The Step Sister of Tiri

The Step Sister of Tiri
16. Zayna's husband

"Mas, you want to take a shower? Let me prepare the water" Zayna said as they entered the room.

"No need, I can do it myself." Ayman went to the bathroom to clean up. However, he stopped and turned around. "Where's the towel?"

"Oh, I–iya." Zayna immediately picked up the towel that was in the closet and handed it to her husband.

'No, being called dhek is already trembling. What about the other call, Zayna's inner self while staring at the closed bathroom door.

The show is over, all the guests are ready. Just clean up. Ayman already paid people to clean the house. He did not want his wife to blame her family for the trash made by the guests.

While waiting for her husband to finish the bath, Zayna came out of the room and made tea for him. While in the kitchen, Fahri suddenly comes and stands beside the woman to make her surprised. Since the man married his sister, Zayna has always avoided Fahri. He didn't want any trouble, let alone one related to his sister and mother.

As much as possible the woman avoided any conversation with Fahri. Not because of his love is not over, but more to avoid slander and tantrums his family. Zayna knew exactly what would happen if they were seen together. Surely the end is only slander that he got.

"What are you doing, Na?" ask Fahri. But Zayna just silently did not answer with her hands busy making tea.

"Na, I asked, why shut up?" ask the man again by grabbing Zayna's arm. But soon the woman was pushed aside.

"Sorry, I don't think you're talking to me. My status in this house is the eldest child, you better call me brother. I'm making tea for my husband, excuse me." Zayna left with her homemade tea to the room.

Fahri was hurt by the answer the woman gave. She used to call him mas, now he's turning into you. But now he is no one. Seeing Zayna who made tea for her husband, made the man think of his fate which was never served like that.

Zayna entered her room, seen Ayman had just finished bathing and only used a towel on the lower part of her body. The wife immediately turned over her body. Just this time the woman saw a man not wearing clothes. Even though they were legitimate, he still felt ashamed.

Ayman who understood was immediately looking for his clothes that were still in the suitcase. He wears his pants and his casual t-shirt capat so that the wife does not back him for too long. The man cursed himself who forgot to bring a towel.

"I've been wearing clothes" said Ayman who tried to look ordinary.

As with Zayna, this was also the first time the man had been in a room together with a woman. It felt a bit strange, but they had to get used to it because after this the two would always be in one room together.

"This is the tea, Mas" said Zayna, putting a cup of tea on the table beside the bed. He immediately entered the bathroom to clean himself up.

Ayman enjoyed his wife's tea. The man was happy to get this kind of service. Although previously he was also often served while at home, but this feels different if our loved ones do it. Ayman prepared the prayer equipment for himself as well as the wife. This was the first time he was going to be a priest. There are feelings that cannot be expressed.

"What's up, Mom?" asked Zayna when she saw her husband look dizzy.

"I'm going to pray for you again, we pray together, yes!"

"Oh, yes, it's next to the dresser. Let me take it myself. You better get some water first."

"Here you go, my mom."

Ayman went back to the bathroom and took the water. After that he went out and prayed together with his wife. Just like her husband, Zayna also felt happy to pray together. Usually the woman always does her own duties in the room. Sometimes the two of them along with his father, it was very rare. From today if her husband is at home, she will strive to worship together.

While in the kitchen, Fahri just kept quiet with an empty look. Until the arrival of his wife, the man was not aware. Zanita looked at her husband with questions. He suspected that the husband was thinking about his sister's marriage. The woman admitted that Zayna looked very beautiful.

"Why are you, Mom, standing in the kitchen?" ask Zanita.

"It's okay just wanted coffee, but there's nobody I can ask for here" said Fahri who was intentional so that his wife would make it for him, but baby, it was, looks like the woman is insensitive.

"So soon, I'll call Brother Zayna to make you some coffee."

"Don't, don't have to. It's not good to bother the newlyweds. I'll just drink water." Fahri walked to the freezer and drank water from the bottle.

Zanita just looked at her husband strangely. He feels like Fahri is hiding something, but the woman doesn't know what. Could this be about the conversation with her in-laws earlier?

"Oh, yes, Mas. Mama Lusi and Papa Ma'ruf said what? It seems serious when I look from afar."

"It's okay, it's just about work" Fahri replied lying.

Actually they were talking about Zayna's wedding party that looks so fancy. Although not catering from a famous restaurant, but seeing the merchants presented was also able to drain the wallet. Susi was curious, how could Grace make such a big party? Whereas on the wedding day with Zanita, the middle-aged man only spent a little money. Everything was borne by his son.

Fahri tried to explain if his in-laws did not spend a little money. All were borne by Zayna's husband. However, of course Lusi did not believe it. She had already heard what the job of the groom-to-be was.

"You don't need to cover up your in-laws' ugliness" said Lusi.

"But Papa Rahmat did not spend a penny, Ma. All these parties were borne by Zayna's husband. Why, anyway, if Zayna's having a big party? He also has the right to do so, but this is not anyone's money. Zayna's future husband did it."

"Little children won't believe it either. How could her husband who is an ojeker be able to hold a party this big!"

"Mama don't have to demonize others. Who knows he also has savings, maybe even more money than us. Already, do not need to be discussed again," concluded Ma'ruf. He did not want any of Ayman's men to hear their conversation, could end the history.
