The Sanctity of Tarnished Love

The Sanctity of Tarnished Love
Refusing Dika

"You're leaving now?" sella asked while trying to smile. Actually deep in his heart he felt very upset.

"Yes, it's almost too late" replied Ken as he moved from his seat.

"Then I'm leaving now, too, Ken. I happen to have a little business." said Sella as she moved along.

"Oh so yeah."

"Yes, mmm then I go first huh. Don't forget to eat the irony, if you like, I'll make it for you sometime" Sella said as she walked away leaving Ken still standing in his place.

"Yes." replied Ken briefly.

"I'm not going to give up Ken, no matter how you have to be mine. Dusk is already a widow, I won't lose to her." Sella's mind closed the door to Ken's room.

"No matter what way you approach me, forever you won't be able to take the place of Dusk." Ken's inner gaze at Sella's body began to disappear behind the door.

After Sella leaves, Ken resumes his work. He again submerged himself into the files that were still piled up on his desk.

Soon the door of the room opened again, apparently Anna came.

"Sir Kenzo doesn't eat?" ask Anna before sitting in her chair.

"Later I'll eat, now I'm still finishing my little work." replied Ken.

"Oh yes sir." said Anna as she stepped towards her desk.

"Anna!" call Ken.

"Yes sir." replied Anna, turning her head.

"Take this!" ken said while propping up the bronis that Sella left behind for him.

"For me?"

"Yes." Yeah."

"But.." said Anna while accepting the bronis hesitantly.

"I don't like the people, so I don't like the food either. Next time that woman comes here, just tell her I'm not there" Ken said, staring at Anna.

"Good Sir."

"Yes back to work!"

"Yes sir." replied Anna.

About two hours later, Ken felt tired, and tired. Then he decided to go home, and go back to work tomorrow.

He glanced at the circular clockwork in his hand, already at half three.

"Anna, I'll go home first. I'll finish my desk before you go home!" ken said as he got up from his seat, and stepped away from his chair.

"Well sir." replied Anna, staring at Ken's departure.

After Ken is not in the room, Anna opens the bronis that were given to her. Heart-shaped steamed bronis with cheese grater on top. Anna frowned when she saw that there was a fold of paper there. Anna took it, and read the writing.

"May you understand Ken." Anna muttered softly.

"The mother who liked Mr. Kenzo. It is fitting that Mr. Kenzo feels uncomfortable if he comes here." said Anna slowly.

***

In the midst of the dimness of the night, two people were sitting together on a long bench, on the porch of the house. They were Dika, and Dusk, they were having a pretty serious chat.

Alvin, and Nina are not home, they went to the club an hour ago.

Since getting married two months ago, Nina has not worked in an office. He only helped Alvin with his work, and sometimes also helped Dusk make cookies.

"Alley!" call Dika.

Dusk did not answer, he just turned his head, and stared fixedly at Dika.

"I really love you Twilight. I want to marry you, if you're already a lahiran. I will love your son, I will regard him as my own son. Do you still not give me a chance Dusk." said Dika while staring at Dusk.

He loved the woman sitting in front of him, but her heart was frozen. Somehow to melt it.

"Sorry, I can't. I still love Dawn, and she left also brings love to me. I don't want to tarnish our marriage. I'm sorry Brother." replied Dusk while looking down.

"So you're young, your future is long. Not that I underestimated you, but taking care of the child alone was not an easy thing either. Alvin is now married, he has responsibilities to his wife, and maybe later to his son. Are you sure you can get through your life alone? No backrest, no friends to share the burden" Dika said at length.

"I know it's hard, brother, but I'll try to get through it" said Dusk.

"You sure you can do it?"

"If you ask me I'm sure, or not, I can't answer either. As a human being, I only plan. I try so hard to survive in solitude. But I also do not know, what fate will happen in my life later." replied Dusk at length.

"So you still have hope to open your heart twilight?"

"I don't know either. I always try to close it, but I also do not know what will happen in the future." replied Dusk.

"You should have opened your heart twilight. I know you love each other, but you also deserve to be happy, you can't torture yourself like this" Dika said.

"You don't understand, brother. All you know is that Brother Fajar died, but you don't understand the regret, and the guilt I feel. That's why I try to survive in solitude. Because I don't want to betray him a second time." said Dusk in his heart.

"I know you haven't let go of Dawn yet, I know you still feel lost. Dusk, may I wait for you? I will patiently wait, until the time comes you can accept my presence by your side." said Dika while holding the hand of Dusk.

"Don't Brother!" answer Dusk while shaking.

"I'm not sure if I can open my heart, or not. I don't want you to be disappointed Brother." said Dusk as he pulled his hand.

"Silence..."

"I don't want to give you false hope. If I allow you to wait for me, then what if forever I can't open my heart. Isn't that very disappointing to you Brother." said Dusk.

Dika did not reply, he just let out a long sigh, and exhaled violently. He harbored such a deep feeling, but Dusk did not also understand. Various ways he has done to get his heart, but in fact the woman also still persists with his feelings. Is that how much his love for Dawn is?

"Sir Dika!" call Dusk while touching Dika's arm.

She looked back, looking at the woman she had always loved.

"I'm sorry, but may I say what I want to say" said Dusk.

"Tell me!" answer Dika.

"You are a good man, I am sure God has prepared a good soul mate for you as well. It's time for you to pursue your future, and pursue your happiness. I wish you all the best." said Dika, staring at Dika.

"I'm chasing him, so let me wait for you!" sahut Dika's.

"No brother, I don't mean me." replied Dusk, shaking his head.

"But Dusk..."

"I don't want to keep disappointing you. Please forget your feelings for me, brother, because I can't necessarily repay them. Look for another woman, I'm sure you can." said Dusk with a long sigh.

He was not comfortable saying this, but Dika was not willing to give up. Dusk did not want to constantly hurt him.

"All right! I understand, I understand Dusk." replied Dika in a stifled voice.

"Maybe until whenever you can't have twilight. Alright, although this is very heavy, but I will try to accept it. I'll pull back at Dusk, may you be happy with your choice!" said Dika in his heart.

Then he picked up a cigarette, and then lit it.
