On a long bench on the porch of his house. Dusk sat while staring at the drizzly droplets that fell soaking the flowers in his courtyard. Beside him, Ken was sitting while sipping the black coffee he had just brewed.
Ken came to visit him a few hours ago, and he hasn't come home yet. It was Alvin, and Nina was out.
"Eat the fruit of Aya, you want oranges, or apples, let me peel." said Ken while staring at Dusk sitting quietly beside him.
It was very calm, Dusk did not speak at all, and also did not move much.
"I'm still full of Ken." replied Dusk as he glanced at Ken at a glance.
"That's it." said Ken. Though at that time, he really hoped that Dusk would eat the fruit he brought.
Dusk lowered, his eyes staring at the flip-flops attached to his feet. The more days his relationship with Ken gets better. But not only that, the mistake of the night was also getting more and more tightly imprinted in his memory. Ken's presence always reminds him of his old wounds.
"Yes!" call Ken.
"Hmm."
"What food do you really want to eat? Just tell Aya, you know I really want to buy you something you like. But the pregnant woman said it was different, her favorite was not the same as a normal day. So I can't guess what you want, so please tell Aya, so I can understand" Ken said as he stared fixedly at Dusk.
"I.e." said Dusk nervously, seeing the look on Ken's face that bore disappointment, he felt a little guilty.
"Tell me what you want."
"I don't want anything Ken. That fruit I actually like, only now I'm still full. I'll eat it later." said Dusk with a smile.
"You didn't lie to me Aya?"
"Of course not, you can ask Alvin if you don't believe it. Every time you bring fruit, I eat it." replied Dusk.
"really?" asked Ken while staring fixedly at Dusk.
"You don't believe it?" answer the twilight back asking.
"Not to believe, it's just..."
"All right, then I'll get the orange!" sahut Dusk while staring at Ken.
"Don't push yourself, don't because I'm talking like that, so you want to eat it" Ken said, scratching his head.
"Don't be childish, you make me dilemma Ken." said Dusk with a crisp laugh. Ken's behavior is very funny, he thinks.
"I don't think I believe in today Aya, you laugh so crisply. After we split up, for the first time I can make you laugh like this. May my wait not be in vain Aya." said Ken in his heart.
"Ken! Ken!" she shouted as her hands shook Ken's arms.
"Why?"
"You shut up, I'm talking to you, but you're not answering. What's up?" ask Dusk while looking at Ken.
"There's nothing, I'm just thinking about you." replied Ken with a smile, as he clasped the hand of Dusk holding his arm.
"I'm happy to make you laugh Aya" said Ken slowly. He looked at the face of Dusk right in front of him.
Dusk fell silent, his heart beating rapidly. Ken's gaze at the time reminded him of the past, a time when he and Ken filled each other's hearts.
Dusk lowered his head, trying to control his increasingly unreasonable heartbeat. What's up with him? Is that how quickly his heart changed?
"Yes!" call Ken.
Dusk did not reply, but he raised his face, and looked at Ken who was smiling in front of him.
"Now you shut up, why? You're thinking of me, aren't you?" ken Goda.
Dusk lowered his head again, hiding his cheeks that began to blush. Ken really hasn't changed, since Ken was very reliable making himself blush in shame.
"You really think about me?" seductive Ken laughed, as his hands cupped his twilight cheeks, and forced the woman to look him in the eyes.
Not yet had Dusk answer Ken's words, suddenly there was someone who came to them. She was Dika, not since when did she come. Ken, and Dusk did not notice it at all.
Suddenly, Ken turned his head. Dusk pulled his hand quickly, and then inched slightly away. As for Ken, he only smiled while raising his eyebrows.
"Dare to compete with me, must dare to accept defeat." Ken's inner self in his heart.
"Kak Dika." said Dusk.
Dika did not answer, but he immediately landed his ass on the bench, in front of Ken and Dusk.
Dika sat down while folding his hands on his chest, with the look of his eyes that remained sharp.
"Where's Alvin?" ask Dika.
"Sir Alvin is out." replied Dusk.
"Where?"
"Shop."
"Is it old?" ask Dika.
"I don't know either" replied Dusk.
"I'll wait for her" Dika said with a slanted smile.
And Dusk answered him with only a nod.
"Senja, didn't you make me coffee?" dika asked after a moment of silence.
"I will make it." said Dusk as he moved from his seat. Then he stepped away leaving Ken, and Dika.
Now only Ken, and Dika who sat facing each other, and stared intently at each other. The two understood, if each of them harbored jealousy.
"What are you doing with Dusk? You're just his past, you shouldn't have to be back in his life!" dika said firmly.
"You have no right to say that to me. It should be you who went away from Aya's life, because her future is me." replied Ken casually.
"Don't be too confident! You're just his past, you have no rights. I am his friend Dawn, I have more right to take care of him. Dawn will be more willing if Dusk is with me, not with you!" snarled Dika as he moved from his seat.
"Don't carry around the name of Dawn, because you'd be disappointed if you knew the truth. You know, Fajar left Aya to me, he trusted me to look after his wife" Ken said with a smile.
"You don't talk recklessly, Dawn can't do that!" snapped Dika.
"Maybe, or not possible but that's the reality. Accept it or not accept, Aya's future is me, not you." said Ken still in a relaxed tone.
"Don't dream too high, it will be very painful if reality does not match your dreams" said Dika while squinting his eyes.
"Is that so?"
"Senja is pregnant, Aunt Rani would not agree if her granddaughter had a stepfather like you. Because I also know how bad your family relationship is. But, Aunt Rani will be very supportive, if I am the stepfather, because I am the friend of her child. And just so you know, Dusk still loves Dawn very much. He will listen to what his father-in-law has to say. You have absolutely no chance!" dika said with a triumphant smile.
Ken widened his smile even more, then he got up from his seat, and stepped closer to Dika.
"Your theory is very reasonable, but what if it turns out that the one conceived by Dusk is my son. Do you have any answers?" ken whispered right in Dika's ear.
"You think I'll believe your dirty tricks. I'm not that stupid!" furious Dika.
"I'm not forcing you to believe, because it's not important to me. You see, if the child is born, he will bear the name Antony, not Mahardika." said Ken with a slanted smile.
Dika's body seemed to freeze right then and there. Dusk pregnant Ken's son, how could it be like this? What the hell is going on?
"This is the coffee" said Dusk who suddenly stood behind them.
Inevitably, Ken and Dika immediately stopped the conversation.
