The Step Sister of Tiri

The Step Sister of Tiri
208. The Kinan

“Assalamualaikum,” say Ayman, Zayna and Mama Aisyah simultaneously. The three entered the room where Kinan was being treated.

"Getishalight."

Kinan smiled to see his family coming. He hugged them one by one. "Baby Ars isn't coming, brother?" tanyanya hugged her sister-in-law.

"This is a hospital, Dhek. Where might Brother take her," replied Zayna after breaking her embrace.

"Yes, I miss him a lot. Surely now his cheeks are getting chubby so want to pinch his cheeks." Kinan pinched his own cheek, imagining pinching his nephew's cheek.

"You will also have your own, you can be content to pinch your baby's cheeks" said Zayna with a smile towards her sister-in-law. "How are you doing now?" tanyakanya.

"Now it's better, brother. Hopefully the doctor will let you go home."

They also talk about many things. Kinan asked Zayna a lot about the process of pregnancy while pregnant with Baby Ars. Although now he is different from the brother-in-law because he has to really maintain his womb. There was at least something she knew about pregnancy.

Later the woman will ask the doctor, how to keep her pregnancy healthy. Even if he has to stay in bed. She had heard that pregnant women have to move a lot for their babies to be healthy. However, Kinan was the opposite.

The woman should not move much and should just sleep on the bed. Not to mention the medicine he had to take. Kinan could only pray that he could really get through all this, the baby was also healthy.

"Mas, let's go home! Fear Baby Ars is awake" Zayna asked her husband.

"Why is that in such a hurry, brother? Just arrived, we also chat for a while," said Kinan who also heard the talk of his brother.

"Baby Ars I live at home, Dhek. You're afraid it'll cry, you know for yourself that he's very spoiled."

"At home, there's Bik Ira, and he can take care of Baby Ars, honey. In a moment, yes, I still want to know Kinan's situation. I still want to talk to him" persuaded Ayman who still wants to talk to his sister.

He met very rarely because of each other. Especially now that they are no longer home. It was definitely getting more and more unable to meet.

"But, Mom, you'll know Baby Ars can't be with Auntie for long."

"Later Aunt will also call if Baby Ars is crying."

Zaina was upset by him, how could Ayman speak so easily. The distance from here to the house is quite far, almost thirty minutes. If he has to wait for aunt to call, it means he let Baby Ars cry. The woman does not have to heart to do that.

Zayna had already said that she could not leave for long. Ayman also agreed. But now the man does not want to go home. The woman was not used to being far from her son.

"Then I'll take a cab home, Mas. You also still want to talk to Kinan," said Zayna by trying to look ordinary. Although his heart was really upset and wanted to be angry at the husband.

"Don't, dong, honey. You go home alone, wait a minute" Ayman said.

"But, Mas ...."

"Just a minute, honey."

Zaina finally relented and waited a little longer. Hopefully his son won't cry. Fifteen minutes passed. However, there was no sign of Ayman taking her home. The man was even engrossed in talking to Hanif about work.

The woman approached her husband. He wants to bring Ayman back home. If this time the man did not want to go home either, he had to go home alone. Either take a taxi or ojek there only.

"Yes, hold on, honey.

"I'll just take a cab home, yeah, Mas. You have so much to talk about, too." Zayna passed by without waiting for an answer from her husband. He didn't want to hear any more rejection from Ayman.

The woman said goodbye to Mama Aisyah and Kinan. Ayman followed him from behind. Actually the man still wanted to talk to Hanif. There were some new business associates he wanted to ask his sister-in-law. However, Zayna just invited him home.

"Why is that in such a hurry, dear? It's still morning" asked Ayman in between steps.

"I told you, Mas. If I can go home alone, you can still talk to Hanif about your work. I also don't mean for you to make me go home, right," replied Zayna without looking at her husband.

The woman continued walking at a fast pace. I don't know why he was so worried. Maybe because this was the first time he had left his son for too long. Usually only a short time to the mini market.

Once in the parking lot, Zayna wanted to find a taxi. However, Ayman immediately prevented it. He's already here so, why take a taxi.

"Why take a taxi? I'm already here. Come on, I'll drive you home!" bring Ayman.

"Don't you still want to talk to Hanif?" ask Kinan in annoyance.

"It's not there, it's done," Ayman replied lying.

He could not have let the wife go home alone so, finally the man gave up and obeyed his wife's desire to go home. Ayman also knows that Zayna is upset with him. It was also because of her late self.

Zaina followed her husband to the car. On the way, the two remained silent. Not a single word was spoken. The woman stared at the crowded streets with vehicles, as well as people walking on the sidewalks.

The woman had already tried to contact Bik Ira who was at home. However, it was not lifted by the woman. Either the woman is busy with her job or with Baby Ars. Hopefully his son is not fussy.

Not long before the two finally got home. As soon as he got out of the car, Zayna could hear the sound of Baby Ars crying so loud. The woman immediately ran towards the water tap, to wash her hands and feet in front of the house. She had expected this to be her son crying for her.

Ayman, who saw Zayna running, followed her from behind. He stepped up quickly. The man could also hear the sound of his son crying.

"Baby Ars why, Bik?" asked Zayna while she was near her house assistant. He immediately took over the son and tried to swing him around.

"So waking up is okay, Neng. Not how long crying, Auntie love the milk that Neng squeezed earlier, but she even more crying. Aunty doesn't know what to do" replied Bik Ira who felt guilty.

"So long ago, Bik?"

"Nearly ten minutes," replied Bik Ira who was taken in by Zayna.

The woman was relieved, at least the son was crying not so long. Ten minutes for a baby to cry was common. Zayna tried to comfort her assistant. He didn't want Bik Ira to feel guilty for him.

"It's okay, Bik. Baby Ars is like that sometimes. He doesn't want to drink from the pacifier. He wants to be direct, don't use a dot."

Zayna took her son to the room and gave ASI there. It was fortunate that he could quickly go home otherwise, somehow his son would cry even more. Ayman followed his wife into the room. He felt guilty, should have been when Zayna took him home from the beginning. His wife must have had an instinct about the son.
