Kinan wriggled his body, trying to open his eyes. It was not usual for the woman to nap so soundly. It was only a moment before he woke up again. Maybe this is the effect of the medicine that the doctor gave her. Kinan tried to look at the clock on the wall, it was almost Ashar's time.
When she woke up, she was surprised to find Mama Aida beside her. His father-in-law was asleep, he must have been very tired. Kinan woke up slowly, he wanted to go to the bathroom. When she was done and out, the woman was surprised to find Adam sitting on the sofa.
"When have you been here? So surprised, why didn't you see?" ask Kinan by sitting next to the boy.
"I just got in, Ma. Mama was not in bed. I told you if you want to get up just call someone else, so you can help Mama. Fear of falling, in the bathroom's gonna be slippery."
"No, every morning the bathroom has been cleaned with your papa so, it can't be slippery."
"Oh yes, Ma. When I slept, someone came. He said he was the nurse that Papa sent. Not that Mama refused with the nurse at home, why is papa still sending?" adam asked, looking at his mother.
Kinan was surprised by what Adam said. She had indeed refused with the nurse, but why the husband still sent too. There was something Hanif was hiding. Mama Aida didn't say anything either.
"Masa, anyway! Papa you didn't say anything the same before. Wait a minute, let Mama see the phone first. Maybe papa's been calling." Kinan would stand, but was prevented by Adam.
The boy also took his mother's cell phone which was on the table beside the bed. Kinan turned on his phone, apparently there was a message from the husband. Hanif said that he would send a nurse from the hospital. It was also on the recommendation of doctors who are currently handling the state of Kinan.
The man said it was his decision. The doctor also strongly advised this. This is all for the good of Kinan and his future son. Inevitably the woman also finally accepted it.
Hanif also said that it will not be long, until Kinan is really good and healthy as before. The woman took a breath and slowly threw it away. Hopefully the situation quickly improves so as not to bother others anymore.
"How, Ma. Is it true that the nurse sent papa? Otherwise he should just be expelled, fearing that he is a bad person who will even harm Mama," said Adam.
"Really, really. That was the man papa sent. She's a nurse who works with doctors who handle Mama.”'s health
Kinan smiled at Adam. The boy was so considerate of her, even for things out of his head could be thought of by her. He just didn't think the nurse was a bad person. To be honest the woman did not like the existence of new people, but this was the decision of the husband.
All for the good of Kinan and his future son. Hopefully with the presence of the nurse, his health will improve faster. He can also do everything on his own, without the help of others like now.
"He still doesn't know where his room is, Ma. His stuff is still in the living room, his people are there too."
Kinan straightened his body, how could Adam allow people to wait for him for so long. "Darling, why didn't you say that! Poor him must have waited a long time. Come on, let's go there!"
The woman will walk there. However, Adam stops him and asks his mother to sit in a wheelchair. Let him push. Kinan complied and sat in a wheelchair. Adam happily pushed it even though it had no effect whatsoever because the chair the woman was wearing could be moved with the button in Kinan's hand.
When I arrived at the living room, I saw a woman wearing white clothes. He also carried a suitcase beside him. The nurse smiled at Kinan, who was also smiling at him.
"Good day, Mom. My name is Erin, I am the nurse sent by Mr. Hanif. I will accompany you anywhere from today" he said, bowing his head.
"Yes, my husband also said that. I'm sorry I was sleeping so I didn't know you were coming. Just my son told me."
Kinan nodded and said, "May I ask you something? I hope you answer it honestly."
"Yes, Mom. Go ahead, what do you want to ask?" The nurse's face looked tense.
Erin was afraid that what Kinan was asking was something she could not answer. Maybe something too difficult. The woman got this job with a high salary from Hanif. Erin really hopes to keep working here. He really needs a lot of money, for his sisters who are still studying.
"Are you married? If not, do you have a boyfriend?" Kinan looked at Erin's face intently. Looking at the woman from top to bottom, she did have an ideal body. Just like the nurses in general.
"No, Ma. I'm not married and I don't have a boyfriend."
Kinan nodded his head slowly. There was a sense of unease upon hearing the answer from the woman in front of him. However, as much as possible he thinned his mind. Kinan wished that the nurse was indeed a truly good person and had no intentions whatsoever on his family.
"You follow me, I'll show you where your room is" said Kinan who then turned his wheelchair upside down.
Erin pulls the suitcase, following where the new employer took her. He was happy that Kinan accepted his presence. Earlier this morning Hanif said that his wife refused with the nurse. That was why Hanif paid him dearly because the woman had to convince Kinan to accept it.
Without the man knowing if Erin did not need to persuade Kinan because the woman had already agreed, even before they met. Kinan headed to the room in the back next to Bik Ira's room. There are two rooms for house assistants. Kinan could have given Erin the guest room because the nurse was only temporary. However, he was still not willing and wanted to test the woman's kindness.
"This is your room, now you're going to sleep here. Next to it is Bik Ira's room. Have you met Bik Ira? She also works here, as a domestic assistant."
"Already, Mom. I have met before, but have not been able to get acquainted," said Erin so politely.
"Later you talk to Bik Ira yourself. He is a good person, not difficult to communicate with. I hope you can be comfortable living here."
"Thank you, Mom." Erin slightly lowered her head. "Mom, I can't come home every Sunday" the nurse continued before Kinan left.
"It just so happens that my husband's Sunday is off so, it doesn't matter if you want to go home. Where are you going on Sunday? Why home? Is your house close?"
"Yes, Mom, I want to go home. I also have to give pocket money to my siblings. I also ask that my salary be given every Sunday only," said Erin.
Actually, the girl felt bad about salary when she had not worked. But how else. He needed the money for the daily needs of his family. Especially her school.
Kinan watched Erin carefully. Looks like the nurse is a nice girl. However, it wasn't that easy that he believed in a newly known person. Kinan did not want to be fooled by the innocent face of a girl. Too often he sees the fake face of the present. Especially those pretending to be innocent.
