The Sanctity of Tarnished Love

The Sanctity of Tarnished Love
Crying Alone

"Sleep! It's late at night, I'll go to the bathroom first" Fajar said as he walked away.

Dusk stared at the departure of Dawn, while dripping a clear circle from the corner of his eyes. Drop by drop the tears fell, and soaked both of her smooth cheeks. The body of Dawn had disappeared behind the bathroom door. But Dusk has not budged from its place. His body was still standing still, and only his tears were speaking.

Shortly after, Dawn came out of the bathroom. He looked at his wife who was still standing crying. Dawn stepped closer to Dusk, then she grabbed the body of Dusk, and carried it into her arms.

"Don't cry!" said Fajar while rubbing the back of Dusk. He faintly felt his chest start to get wet.

"I'm sorry Twilight, I'm a dick. I shouldn't have deserved to be with you, but now you're my wife. Adara, you really messed up my life!" he said dawn in his heart.

Dawn hugged Dusk more tightly, his heart went along with her when she heard the twilight that was quite loud.

"I don't want to hurt you, that's why I don't want to touch you baby. But, I don't know how to explain it to you." Inwardly Dawn closed her eyes.

"I'm tired Brother, I want to rest!" said Dusk suddenly, while releasing her husband's embrace.

"All right, let's go to bed!" take Fajar while holding the hand of Dusk.

"No, brother, I'll sleep in the next room. I need some time alone." replied Dusk as he wiped his tears.

"But Dusk, I..."

"Please understand! Like I'm trying to understand your way of mind." said Dusk while turning his body. Then he stepped out of the room, leaving Dawn alone.

"I'm sorry Twilight." said Dawn slowly. He looked down while holding his head, all this was too painful for him.

After Dusk completely left, Dawn sat on the sofa of her room. He covered his face with both hands. A shadow about the past flashed back in his memory.

"If only I could resist my passion, it probably wouldn't be like this. Why am I late to realize it, know this way I will never marry Dusk. Now that she's all gone, she's already my wife. I'm being honest, and letting him go, it's gonna hurt him. But holding her to remain my wife, it would also hurt her. I should how?" say Dawn alone.

Dawn ruffled her hair violently, while occasionally growling in annoyance.

"There's no way out of all this, I really hate myself being so stupid!" grumbled Fajar while clenching his hands.

At the same time in a different place. The sun is sitting alone on the bed. He hid his head on both knees. Tears, unrelenting divorce on her cheeks. It was not this kind of marriage that he wanted, but a real marriage. Faced with the cynical attitude of her mother-in-law, maybe Dusk can still be tough. But in the face of this Dawn-like attitude, it felt as if his heart was claustrophobic, and shattered into pieces.

"What are you really hiding from me, brother? Could there be another woman, whom you are guarding her heart. Then what do I mean in your life, your attitude really makes me hurt." said Dusk on the sidelines of his cry.

Long enough Dusk cried alone, occasionally he stared at the tightly closed door of the room. Surely he was eager, Dawn came after him, and persuaded him to return to the room. But in fact not, it has been more than half an hour Dawn did not also show the trunk of his nose.

"You're my husband Brother, I also have a right to know about you. From this moment on I will find out about Adara, as important as she was in your past, but I will never let her be present in our household." said Dusk while squeezing the end of her dress.

***

The dawn had just dawned on the eastern horizon. Spitting out her beautiful pink light. The twilight that had just awoken from his sleep, baranjak from the bed, and stepped near the window. Dusk lifted his curtain, staring at the morning atmosphere that was still quiet, and quiet.

The highway not far from his apartment was crowded. Many cars, and motorbikes that drove down the road, no matter the cold morning wind. I don't know where they're headed Dusk knows, and he doesn't want to know either. Why take care of others, if his life is still full of stifling chaos.

Dusk stared at the increasingly orange rays of dawn. Maybe soon the sun will appear to greet the day. Dawn, a name that means sunrise. While Dusk, a name that means sunset. Two things are created to complement each other, two things always go hand in hand, and two things are perfected.

Dusk lowered his head, as his hands gripped the window curtain very tightly. The marriage she originally imagined would be as beautiful as dawn, as dusk, and as warm as the sun. But in fact not, the wedding is now like a starless night. Cold, quiet, dark, and gripping. What really happened to Dawn, what did the man hide from her? That's one question that always swirls in the mind of Dusk.

"Well, why is this so painful!" moaning as he bit his lips.

After he finished changing his clothes, and washing his face, Dusk rushed to the kitchen. Although her heart was upset, but she had to continue to carry out her duties as a wife, namely cooking for her husband.

It's been an hour of twilight in the kitchen. Mushroom soup, and the chicken beige is done, just serve it on the dining table. But Dawn had not yet come out of her room, whether she was still sleeping, or indeed deliberately avoiding Dusk.

When Dusk was washing dirty equipment. Suddenly the apartment bell rang. Twilight frowned, who is visiting so early? Maybe it was her in-laws, but she usually just walked in.

Without many words Dusk stepped towards the main door. He quickly opened the door, and it was Alvin who came.

"Sister Alvin!" greet Dusk with a smile.

Alvin did not answer immediately, he looked at his sister's face long enough. At that time the eyes of Dusk look reckless, and red.

"You've been crying?" ask Alvin without a stale base.

Dusk gasped in surprise, he was a little nervous as he saw Alvin still staring at him.

"No, brother, I just cooked. It was just a little bit painful, because it was exposed to red onions." replied Dusk lying.

"I'm not a little boy Nja! Tell me why you're crying!" Alvin.

"It's bad, if until Brother Alvin knows why I'm crying, it can be beaten by Kak Fajar" said Dusk in his heart.

"I'm not crying, brother, it's just the onion. I seriously didn't lie" said Dusk trying to convince Alvin.

Alvin did not have time to talk again, suddenly Dawn came to them. Wrapped in casual pants, and a short white t-shirt, Dawn looked very handsome that morning.

"Hi Vin, long time no see, how are you?" greet Fajar with a big smile, as his hand patted Alvin's shoulder.

"Good morning dear." said Fajar while hugging Dusk, and kissed her forehead at a glance.

Alvin looked at them with a hint of suspicion, Dawn's smile looking exaggerated, while Dusk, he looked nervous and misbehaved. What the hell's going on?

"Good news, what about you?" ask Alvin.

"We're good too, let's go in Vin!" the word Fajar invites Alvin in, and sits on the living room couch.

"I make coffee first yes, you also prepare breakfast" said Dusk as he stepped away.

"Yes dear." replied Fajar with a smile.

"Don't pretend anymore, what happened to you?" ask Alvin quickly.

Looking at the reckless twilight eyes, and the seemingly insincere smile of Dawn. Alvin suspects that something is going on with them.

Dawn fell silent, he knew very well the nature of Alvin. He loved his sister very much, and he hated it when someone hurt him.

"Choosing Dusk as a wife, maybe this is indeed a mistake. But what I had to do, it was all done." Inward Dawn in his heart.
