30. Ayman Family

Zayna has arrived at her house. The woman decided to call her husband. Suddenly his feelings became unpleasant probably due to his conversation earlier with Miss Cindy who had poisoned his mind. Call has been connected. But Ayman did not lift it. Unwilling to give up so she tried to contact him back and was eventually picked up as well.

"Assalamualaikum, dear," said Ayman who was opposite.

"Waalaikumsalam, Mas. You been there long?" ask Zayna who is impatient. Usually he would ask Ayman before talking about anything else.

"I'll ask you later, uncle, but it looks like two more days, honey, why? Are you afraid of being home alone?"

"No, Mas" Zayna replied. "I'm afraid of your presence there" he continued in his heart.

"If you're afraid, you can sleep in Papa Mercy's house. If I need to, I'll have my friend at the ojek base take you."

"no need. I'm okay at home. I'm just worried about you" replied Zayna listlessly. You know, yesterday she was with her husband.

"I'm fine, don't worry too much about me. Just take care of my health makes me happy. What are you now?" ayman asked, trying to divert the conversation.

"Oh, it's out of the stall, buy eggs. At home the egg runs out."

"If I go home, I buy you a refrigerator, yes, so I can keep the food longer. Let's not go back and forth to the vegetable."

"If you allow me, I can do it tonight so it doesn't take much longer" Doni said.

Ayman thought of Doni's suggestion then shook his head. Although he desperately wanted his job done quickly, but the man knew that his subordinates had families here. Ayman doesn't want to be selfish by taking Doni's time.

"No need, Mr. Doni. We just work accordingly. It's also time to go home from work, preferably Mr. Doni go home. The whole family must have been waiting."

"But we still have a lot of work, sir."

"It's okay, let's continue tomorrow."

"If, sir, how about yourself?"

"I can go home by myself. I still have to go somewhere else anyway."

Ayman nodded while looking at Doni's departure. Actually he lied and intended to overtime so that he could finish his job immediately. The man missed his wife very much. Ayman also could not bear to leave the woman alone at home. Especially considering how the neighbors treated Zayna.

He returned to work until midnight. The man decided to sleep in his apartment alone, which was close to the company. Kinan had contacted him many times, Ayman's therapy only replied to him with a message, that he would sleep in the apartment tonight.

Even in the apartment, Ayman could not sleep. He still thinks about his wife. Wanting to call was afraid of interrupting Zayna's break because it was already midnight. Finally the man opened the gallery and looked at the photos and videos of his wedding.

"Sister said he was going to sleep in the apartment" replied Kinan who then continued his dinner.

"Kan, it should be, Ma. My brother must have missed his wife too. Which man leaves his wife at home alone. If I were Ayman's wife, I would definitely come here. Unfortunately for sure the sister-in-law doesn't know where her husband lives." Kinan tried to defend his brother and sister-in-law.

"That's the fool of her, why would she marry a man she doesn't know where she lives."

"Because Ayman's sister is lying and not telling the truth about who she is. He made a fake identity to get married. All done only for my mom. I can only pray, hopefully brother-in-law can accept everything someday. If only Kak Ayman was honest, would have just opened the phone can already find our family name."

"You want to blame Mama for all these conditions?" aisyah Beaver.
