The Sanctity of Tarnished Love

The Sanctity of Tarnished Love
Meet Ken

The dawn breathed a long breath. His lips faintly covered a smile. I don't know what's on his mind, only he knows.

Dawn removed her seatbelt, and then she got out of the car. He stepped into apartment number 12 on the second floor.

A few minutes later, Dawn arrived at its destination. He stood in the doorway, arranging his heart for a while before striking the bell that was there.

With conviction, and unanimous determination, Dawn pressed the bell. And soon the apartment door opened.

There was a handsome young man, with long hair. Standing straight, he looked at Fajar with a look of wonder.

"Please enter!" ken said while trying to smile.

"Brist, what's he coming here for?" ken said in his heart.

"Thank you." replied Fajar as he stepped inside.

He continued walking, and sat on the living room sofa.

Ken followed him behind, then he sat down in front of Dawn.

"Are you Kenzo Antonio Son?" tanya Fajar started the conversation.

"Yes, it's me." replied Ken.

"What is this, what about Dawn knew about that night." - Ken in his heart.

"I'm Dawn, her husband Dusk." said Fajar with a long sigh.

Long enough to pause his sentence, it took a little time to string the right words.

"Please!" said Ken while thrusting the cigarette that was on the table.

"I don't smoke." replied Dawn.

"Oh sorry."

"It's okay, actually I came here to talk a little bit about you. Pretty important!" the word dawn is serious.

"What thing?"

"You love Dusk?" ask Dawn.

Ken gasped in shock upon hearing Dawn's question. The man asked a pretty sensitive question so calmly. Is he so good at hiding emotions, or does he have no jealousy?

"What do you ask, Aya is your wife, how may I love her" Ken replied lying.

"You sure?"

"Of course, he's just my past. Our relationship is over, there are no feelings between us." replied Ken quickly.

"But she's pregnant with your child" Fajar said casually.

The words of Dawn are like lightning that strikes in the middle of the day. So surprising! Ken's sweat slowly began to wet his forehead. Could it be that his mistake that night, was fatal like this?

"A-.what do you mean?" ask Ken nervously.

"I know everything, Dusk told me. And it seems like you also know what happened to me." Fajar replied as he looked at Ken.

"I.i.m..."

"I don't need your explanation, all I need is your answer! You still love Dusk?" ask the Dawn more firmly.

Ken scratched his non-itchy head, he was at a loss as to what to answer. If you answer no, whether Dawn will be that easy to believe. With him coming here, he must already have a lot of information about him.

And if he answers yes, ahh how much of a bitch he is. Aborting the household of a person with an illness. Ken knows what happened to Adara. And indirectly, he can also guess what the disease is Dawn.

"My answer!" the word Dawn with a higher voice.

"What do you mean ask me this? I'm sorry I knew I was wrong, but that night was just a mistake, I had no intention of taking Aya away from you" Ken said.

"You have no intention of taking Dusk from me?"

"No!"

"Well!" ken shouted in surprise.

What does this mean, what is his disease that has made his brain runny. Is he a little crazy now. He gave his wife to another man who had been his lover. Oh no, what kind of reality is this.

"I couldn't keep him company for a long time. And I would be happy, if there was a man who loved him sincerely, and could make him happy" said Fajar, he ignored Ken's shock.

"Whatchu mean? Aya it loves you!" said Ken. Now he began to realize, if the man sitting in front of him was desperate.

"I know." replied Dawn casually.

"Then why would you want to give it to me? You think he wants to. You hear, the one she loves is you, she'll be happy to be your wife" Ken said.

"You don't understand Ken, this marriage didn't make him happy, but it hurt him. I can't do my duty as a husband, and I know that's enough to torture his mind." said Fajar slowly.

"You're wrong, you can do it. Even have children you can, as long as you want to follow the directions of the doctor. As long as you..."

"Enough! I know more about myself. Save your theory, because not all ODHA can do it." said Fajar while getting up from his seat.

"I know you still love her, and for that I came here. Promise me to always take care of him, when I can no longer accompany him." continued Fajar.

"You don't go crazy! He doesn't love me, the one he loves is you! Never give up on your illness, Aya needs you so much!" said Ken while moving.

Dawn did not answer Ken's words, he only responded with a bland smile.

"You see this! He doesn't love me at all, he loves you so much." Ken said, prodding his cell phone, and showing him a short message that Dusk had sent him.

Dawn receives the phone, and reads the message Ken showed. Dawn smiled bitterly, because of her stupidity in the past, now her love destiny is so painful.

"I understand better how he feels. Ken promise me." said Fajar, patting Ken on the shoulder.

"I.i.m..."

"If you're not willing, I'll ask someone else to take care of him." said Fajar.

"Don't! I'm..."

"Please promise!" word Dawn.

"All right! Well, I promise I'll always take care of him." said Ken.

"Thank you." replied Fajar as he walked away.

Without saying a word, he stepped out of the apartment.

Ken looked at Dawn's departure with a pushy look, what had just happened made his heart churn. He could see clearly how pale the face of Dawn was.

"Why does Dawn now give up, how bad is the disease?" ken said alone.

"Stupidly I was, I should have held back that night. Dawn must have been devastated after knowing this reality. You idiot! You idiot! You idiot! I could have disturbed their household" Ken said, ruffling his hair violently.

"Now what should I do. Aya why your love story is this complicated." said Ken while covering his face with both hands.

Meanwhile Dawn continued to walk towards the apartment courtyard. He got into his car, and sat at the wheel.

Dawn stared at his hand that was gripping the steering wheel of the car. A faint smile seemed to be etched on his lips.

"Only I understand about Dusk, and about this marriage. Although according to everyone giving up is a cowardly act, but for me this is the best" said Fajar with a distant mind.

Dawn remembers the swearing of Arrion who said it was crazy, knowing he started to give up. And Ken just said the same thing. But they only saw from one side, that's why they insisted on telling Dawn to stay. They never understood what he was, and Dusk felt.

"You know where disappointment comes from, it's from someone we think is special. And that's how I feel right now. I know I am despicable, and sinful. But I am also an ordinary person, who feels pain when my love is betrayed. I know all this is not purely his fault, for I am also guilty. I was wrong for not being able to do it for Dusk." said Fajar.

Dawn stared at the medicine package that was inside the plastic bag, which she had placed in the car. The package of medicine that is still intact, but the drug should have been taken since two weeks ago.

"I'm free to take medicine, because there's no hope of recovery. What use am I trying to endure, my presence only becomes a wound, and a burden. So it's better to give up, let this disease lead me to death" said Fajar with tears in his eyes.

"I hope my departure will be the beginning of your happiness Dusk!" whispered the dawn very slowly.
