The Sanctity of Tarnished Love

The Sanctity of Tarnished Love
The dawn arrived at the apartment

The sun is still showing its power in high space. The scorching rays illuminate the entire city of Surabaya. The hour hand was right at 12:00 p.m., Dawn had just set foot in the courtyard of the apartment.

Dawn commented on the smile on her lips, after a long journey she finally arrived at her residence. He deliberately went home early in the morning, so that he could quickly meet the wife who had not met each other for a week.

Dawn began to set its feet toward his apartment, and his heart thumped a little, this time he would again tell lies to his wife. A few minutes later, Dawn arrived at the door. He made up his heart first, before he opened the door to his apartment.

But Fajar had not yet opened his door, he was suddenly startled by the sound of footsteps walking towards him. Spontaneous Dawn immediately turned her head, and her eyes squinted at seeing who was coming, she was Dika.

"Have you come home?" dika asked as she stopped her steps, she stood right beside Dawn.

Dawn did not immediately answer, there was a sense of heat that spread in him. He knew who Dika was, once the man loved Dusk, but always rejected him. Now what's he coming here for?

Dawn stared fixedly at Dika, the man was carrying two plastic bags that had no idea what they contained.

"Borch!" call Dika, for Dawn is still silent without a word.

"Ehm.sorry. Where are you going?" ask Fajar while looking at Dika sharply.

"Don't tell me you're going to see Dusk, don't care if you're my friend, or not. The twilight is mine!" the word dawn in his heart.

"I want to come here, I just bought food for Dusk." replied Dika while showing her the plastic bag she was carrying.

"For Dusk? Why would you do that? I wasn't at the apartment, and you went to see him. What do you mean Dik!" snapped Dawn. Suddenly jealousy began to take hold of his heart.

"Why are you suddenly emotional? What's wrong if I help her, she's alone, and ignored by her husband. I couldn't bear to see the woman I knew having a hard time" Dika said casually.

"Dump that food, and never meet Dusk!" snapping Dawn while gripping the collar of Dika's shirt.

Dika staggered, and his body was pushed back to hit the wall.

"Remove all your feelings for Dusk, she's my wife, she's already mine!" the word Dawn was right in front of Dika's face.

"We're friends, why are you so rude? Have you lost your confidence, so afraid that I will take Dusk from you. If you love each other, you shouldn't be afraid of Jar." said Dika with a big smile, as if he was underestimating Dawn.

"We love each other, and I don't like you coming to see him. She's my wife, I deserve her life. Get the fuck out of here!" snapping Dawn while glaring sharply, he released his grip with a single loud bang.

"I know she's your wife, but I don't know what kind of husband you are. You left him alone. You ignored him, and left him in pain alone." said Dika as she squinted her eyes.

"Ap..what do you mean? What happened to her?" ask Dawn in panic.

"Truly a dream husband, you don't even know what happened to your own wife. What a pity, a woman as good as Dusk must suffer, for loving an asshole like you!" said Dika while looking at Dawn sharply. Then he opened the door, and sauntered in leaving Dawn alone.

Dawn rubbed her face violently, and without much word she immediately walked into her apartment. He sped up his steps, and rushed towards his room. Dawn was stunned as it arrived at the doorway. Dusk was lying on the bed with his body covered in a thick blanket. And next to him was Alvin who was sitting in a chair.

"So there was Alvin too, I misunderstood, I thought it was only Dika who came here" Fajar said in his heart.

Fajar had not yet stepped in, suddenly Alvin had already approached him.

"You're home yet?" alvin asked quietly, but his tone sounded flat, and his eyes looked sharp.

"I just arrived." replied Dawn.

"Just put it on the table, he just went to bed!" alvin said without taking his eyes off.

"Well." answered Dika.

"Come with me!" alvin said as he drew Dawn's hand, and took her away.

"Where's Vin? I must see Dusk." said Fajar, but Alvin ignored him.

Dika stared at their departure while smiling bitterly.

"I love her, but she prefers you. And now that you look like you're ignoring her, I'm honestly very disappointed in you." said Dika, looking down.

Then he stepped in, and put his tray on the table. Then he turned his head, looking at the sleeping Dusk. Her face looks natural without makeup polish. If only Dusk could see his true love, and would accept it. He will now be the happiest man.

***

Alvin let go of Dawn's hand as they arrived in the living room. He looked up, and looked at Dawn with nanar. He wanted to land a few punches in the face of Dawn, but he realized that all problems could not be solved by violence.

"Compose the Twilight, if you can't love it! I'm still capable enough to live it!" alvin was full of emotion.

Dawn flinched, again the word divorce, a word he hated so much. Subconsciously Fajar clenched his hands, and his breath began to hunt. He was very angry to hear the word divorce. As bad as he is, yet he loves Dusk very much. And now that the woman was already his wife, Dawn would never let go.

"What do you mean Vin? I love Dusk, I will never divorce him!" fajar answered while looking at Alvin sharply. The word divorce that Alvin threw, successfully made his emotions ignited.

"Love? What kind of love are you talking about! You left Dusk alone, he had a fever, he was in pain without anyone accompanying him. Where you've been this week, you haven't given it at all! Tell me if you're still in touch with Adara!" shout Alvin.

"Shut up! I have absolutely no relationship with Adara, we're separated, and you know that too. I went to Singapore, on business. I didn't call Dusk, because I was very busy there. I quickly finished my work, to be able to go home soon." replied Fajar in a high tone. Hearing Adara's name, his emotions grew louder.

"If you're only there on business, why don't you take Dusk? Two days after you got married, you also went there right, you left Dusk alone. Tell me what you're really doing there?" snapped Alvin while clenching his hands. His chest seemed to rise and fall withholding emotions.

"Freely I invited him, there I was very busy, I would not be able to accompany him." replied Fajar.

"Just keep looking for excuses, you're a real jerk!" furious Alvin.

"I don't know what's on your mind, Vin, why you think of me that way. I love Dusk, and I've married him, is that not enough to be proof that I feel sincere to him!"

"The way you treat Dusk, it doesn't look like you love him. It just looks like you're just making it a runaway!" snapped Alvin.

"Shut your mouth Vin! I'm an adult, I already know what's good for my family. Whatever I do is for her happiness. You are indeed her brother, but she and I are married, you have no right to interfere in our affairs anymore" Fajar said softly, but sounded very firm.

"The one thing I regret the most is allowing you to marry my sister. Listen carefully to Dawn, no matter if you are her husband. If you can't make her happy, I'll take her back. Even though I'm poor, but I still have a thousand ways to make her happy!" alvin said right in front of Dawn's face.

"Since childhood our parents were gone, and I fought against the rigors of the world for her happiness. If you still had a heart, you wouldn't have shackled him in a wound. Marriage is sacred, do not make it a painful bond. Happy if you love him. And let her go, if your love is only half-and-half!" alvin continued as his hand touched Dawn's chest, and slightly pushed it.

The dawn staggered back with lips still tightly clenched. As if he had run out of words, and could no longer answer Alvin's words.

Seriate....
