“Where is the person?” ask Hanif to his man.
“There inside, Mr.”
Hanif entered the room indicated by his men. There are people there also standing guard. The man screeched cynically, looking at the person who had harmed his son. Though Adam had been very good to them, but his kindness was misunderstood by his family.
That person was none other than Akmal. At the moment his condition is very concerning. His hands were tied backwards by sitting on a chair. His mouth was also covered with duct tape so as not to let out a voice that disturbed the calm. Even though they were currently in the middle of the forest, still his screams would be disturbing.
“Wake him!” hanif orders with a gaze that still stared at the unconscious Akmal, not since when.
One of Hanif's men brought a bucket of cold water and doused it. Of course it made Akmal surprised and immediately woke up. He looked around and saw Hanif there. Still vividly remembered who the man in front of him was, the old man who adopted Aldo or what is now known as Adam decades ago.
“Open her mouth cover!” hanif's orders.
Someone does what their boss says. Akmal squealed in pain as the duct tape in his mouth was pulled away quickly. Several times he cursed. However, it was completely indifferent to the people around him.
“Is there anything you want to say before I do something to you?” asked Hanif in a calm tone.
“What do you want to do? I'm sure my parents are looking for me right now. They must have reported to the police, you don't know how much my family's influence is. Soon you will be arrested by the police" Akmal said confidently.
Hanif laughed out loud, sounding so horrible that it made my feathers crumble. The people around him became afraid to hear it, including Akmal the man below fell silent, unable to get out any words. Everything stuck in his throat.
"Before doing anything to my family. Did you ever find out who we really are?" asked Hanif with a flat-back expression.
"I don't have to look for something that I don't think is important" Akmal said in a cynical tone.
"Oh, it's not important. Well, you seem to be underestimating me and my family a lot. I'll show you something, which you'll surely regret for the rest of your life for playing games with my family."
Hanif pulled out the firearm that he had been hiding from earlier. The man scrutinized his weapon intently, while looking towards Akmal whose face had paled. The young man indeed often did noise or the like, so never used such a weapon. This was the first time he had seen a firearm in person. Akmal grew increasingly frightened at the thought of what Hanif would do to him.
"What if one of the bullets in this gun goes into your body? Are you going to take your last breath right then and there or need to be five bullets so that you can leave forever from this world?" hanif asked without looking at Akmal and continued to focus on his weapon.
Akmal's body trembled, his brain unable to work properly while in this nervous state. "You can't do that. You could go to jail for killing people."
"I need to tell you. Before you came here, there were already dead in this place so, adding one more victim was no problem for me. The police will never find any evidence either because after you die, your body will become my pet's meal. There's no more evidence that can ensnare me."
Akmal's fur is getting bristling, he tried his hardest to stay on his feet. However, it was undeniable that what Hanif said made his body shiver in fear. Between believe it and not if Hanif had really done that. However, when viewed from the situation and conditions it is very possible.
"Oh yeah, maybe you don't believe me, but I'll give you one piece of evidence."
“How? Would you like to try it?” hanif asked with a grin, making Akmal shake his head quickly.
“Why do you want to harm Adam?” asked Hanif flatly.
“Because he's already taken our restaurant."
“Our restaurant? Did I not hear wrong? Isn't that Adam's late mother's restaurant? She just wants hers back then, where's her fault?”
“Crue to? But the one who managed and took care of him from the past were both my parents.”
“Really? Not that Adam was his father's son. Do you pay tax every year?”
Akmal froze, Adam was indeed his father's biological son who was not considered. He also once asked his father and mother about the tax papers, but they said they were gone. He and his family have never paid. The man thought the data was gone.
“What is Adam?” Instead of answering Hanif's question, Akmal asked back.
“Do you think?”
“Sial!” akmal muttered which then got a blow from Hanif.
Akmal whimpered in pain as Hanif gave a raw bogem. Hanif who had just so far endured his frustration, immediately vented to Akmal. He decided to keep back his firearms and teach him a lesson with his own hands. The young man was really helpless. He tried to retaliate, but there was no chance for him at all.
Hanif asked his men to open the bond so that he would not be called a coward for attacking the enemy in a bound state. Many times the young man wanted to avenge the attack Hanif had given him. However, his strength was not at all a match for that man. His punch was not even able to touch the skin of Kinan's husband.
Akmal is completely helpless. I don't know how many bones have been broken and how many times he shouted. Hanif as if he was paying attention to his ears at the young man's cry. All this time the man did not want to interfere in the affairs of the son. He felt that there was nothing dangerous, but who would have thought if Adam's own family actually harmed his adopted son.
Akmal was already sprawled with blood splattering everywhere. His strength was completely exhausted just because of one person. Somehow it would be if the thugs who brought here also beat him up.
“How does it feel? That's how my son feels now. His leg bone is broken so you have to feel it too. It just broke if something even worse happened, then it would come back to you many times over. Remember that well!”
Hanif improved his appearance and turned around to leave from there. Before that he said to his men. "Give him to the police with the evidence. Make sure he doesn't say anything about what's going on here."
"Ready, Sir."
