‘Wow...’ Mefras showed his admiration for the size of the boar.
Verite did not blame him, even Verite was surprised when he saw the size of this wild boar, unlike what this pig said was not a little bigger than humans, this pig was much bigger than them.
When compared to this boar sized with a small cottage that collapsed, did not expect his father Datura doubt they would be able to defeat this pig and he was also worried if Helian could defeat him.
Helian tells them that she will try to fight this boar herself and Verite begins to doubt Helian's sanity before Regulus says he has no desire to interfere with Helian's mission at all.
‘Regulus might say he won't interfere but the fact that he came here means that he cares about Helian, I'm guessing he brought us here to keep an eye on Helian and only interfered if Heelian needed help.’ Mefras suggested, ‘Surely this is just my guess, I don't know Regulus well enough to guess his behavior for sure.’ She added.
Hearing that Verite could only resign herself and be ready if things would start to get problematic, at least Helian could say she would ask for help if she could not defeat this boar.
Fortunately, all the villagers had locked themselves in their homes, including Datura, whom Regulus told to go home and lock the doors, so Verite did not have to worry about observers falling victim to their fight.
Helian started attacking him, she pulled her bow and started aiming, Verite could see which one was flowing in the arrow in Helian's hand.
The boar started eating plants that he had not touched in his previous attack, Verite took a breath when he saw the boar becoming bigger right before his eyes.
It seems that the talk of his father Datura was not wrong, before this pig was only sized like an ordinary human but after eating he grew to be bigger.
this was urgent, if they did not defeat him now then there was a high chance that this beast would become much bigger again.
Helian released her hand and the arrow flew and stuck right in the eyes of the chapter, the screeches of the pigs were heard throughout the forest, the arrows of Helian were still stuck in her eyes.
The pig realized Helian's whereabouts and without spending any time at all butting towards her.
Helian leaps up and lands behind the beast, using her abilities as a Thaumaturgist she can improve her body's abilities enough to perform athletic movements that look beyond human abilities.
in his hand was a spear that had two extra sides, this spear was often used to hunt wild pigs in the forest but Verite was not sure of its size.
Not spending the time of the wild beast once again trying to pollinate Helian, wanting to turn her into a satay kebab, this time Helian held her position, brandishing her spear towards the ramming of the boar.
His spear eyes met the beast's head, its hard body deflecting and sticking to the side of the pig's head, Helian held back her spear and slowed down her assault but before long they clashed against the wooden handle of the spear and forced Helian to dodge.
They were once again eye to eye, Helian whipped out the sword she had stored by her side and began to once begin to clash.
While watching this fight Verite was feeling uneasy, he was reminded of the feathers he had met and he felt that there was a monster mixed up with the case.
Verite signals to Regulus that he will move, Verite leaves Helian, who is still fighting with the boar and Regulus, who is watching him.
What would be bad could be worse, not long from Verite's decision to leave Helian and go back to Verite village heard a scream that sounded like a bird and right in front of him was a monster.
This monster was shaped like a huge bird with blackish-blue feathers, its color was almost completely disguised in the darkness of night, probably because it was Verite and the others unaware of this monster slipping from their sight, because of the color of the fur together and their focused gaze on the giant boar.
Fortunately Verite was able to realize it before this monster could attack the residents' houses, he could feel the sight of the citizens watching them from the windows of their houses, the monster's screams had already made them aware of this attack.
The monster once again screamed and Verite jumped up, avoiding the spewing of the liquid that was burning the ground, in his attempt to dodge Verite dropping the Mefras construct he was carrying on his backpack.
Verite approached, smeared his fists with fire where it was burning and tried to end this fight with a single blow, eyeing the monster's face.
But reality did not support Verite's delusion because the bird flapped its wings and slowed Verite down, its legs swinging crazily and making Verite retreat, avoiding the sharp claws that could split the wood.
Verite thought of attacking him from a distance but he remembered that he was standing in the middle of a village filled with houses made of wood.
‘Their fight’ consists of Verite chasing this monster and this monster trying to avoid Verite's attack.
Even though the size of this human bird monster possessed a speed that was not demonstrated by its large and round body, their conflict had already caused some of the citizens' property to be destroyed and nearly injured people, he said, but luckily Verite can force her to retreat before the monster can reach the citizens who ran due to the destruction of their residence.
This also made Verite convinced that this monster was attacking with the desire to kill humans, but what puzzled him was why he did not attack along with the boar?
Verite couldn't think of this long because he had to avoid pinching the beak of the bird that had those teeth.
Verite had to end this fight quickly, though, as it was not only the longer this fight was carried away then more citizens would be in danger but the amount of mana Verite was also further depleted as she continued to use mana to strengthen her body so that Verite could react when the monster attacks him.
Their exchange continued until one of the attacks managed to pierce through Verite's sight and the sharp beak was about to sever Verite's neck.
his short life flickered in his eyes but before the beak of the monster touched it the bird monster retreated back as if someone would hit it.
The Mefras construct that fell from Verite's backpack held on to cover the monster's eyes, defending against the monster's swing trying to take it off its head.
‘Now Verite!’ Verite heard Mefras' screams, not taking any more chances Verite jumped up, pushing the monster upside down.
Verite occupied his neck, the monster tried to release himself but Verite with his body reinforced by mana managed to hold him back.
With a flash of Verite's fists heating up, he started beating the head of the bird that still got the Mefras construct attached to it
Verite started hitting him.
One punch…
Two strokes…
Three Blows…
Verite did not know how much he hit the monster, but he did not stop and continued to do so, the sound of his fist explosion rang out throughout the village, he continued to do so until he had no mana anymore and the monster did not move at all.
Verite lowered his hand and looked at the hole where the monster's head was previously located.
