146. About Nayla

“Kinan,” call Farah when the girl just got out of her car.

“Hai, Farah. Good morning?” greet Kinan while smiling.

“Again, you've heard the latest news yet?”

“What news?” asked Kinan back while frowning because he did not know anything. The girl thought it was about her. However, his guess turned out to be wrong.

“About his family Nayla. Apparently Nayla's father was cheating. More precisely have another wife and more surprising, their restaurant is threatened with bankruptcy.”

Kinan stopped his steps. He was really surprised to hear that. He did not know the news about the Nayla family at all. The girl also did not read newspapers or watch television shows.

Since this morning Kinan had also not seen his cell phone so, he had no idea what news was today. The girl was sure that if everything that happened to Nayla, it must have been her papa. However, Kinan did not expect that what his papa had revealed was very surprising. This news has nothing to do with Papa Hadi. It was purely a matter of the Nayla family. However, still Kinan felt guilty because his papa who dismantled everything.

“Ba–bankrupt why?” tanya Kinan stammered. There was a sense of pity and fear that suddenly flashed.

“Why are you daydreaming, Kin?” farah asked while patting her friend's shoulder.

“Yes, hopefully someday I can meet a good male figure.”

“Kinan, wait! From last night I called you, but why didn't you pick it up at all?” ask Niko.

“Is there a necessity if I have to pick up your call? I don't think it matters, so I didn't pick it up, ” Kinan said cynically.

“Kinan, please don't be like this. You have always been kind to me and everyone, why are you like this now? Did being with Mr Hanif make the Kinan I know change?”

Kinan laughed sarcastically at what Niko said. Doesn't the man bring himself to reflect, isn't the changed him himself, why blame others instead? However, arguing with Niko was useless so, it was better that he just leave from there.

When Kinan stepped his foot, again the man blocked the road, making the girl even more upset. Even Farah who was beside him was also furious because Niko was like a man who did not know himself. It used to be him who left Kinan himself and preferred Nayla. Now that his lover is broke and there are problems with his family, the man wants to go back with Kinan.

“Niko, be a man with pride. Don't humble yourself like this, just once you betray me by choosing someone else who can give you more material. For this time try to be loyal to Nayla. She's a good girl, she's always been meeting your needs. Now it's time for you to go with him. Now he needs someone who is always by his side. Give him some spirit."

Kinan tried to give understanding. He hoped that the man would understand and change his mind. No one in this world is perfect. So is Niko, who wants perfection without trying. However, it seemed like his efforts were in vain because he still kekeh wanted to part with Nayla.
