Irene's Contract

Irene, who was now in the midst of sadness and regret for her actions, suddenly heard the sound of knocking on the door from the outside made her surprised and afraid of the presence of someone outside who kept knocking on the door.

Irene who was in a position in the middle room then forgot to turn off the lights of the room, making her immediately hide under the table right when she heard the sound of repeated knocking of the door.

"I didn't mean it. I really didn't mean it.." he said softly while as much as possible continuing to hide and unseen.

Irene was silent for a while, until then she heard the faint sound of the knock begin to disappear and not be heard again. Hearing that Irine slightly raised her head and peeked a little from the middle room.

"Hopefully they're gone, I'm really scared" he told himself.

Irene who thought that the person who knocked on the door had left, not long ago again heard the sound of knocking on the door but this time not the person but like the voice of someone she knew.

"Mother Ida, the tumben is coming at this hour? the feeling I have paid for the rented house deh." he said later after hearing the voice of the owner of the rented house he currently occupies.

With a hurried step Irene then opened the door and walked out from there.

"What's wrong mom? haven't I paid the rent this month?" Irene asked directly while looking confusedly at Ida.

"Already, it's just that." said Ida was cut because the emergence of Rian and also Kafeel suddenly arrived.

"I told him to." said Kafeel from Irene's rented house's pole vane.

"Thank you so much ma'am" said Rian then with a friendly smile that Ida replied with a nod of her head.

"Sir Rian!" his strangler in heart who saw Rian coming with a man who he himself did not know who it was.

After successfully calling Irene out Ida then waltzed away from there. While Irene who saw the two approaching then took a few steps back intending to enter the house and tried to close the door so that the two could not enter following her.

"Wait!" shriek Kafeel while holding the door of the rented house that was almost closed.

"Ren we have to talk now, it's important" Rian said in a pleading tone.

"It's late, sir, you should just go home" said Irene while trying to pull the door of her rented house.

"No way, Kinara was suffering there but you told us to go home instead. Do you have no conscience at all?" kafeel said that directly pierced right into Irene's heart.

Irene who heard that then immediately fell silent and took off the doorknob of the house slowly. Guilt re-emerged in her heart, Irene really could not let Kinara like that but she was also scared and could not do anything to help Kinara.

Irene fell silent, without even being told by Rian Irene also knew that, only she really had no choice but to do that.

"If Kinara in Delisha prison gets lonely, a child's mentality will be disturbed because of his mother who became an ex-convict. I know it's overkill but I'm sure her surroundings will definitely reject Kinara and it will make psychic Delisha annoyed about it. Do you want that to happen? when Kinara helped you to get up, you sacrificed Kinara instead?" kafeel said in a soft tone that made Irene's countenance change instantly.

Irene stared at Kafeel inside with a glassy eye bead.

"I know I was wrong, but at least Ms. Kinara still has people standing by her side no matter what. But me? nobody cares about me, right?" Irene said with her sobs held back.

"Every action must have responsibility Ren, you do of course you are responsible. Aren't you too greedy to make Kinara the scapegoat of your deeds?" rian said later.

"I never made Bu Kinara a scapegoat. The police are stupid for not knowing that fact" Irene said.

"You.." said Kafeel with a high tone but successfully stopped by Rian who immediately held his shoulder.

"You can't be like this, there's a lot of hearts that would be hurt if Kinara was in prison" Rian said later.

"Delisha still needs Kinara, you can't be selfish like that and just selfish about yourself" Kafeel again tried to persuade Irene but instead offended Irene when she heard him.

"You say that because you love Miss Kinara? have you ever stood by my side? for months or even years I have overcome the trauma that Fathan has done to me. You don't know, do you? you guys can only put forward your ego and continue to stand up for the woman you care about. Have you ever thought of anyone else? the answer is no!" Irene said in a half-screaming tone as she held back the turbulent feeling in her chest when she heard Kafeel and Rian continue to urge her.

"That's not it. We don't mean to belittle anyone other than Kinara. It's just that what Rian said was true as well, now try to think, if you're in Kinara's position and currently languishing in prison for a deed he never did before, how are you feeling?" kafeel said this time in a soft tone because it seemed to talk to the woman before him this could not be with violence and harsh words.

"I.. I. You better get out of here, it's not good night when you see the neighbors." he said then while directly closing the door of his contract violently leaving Rian and Kafeel still staring at Irene with an unreadable gaze.

"How is Kaf? Irene will not be able to help us" said Rian in frustration while Kafeel was calm as if without burden.

"You calm down we wait until tomorrow here, I'm sure he'll be out tomorrow" Kafeel said in a confident tone.

"If he comes out of course, that's the problem he wants or doesn't help us?" rian said with annoyance when he saw the calmness in Kafeel's face.

"It's been quiet and calm, all we need to do now is wait and don't keep pushing it anymore" Kafeel said, upset at Rian's stupidity.

"Then?"

"Well, we'll sleep here until morning!" kafeel said as he sat himself on the floor of Irene's rented house.
