Kidney Transplant

An atmosphere of sadness was still felt from the hospital hallway in front of the ICU room. No conversation was heard from the few people who were there.

The sadness of each face was enough to explain how their hearts were at that moment.

Shortly thereafter the Doctor and the nurse came out of Andi's room. Just by looking at the expression of the Doctor, they all knew that something bad was going on.

After a long wait, Adit came out of a room and approached Dini.

"Where's sis? where's mama Siska?" ask Dini.

All that beautiful togetherness made Dini feel more pain in her heart.

Dimas immediately changed his clothes and grabbed his car keys and immediately headed to hospital X. Butub took 4 hours to get there.

Along the way he can only pray if Andi is fine. Luckily the state of the highway at that time was not too crowded, making Dimas could accelerate his journey to get to hospital X.

After arriving at hospital X, Dimas immediately asked for Andi's whereabouts.

"The patient on behalf of Andi Putra Prayoga is undergoing kidney transplant surgery in XX operating room."

After asking for Andi's whereabouts, Dimaspun immediately brought his footsteps towards the hallway which already felt an aura of sadness.

There he saw Adit, Dini, Andi's mother and father. What surprised him a little was Dini who was leaning her head on Adit's shoulder and Adit's hand holding Dini.

"Om, aunt, how's Andi doing?" ask Dimas to Andi's mother and father.

"The operation is not finished yet, pray that Andi can pass all this Dimas," replied Andi's mother.

"Definitely aunty, I'm sure Andi can definitely get through all this" Dimas replied.

Early who noticed Dimas' arrival immediately pulled his hand from Adit's grasp and stood up.

Dimas then approached Dini and hugged her tightly.

After a long wait, the doctor came out of the operating room and explained Andi's condition.

"The transplant went well, but for some time to come we still have to monitor intensely the state of the patient with his new kidney" explained the Doctor.

"Then how is my mom Doc?" ask Adit.

"Everything is fine, donors still have to take care to make sure there are no adverse effects due to transplants performed" replied the Doctor.

"Okay Doc, thank you."

Finally everyone who was there was able to breathe a little sigh of relief because the operation was successful.

But on the other hand, Dimas still did not understand the situation that was happening there. How could the Andi and Adit families gather there.

"the accident didn't involve Adit's family, why were Adit and his mother here? why would Adit's mother give him his kidney for Andi?" batin Dimas asked.

The night was getting late, time just passed.

"Aren't you back at the apartment?" ask Dimas Early.

Dini just nodded then waved her hand at Dimas who was about to leave his house.

Dini then told her mother what happened to Andi.
