The Step Sister of Tiri

The Step Sister of Tiri
266. S2 - Want to go

Without both realizing it, Kinan was standing in front of Adam's bedroom door. He heard everything his two sons were talking about. When Zea came out earlier, the woman was hiding beside the wall so, not looking. Kinan was saddened by what his daughter felt.

However, he could not do much because Hanif was very against that feeling. The woman decided to meet the princess in her room. Kinan could not let Zea feel the sadness alone. He would not let the princess feel alone.

"Darling, can Mama come in?" ask Kinan while knocking on the room door.

No response from the room owner. The woman decided to just open it, thankfully the door was not locked. He looked at Zea who was lying on the bed and covered her entire body with a blanket. Kinan knew that his current daughter must be sad.

The woman sat on the edge of the bed wiping Zea's body covered in a blanket. He could feel how big of a wound his daughter was feeling. Kinan will try to make his daughter not sad anymore.

"You want to tell Mama the same story? Didn't you ever say that Mama is also your friend so, let's just say that now Mama is your friend," said Kinan who was trying to take his daughter's heart to tell a story.

Zea still did not move in the slightest. Kinan was not able to see it. "Sorry Mama, yes, dear. Mama didn't become a mother, she made you like this" she continued with tears.

Her guilt towards the princess was so great that it made her heart so hurt. Zea, who heard her mother's crying voice, soon got up. Kinan could see the tears in the princess' eyes even though it had been removed. The two hugged each other, spilling the pain in each other's hearts.

Tears and sobs seemed to give an answer if both of them had wounds. For a long time the two shed tears, until Zea finally broke her embrace and wiped her tears slowly. The girl tried to smile at her mother.

"Ma, can I ask you something?"

"Ask what, dear?"

"Let me go. I want to stay with Oma Aida and go to college there, and accompany Opa and Oma."

Kinan was surprised to hear that, he asked in a sad tone. "You want to leave Mama?"

"Just for a second, really. Ma's. Until I can completely forget my feelings for Brother Adam. I can't stay here, it'll only add to my heartache. Especially now that Aini is also angry with me, there is no place for me to tell each other. Mama please ask papa for permission, Mama can definitely persuade papa."

"But Mama doesn't want to be away from you, honey. You are Mama's son."

"Mama can come there if Mama misses, all of you can also meet oma and Opa. I beg you, Ma. It's the only thing that can heal my wounds slowly."

Kinan actually did not want to be far away with his daughter. However, when he saw the face of his daughter who was so injured, he did not have the heart. Finally inevitably the woman nodded, she would try to help Zea ask her husband for permission.

"Mama's gonna try to talk to me, but Mama doesn't promise that your dad will let her."

"I believe in Mama. Mama can certainly persuade papa," said Zea so confidently. He knows Kinan's abilities. "Mama must promise not to tell anyone first, including Brother Adam."

"Why?"

"I just don't want to add to the problem," Zea replied soberly, Kinan who understood her daughter's intentions could only nod.

Early in the morning the door of the Hanif family home was knocked by someone from outside. Kinan who was cleaning the living room immediately opened the door. It turned out that Aina was coming, the woman was smilingly welcoming her. Last night his daughter complained that no one wanted to get close to her anymore, now that her niece was coming.

Hopefully it can make Zea cancel her wish to move. Kinan longed to ask Aina to persuade her daughter not to leave, but she had already promised not to tell anyone.

“Assalamualaikum, Aunt,” greet Aina by kissing the back of the woman's hand.

“I want to see Zea, Aunt,” said Aina in between her steps entering the house.

“She's still in the room, you just come in.”

“Thank you, Auntie. I'm in first.”

Kinan nodded as he watched his nephew's departure. She wants Zea back to what she used to be, cheerful and chatty. Not the present, always sad and have no spirit of life. Hopefully with the arrival of Aina her daughter changes even if only a little.

Aina knocked on the door three times, sounding authentic from within asking her to come in. Zea who was inside thought it was her mother or other house dwellers who invited her to eat. The girl was certainly very surprised when she saw who had come, she .not expecting if her cousin would come.

“Kok, just shut up! Usually if you do not meet for a few days, already miss and hug me. Why is there no such welcome now?” aina asked with a frown. Zea immediately hugged her cousin, as did Aina who returned the hug.

A drop of tears fell down Zea's cheek. The girl quickly rubbed it so as not to make Aina know. He is very happy with the arrival of his cousin though has not said what his purpose is. Zea took Aina to her bed, where they used to joke around.

Now there are only two of them, while Aini is still angry with him. However, as much as possible the two did not discuss it. They do not want to spoil the atmosphere that must be this, let Aini's business be resolved later.

“How are you? When can you go back to college? It seems like a very long time ago,” asked Aina to start the conversation.

“In the meantime,” Zea replied accordingly.

He didn't want to tell anyone at the moment. His father has not yet agreed on his departure. Later when it will approach her day, then the girl will tell Aina.

“Zea, on behalf of Aini, I'm sorry. He's just being solemn, please don't enter the heart of whatever he says and he does.”

“Aini did nothing, why apologize. It is precisely me who is wrong here,” said Zea who then looked at her cousin.

"Aina, aren't you jealous of us?"

"Why should I be jealous?" asked Aini with a frown.

"You don't have to pretend you don't understand. I know you actually have a crush on Adam's sister, right?" zea asked as well as teasing his cousin.

"I have no crush on Adam's sister, Zea. You misunderstand me, my love for Brother Adam is just amazed. At first I was envious of Aini, when she could freely express her heart. In my heart I also want to be like him because of that I am interested in Brother Adam, but as time goes on, it turns out that the taste I have for Brother Adam is just a matter of liking. There is no love in it. After knowing that Brother Adam wanted to get married, I was surprised, but there was no jealousy in my heart. If I really love Adam, shouldn't I be angry and jealous of that woman? I'm actually ordinary."

Zea smiled as she nodded her head. If only he were like Aina, this matter would not be this complicated. However, changing feelings is not as easy as being said on the lips. The word heals the wound of love with a new love, what the girl must find.

Zea and Aina told me a lot about the campus and also about the people around. Zea felt a little comforted by the arrival of the cousin, at least the girl could forget for a moment the problem. Mama Kinan also brought breakfast for the two to the room. The woman knew if the children still wanted to tell stories so, she did not want to disturb the two.

Not to forget also Mama Kinan brought snacks for them to relax. Zea and Aini felt bad about having to be served by her mother. However, the woman assured me that all this was fine. Especially when he saw his daughter's face that seemed a little story, it made him more relieved.
