The Step Sister of Tiri

The Step Sister of Tiri
61. Zanita did

Zayna was crying in the arms of her husband. He felt relieved, finally after two days of moving into the inpatient room, Papa Rahmat opened his eyes. Same with Mama Savina who just arrived. Zayna called her mother. Soon the woman came to the hospital with Zivana.

Every day Mama Savina always comes home in the afternoon and will come in the morning. Zanita herself has not come since that day. Nobody's all bothered about it. They think Zanita is busy at her in-laws' house.

"Thank you, Doc. Thanks to the help of the doctor and my father-in-law can open his eyes" said Ayman who still hugs the wife.

"Sama-sama, that is indeed my duty. Then I'm sorry. I'll come in at the time of the examination."

"Thank you, Doc," said Mama Savina, who was taken by the doctor as she passed by.

They all went back into the room occupied by Papa Rahmat. It looks like the man is sitting down. Zayna immediately approached her papa with her face, but a smile continued to adorn the lips.

"Papa, how's Papa doing now? Where's that sick?" ask Zayna.

"Father it's okay" replied Papa Grace. "Are you hurt?"

"No, I'm fine. Papa who has arrived like this for helping me" said Zayna with teary eyes.

"It's a father's duty to protect his son. Papa never regretted it either. Papa apologizes, all this time has been unfair to you. During Papa's sleep, a lot of things happened and it made Papa aware, if all that happened because Papa could not be fair to you. You always do all the responsibilities at home, but Papa never appreciates you. Be even mean to you."

"Papa don't talk like that. I'm glad Papa's healing. I hope Papa doesn't do anything like yesterday. Papa made me unable to live quietly."

"Don't make it a burden what Papa does. Even if time is repeated, you will still save you. That's all Papa can do and Papa knows that Papa's son is a strong woman."

"Already, Pa, you better take a break. Papa just came to his senses."

Papa Rahmat nodded then looked at the wife. The man smiled looking at Savina's face which was also puffy. "Sorry, it's got you worried."

"No problem, as long as Papa regains consciousness, that's enough for me. I'm sorry too. These few days I've always pissed off Papa" said Mama Savina in a hoarse voice.

"Papa also often made Mama angry. Sorry papa!"

"No, Papa is not wrong so, there is no need to apologize" Savina said as she clasped her husband's palm.

When the husband lay helpless. Savina saw the shadow of her mistake all this time back to the surface. After much thought, there was not a single kindness in him that was worth remembering. Everything was just a mistake, especially to Zayna.

The woman felt very guilty towards the princess. Zayna has been very kind to her and her two daughters. His hatred for Aisyah's late mother, he vented on Zayna.

Savina was also afraid that her husband would love her daughter more than Zanita. However, it is he who makes mistakes. To make his two daughters become spoiled and like to behave arbitrarily. If only time could be turned back, but it was impossible.

"How's your papa doing, Zanita?" papa Ma'ruf asked as they were enjoying breakfast.

"So morning Mama Savina called, she said papa was sober."

"You don't want to go there?"

"I'll me—"

"In a moment, let Mama open," said Lusi who then moved forward. Not long after, he again called out to his daughter-in-law.

"Zanita, in front of someone calling you," said Mama Lusi nervously and confused.

"Who, Ma, is calling? Why are you so nervous?" ask Papa Ma'ruf.

"Papa see for yourself. Papa would also be surprised."

Everyone who was there looked at each other. They wondered who came in the morning. Especially to make Mama Lusi like that. Papa Ma'ruf walked forward followed by everyone. Sure enough they were surprised, it turned out that at the door there were already two people wearing police uniforms.

"Good morning, sir. Sorry can I help you?" ma'ruf asked the two men. Just like his wife, he was actually nervous. It's just that the guy is trying to look ordinary.

"Good morning, sir. We're looking for Zanita's brother. Is he really living here?" ask one of those people.

"Oh, yes, that's my daughter-in-law. This is the man" said Papa Ma'ruf, pointing at Zanita. The appointed ones were surprised. His body trembled, not knowing what to do.

"I—iya, Sir. A—ada what, huh?" asked Zanita who was nervous.

"Sorry sister Zanita. We want to take you because you proved to be a hit-and-run suspect over Mr. Grace's brother. Your own papa" the police said firmly.

Of course it surprised everyone. They knew about the incident and did not expect that the culprit was Zanita. That woman is the child of grace. Why is he so willing to do this to that man?

"Sir, didn't you catch it wrong? Grace is his father" said Papa Ma'ruf. He was very surprised to hear that. All this time the man knew was Zanita his favorite daughter. How could his son-in-law do that?

"No, Sir. Should sister Zanita explain at the police station only. You can also ask there."

"No! I don't want to go there! I didn't do anything. You guys don't try to slander me!" zanita. Until whenever he does not want to go to that place.

"Sorry, please cooperate. If you are indeed innocent, you can bring your lawyer as well as evidence to deny the accusation. For now please come with us."

"No! I don't want to!"

Zanita will escape. Fortunately, the other policeman quickly caught the woman. His hands were handcuffed so as not to escape. Zanita tried to rebel. He did not accept being treated like that because he was not a bad person.

"Mas, please save me. I really don't do what they accuse me of. I can't possibly harm my own papa. They've slandered me. This must be Zayna's job. He didn't accept it because I took you from him" Zanita said. However, Fahri did not answer at all. The man was still in place. He was still shocked by what he had seen this morning.

Seeing the inertia of Fahri, Zanita's heart hurt because the man did not care about it. He laughed sweetly, laughing at his messed up life. It all started with the feeling of his irishness when he saw Zayna happy and laughing.

Police forced the woman into the car by putting her in the car. Zanita, who was rebelling, is now silent. Moreover, seeing the family of the husband at all no one tried to defend him.
