I would later sell."

Alex was surprised to hear that. He did see Aya, one of the receptionists in the guild opened the book he sold to see the list of missions recorded in the book.

"Why did the guild leader buy that much? I can understand it if he only buys as needed to make the guild administration easier." Although Alex will get a lot of money, but he is quite curious about it.

Benzir sighed softly then looked towards the door of the room. He was a little reluctant to give enough confidential information for free to Alex.

Even so, it was this man in front of him who was the only source he had to obtain books and pens to fulfill the guild master's request.

After making sure the door was tightly shut, Benzir approached Alex and told him in a voice that only they could hear.

As Alex knew before, the adventurer guild was founded by a mysterious person long ago, long before the kingdoms that exist today.

The age of the adventurer guild was even known to be longer than the Western Empire, which was established around five thousand years ago.

In each branch of the city guild, there are two main artifacts that can only be used by each guild branch head.

The first artifact is a communication artifact that can connect the artifact with other similar artifacts, to share information with each other.

The second artifact was an extremely valuable artifact, one that even any kingdom in the magic world wanted to possess. The function of the artifact is to transfer the items that want to be sent, as well as receive the items requested by the guild leader.

Unfortunately the two main artifacts were connected to a mysterious place that was the center of the adventurer guild administration. This was what caused the other party to be unable to abuse the two artifacts.

Even if they stole it, they could not use it because the artifact was connected to another artifact in a mysterious place, where the adventurers guild' main headquarters was located.

"In my opinion, the adventurer guild's central administration received information regarding this book and pen from guild leader Zeff. I'm sure they want to make this book and pen, as the main tools in the administration of adventurer guilds spread all over the world. Can you imagine the change that's happening all over the world with this tool you're selling?" Zeff eagerly shared his thoughts.

Alex nodded in understanding. Through an artifact that can transfer an object, Zeff will transfer the stationery he bought from Benzir to the adventurer guild's headquarters.

After that the adventurer guild's headquarters would transfer the stationery received from Zeff, to all the guilds scattered in different parts of the world!

"Then what about the price? Is there an increase?" Ask Alex with enthusiasm.

"It's a shame Alex. Chairman Zeff did not mention the price increase. I even intend to give him a little discount for going to buy in bulk." Benzir sighed.

"Behold, I only sold each of those tools for five silver and fifty copper coins. I only profit fifty copper for every book or pen sold. So don't think that I'm an evil merchant." Benzir further confirmed the price he gave to the guild chairman.

"Alright, I understand Mr. Benzir." Reply Alex.

Actually, he could have sold the two items directly to Zeff. But after thinking about it again, he paused the intention.

Besides it was troublesome, this Benzir in front of him was someone trustworthy. He also thought that he needed a strong connection, in order to freely sell more valuable items in the future.

"So how many books and pens are there today?" Benzir immediately asked the core of his arrival to see Alex.

"I only have five thousand each for now."

"That's quite a bit!"

Alex smiled wryly at Benzir's response. He still remembered Benzir's remark saying, that it would be difficult to spend the supply of stationery that he had bought three days earlier.

That's why he wasn't very enthusiastic about finding books and pens in the city of Sevenright and only collected five thousand stationery each.

As for the gas match, Alex has accumulated a large amount of stock in his inventory. He can provide as much as Benzir wants, if Benzir says it now!
