The Sate Selling Plan

Lunch break, William went to the marathon representative team to meet Alex. William invites him to speak together so Alex leaves the other five resting and follows William to a corner of the field.

"I've got my parents' permission to let you use the shop we just built. Since it's still empty I've talked to some people I know to make it easier for you. Look at some of these brochures."

William gave some brochures about the equipment to fill the store that he planned to use for Alex's trading business. Brochure - the brochure contains supplies such as tables, chairs, cooking equipment, and other supplies from cheap prices to those that look luxurious.

Alex thought of opening a business selling satay so he chose equipment at a relatively cheap price.

After choosing the equipment he wanted and recording the amount and price, Alex gave the data to William, "The total I chose was one thousand and four hundred dollars. I'll transfer you a thousand and five hundred dollars as a thank you for helping me."

"Hahahah you're so good Alex. But there's no need for that. My father allowed you actually so I could learn about these things. By helping you, I've learned a lot about the property business my father did. I'm the head of your class anyway."

Actually William has also been negotiating with acquaintances who sell goods - equipment. The previous brochure was indeed the real price but as an acquaintance of course he got a little from it. Although it was not as much as the hundred dollars Alex wanted to give before, of course he had gained experience from it as his father wished.

"Thank William. I don't know how to repay your kindness." Alex knew William's family was very wealthy. Previously he did not know what kind of return William's kindness so he planned to give it a hundred dollars as a gratitude to William. Alex did not expect that the head of his class who had rarely spoken to him was a very good person.

"Then how about this. I noticed Tomi seemed to be thinking about something and wanted to talk to you. Try talking to him and help him as much as possible about the problem he has."

William knows the state of his best friend Tomi's family. He is not allowed to give money directly to help others so he does not know how to help Tomi.

William of course saw a change in Tomi's expression when Alex talked about opening a trade business earlier so he hoped Tomi could talk to Alex and express what he had in mind.

"Of course William. I'll talk to Tomi later."

After receiving William's account number, Alex parted ways with William and returned to the marathon representative team.

In the afternoon, Alex did not continue training with the others because he had an appointment with Bilson, the husband of the manager where he worked part-time.

In the school parking lot, Alex meets Tomi who is taking out a motorcycle in the parking lot.

"You want to go home Tomi?" Ask Alex as he walks.

"Oh Alex, I'll pick up my sister at Junior High near here." Tomi smiled.

"I heard you were worrying about something. Is there anything I can help you with?"

Tomi smiled wryly at Alex's question.

"Not really. William's just saying you seem to be worried about something."

Tomi sighed and then re-parked her motorcycle.

Tomi tells Alex the state of his family where his father died from childhood so inevitably his mother works hard to meet the needs of Tomi and his sister to this day.

"It's not as hard as you're, but still I'm worried about my mom forcing herself to work hard for me and my sister."

Alex doesn't think his life is as hard as Tomi says. Although he had to work part-time, he actually had a lot of money in his account that he did not know where it came from.

One year ago, in the wake of the Leonard orphanage, Alex received a five-hundred-dollar transfer from an unknown person. Not only there, Alex still receives five hundred dollars every month so that Alex has received a total of six thousand dollars from the unknown person.

Although Alex receives money every month, of course Alex still works part-time and lives a simple life because previously he intended to continue his education to public universities.

Alex is also sad to think about Tomi's situation who wants to help his family. Although he knew all those in Leonard's orphanage as family, but of course Alex didn't understand the feeling of having a blood-related family.

"Then what if you help me trade? I've got a place to start and plan to open it after the marathon is over. You're free to come at any time to help me and I'll pay as scheduled." Alex invites Tomi to help him sell satay.

"Certainly that?" Tomi is shocked to hear Alex's offer. If Tomi works part-time, then he has to work on a schedule he sets to work in a week. It can make her mother suspicious if in one week Tomi always permission to her mother on the same day according to Tomi's work schedule. Alex said he was free to come anytime to help sell. Of course his mother wouldn't suspect him if he'd been let out on a random day.

"of course. I'll be very helpful if you want to come to work. After I finish the marathon, I will start at night on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday because I still plan to continue my part-time work on other days. On Sundays I will sell from morning till noon. You are free to determine when you will help sell. If you want to work on my part-time schedule, you can do it alone. Of course I believe in my friend."

"I'm willing. Thanks Alex. I'll introduce you to some pretty lady William's acquaintance later." Tomi still had time to joke to cover the sadness before that made Tomi's eyes glazed - glass.

Tomi's feeling of pity for Alex's previous situation is now replaced by respect for Alex. Despite living alone, Alex can remain optimistic and even now will begin to open a trading business.

Fifteen minutes passed after Alex and Tomi talked about their business plans and other things.

Tomi tells Alex that she is afraid that her sister is waiting too long and gets scolded for it.

After seeing Tomi's departure, Alex pulls out his motorbike from the school parking lot and drives it to the meeting location told by Bilson at the time they promised to meet earlier.
