The Step Sister of Tiri

The Step Sister of Tiri
191. Meet the Kinan family

“Assalamualaikum,” Kinan said upon entering the house. He just got back from college.

“Waalaikumsalam,” says Mama Aida who is in the family room with Adam.

Kinan approached his in-laws and kissed the back of the middle-aged woman's hand. He approached Adam and rubbed the boy's head.

"Adam, all day playing with Oma?" ask Kinan who was possessed by the boy.

"Ma, I'd like to get Adam Nengokin Baby Ars, right? Or do you want to come with me?" ask Kinan to his father-in-law.

"No, you two go. Mama wants to be home, Mama's body doesn't taste good either."

"Mama's sick? Want to get us to the doctor?"

"No, you guys just go. Mama's just a little tired." Mama Aida said with a smile. The woman did not want to make her daughter-in-law worry.

"Well, Adam wants to come with Aunt to the baby's sister's house?" ask Kinan.

"You, Auntie."

"Now the toys are cleaned first. After that, you get ready, yeah!"

The boy nodded and tidied up his toys, while Kinan went to his room, to clean himself first. He also missed Baby Ars. For several days accompanying Adam in the hospital, the woman did not see the state of her nephew at all.

Usually Kinan always comes to visit to just meet Baby Ars or indeed there is a need with the family. After cleaning up, the woman called out to Adam who was in her room. He smiled looking at the appearance of the boy who already looked very neat.

Kinan was happy to see Adam who was very deft in doing every thing. Sometimes he felt ashamed of the boy. Whatever work he commanded, the boy was able to do it quickly. Unlike her who sometimes likes to be lazy.

"Are you ready?" ask Kinan.

"Already, Aunt. I'm neat, right? I don't want to embarrass Auntie." Adam looked at himself and saw it from the reflection of the glass.

"Of course not. Whatever you wear as long as it is clean and tidy, that is enough. Nor do you put Aunt to shame" replied Kinan who did not want Adam to feel guilty. "Come, we're leaving! We can't stay there long either. Later in the afternoon should be home soon, Om Hanif find us."

"Yes, Aunt."

Kinan held the boy's hand. The two walked out together. In the living room, there was still Mama Aida who was watching television. They say goodbye to the woman.

"Wouldn't you really want to come?" asked Kinan because usually his in-laws were always happy to be invited to meet Baby Ars, but today suddenly refused.

"Yes, no need. Just the two of you, Mama's gonna come along sometime."

"We leave first, if you need anything, just call me. Will I find it or do I want to drop something?"

"No need, you take good care of yourself. Be careful on the road."

"Yes, Ma. We'll go first." Kinan kissed the back of his in-laws hand, followed by Adam.

The two left the house after saying their regards. Along the way, Adam seemed happy. Several times he asked Kinan, he would pay a visit to whose house and what the owner of the house was like. Kinan also told me that they were going to his parents' house.

There was also her brother and sister-in-law. There was also a new-born nephew. Adam listened to everything well. As usual, he did not want to throw tantrums, which would anger Kinan.

"There are no toys for children your age, there are only toys for babies. You're not pa-pa, are you?" ask Kinan who is afraid that Adam will get bored there.

"No pa-pa, Auntie. I am not used to having toys either. I'll take care of the baby's sister."

Kinan smiled and nodded. "But the baby's sister can't be talked to, let alone played. She can only cry if there's something she wants so, Adam has to be patient later, huh?"

"Yes, Aunt."

Kinan actually asked Adam to introduce the boy to his family. Although there were currently only Mama Aisyah and Zayna at home, it didn't matter. Kinan would introduce them one by one.

"Aunty's house is very good, just like Oma Aida's house" Adam said, looking at the house in front of him and around.

"It's not Aunt's house, but Aunt's parents' second house."

"Yes, that means."

"Let's go in! Auntie will know them. You haven't had time to meet them yesterday because the baby's sister is also sick."

Adam nodded and walked along to where Kinan was stepping. As soon as she got to the door, the woman pressed the bell button beside the door. Not long after, someone finally opened it. Zayna opened the door.

"Assalamualaikum, Brother. How are you?" greet Kinan to his sister-in-law with a smile.

"Waalaikumsalam, good brother. You yourself how are you?" ask Zayna back.

"Alhamdulillah, good too. This is Adam. Adam, come Salim with Aunt Zayna!" kinan's Commandment to Adam.

"Hello, Aunt. My name is Adam" said the boy, kissing the back of Zayna's hand.

"Hello too, let's go in! We'll just go to the park next to the house. It just so happened that Baby Ars was there along with Mama Aisyah."

"Yes, come!"

Zayna took Kinan and Adam to the garden next to the house.

Kinan smiled at the presence of his mother who was sitting in a park chair while holding Baby Ars. "Assalamualaikum, Ma."

"Vaalaikumsalam. Uh, you're Kinan. Who is this handsome boy?" mama Aisyah asked when she saw the presence of a child there.

"Adam, ayo, kenalin diri dulu sama oma Aisyah," perintah Kinan.

Adam approached Mama Aisyah and shook hands with her. "Assalamualaikum, Oma. My name is Adam."

"It's so handsome, you. You can take food in the refrigerator. There's a lot of snacks for Adam, let him not be bored."

"Mama, I just arrived" said Kinan with a frown.

"Let me take it, Ma. Adam wanna go with Auntie? Want to take food, you can take your favorite," interrupted Zayna.

The boy looked towards Kinan, who was answered with a nod by the woman. "Yes, Aunt."

Zayna took Adam inside to pick up some snacks, while Kinan was still sitting next to his mother who was holding Baby Ars.

"Baby Ars is fine, Ma?" asked Kinan while watching his nephew.

"Yes, it's good. His name is also a small child, it must also be very easy to get sick, but thank God this child is also easily healed."

"Then I didn't get here because I was still keeping Adam in the hospital."

"Yes, Mama knows too. As for the boy, haven't you met his parents, Kin?"

"Yet, Ma. I also just found out that it turns out that he was deliberately thrown away by his parents so, it is impossible to see him too, unless someone else recognizes him."

Mama Aisyah looked at the princess who exhaled slowly several times. It was hard to find the parents of the boy.
