The Little Doomsday of My Heart

The Little Doomsday of My Heart
Pandemics

"Why don't you join KKN too ? you should also come and just like those who definitely want to calm down looking for other activities" said Malika.

"It's not that easy. To join KKN I have to collect money with extra because the cost is not small" replied Kaffa.

They seemed to be chatting on the perpus. Since Alya and Abira left her, Kaffa became lonely and the hardships he faced turned out he could not survive on his own. Fortunately there was Malika who was willing to be there for him and help him. After delivering Alya's departure, Malika did tell Anggun and Nisa to go home first because there was other business. But he found Kaffa.

It has been almost a month KKN walking. Neither Alya nor Abira, they both seemed happy to enjoy the college program. Mixing life with people in the corners makes them learn many things.

Alya who was there almost every day felt the longing for the village where she was born and raised. The mother of the kades who lent the house for their stay was already considered her like her own mother. Slowly, Alya's joy began to return. Even when the pain had a slight relapse, he began to be able to control himself. Kaffa may still be stewed in his heart, but the kindness of the people there resuscitated him. That there are still many people around him who care about him, not just Kaffa.

Alya also followed the mass ruqiah held by the elders there. Unexpectedly Alya's body reacted so quickly. Alya who rebelled out of control overwhelmed the people. Plus the fresh blood coming out of his nose and mouth made people even more worried and compassionate to him. They realize that there is a burden on Alya.

Realizing that Alya did not stop crying so much. He realized that he was far from his Lord. Not infrequently Alya blames his God for all the events that happened to him. Pesantren graduates actually do not make their faith solid, even very easy to collapse.

Alya immediately remembered her parents. He knew all this time that he had committed many sins to them. Lying to them even enslaves them only to continue with Kaffa.

2 months passed.. KKN program completed. Alya returned to the city and attended college as usual. This time Alya is determined to focus on completing her education which is only 1 year away. Alya wants to graduate on time so that her parents do not continue to work hard to finance her college. Alya wants to graduate quickly and work to repay all their services.

But the sad news hit Indonesia, even the world. A virus that spreads so quickly scares people because their health is threatened.

Coronavirus disease (COVID-19), an infectious disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Although some people who contract COVID-19 who experience mild symptoms will recover without undergoing special treatment. However, some people who experience serious symptoms will experience severe pain and need medical help.

The virus can spread from the mouth or nose of an infected person through tiny fluid particles when the person coughs, sneezes, speaks, sings, or breathes. These particles can be larger droplets from the respiratory tract to smaller aerosols.

Anyone can catch it while breathing air containing the virus if they are near a person who is already infected with COVID-19. Anyone can also be infected if they touch their eyes, nose, or mouth after touching a contaminated surface. Moreover, the virus is easier to spread in the room and in crowded places.

That is why this virus spreads so quickly, because the media is so close to everyday human activities. The number of spread that every day is increasing, even there are already dead, making many countries become worried.

Therefore the government decided to do a lock down that requires all individuals to do activities from home only. In an effort to prevent its spread. Many schools, companies and all lines close and entertain their activities. Including the university where Alya studied. Requires all students to study online.

Knowing that, Alya was confused. Plus many regional children who take advantage of the opportunity to go home. Especially when they get the info that many access roads will be closed. Alya gasped when she learned that sea access to her village would also be closed in a few days. Without a second thought Alya also returned to his village. He was really worried about his parents. I don't know how long this pandemic will last. In the mind Alya hopes with his return to make him become calmer and completely forget all the pain of his heart.

Just like Alya, Nisa and Fara also come back to their village. But Anggun still have to be in the city because he has already paid the full cost of 1 year. Graceful wants to spend her rent time first which is only 2 months away. Anggun hopes that things quickly recover and does not require him to go home because of the fairly expensive cost.

So is Malika, I don't know what made her to settle in the city. But Malika reasoned that in her village is very difficult to get a signal and will be very troublesome when online college later.

They all seem to be trying to understand each other.

After Alya, Malika and Anggun live their lives in their respective boredom alone.

"Mom.. Alya came to the rice field because the signal suddenly disappeared"

"Yowes hayo" replied Alya's mother.

"Come on"

Unlike in cities that do restrictions strictly. The village where Alya lives has not been able to do that reminding the majority of them are farmers not civil servants. They can only eat if they do their job. Their work cannot be done at home online. They had to bet their lives to support their families.

Actually behind this very worrying pandemic, making Alya even more grateful to take his lesson. Alya can stay with her parents again by staying in college. Returning to live with them makes Alya more and more improved with all her busy activities.

In town...

"What's up ? there seems to be something you're thinking about" Kaffa asked.

"I was just thinking about how I could get home. Things don't get better. Another week, my rent runs out and I have to go home" Anggun explained.

"Keep what's the problem ? it's not that you should be happy to be able to go home" Kaffa asked in surprise.

"Yes but no one can pick me up, my place is totally locked down. My father would never allow me to go home alone" Anggun replied in a daze.

"Let me deliver you"

Hearing the words of Kaffa made Anggun's head rise to look at Kaffa's face with a difficult view to interpret.

"What did you say ?" tanya Anggun made sure what he had heard was true.

"I'm willing to take you home" Kaffa repeated.

"You're serious ? you know I'm different on my own. I am different from you, not a village of one city that can be reached in 2 or 3 hours." Anggun explained again trying to confirm the word Kaffa.

"i'm serious. Because it is far away. I want refreshing. The city is lock down but the village where you live is not it ? I know your place has a lot of natural beauty" replied Kaffa assured.
