The End of the Story

Guilt

The sky was approaching the afternoon sky. Dini and Andi sat under a tree on a hill. Andi still let Dini be quiet, he did not ask Dini anything.

"Ndi, actually there is something going on in the office" said Dini.

"Something good or something bad?" reply Andi asked.

"Two" replied Dini.

"You can tell me everything's the same!"

Dini took a deep breath and began her story. He tells Andi how Adit's attitude changes and it makes a nasty rumour about him in the office.

"And you're cuddled?" ask Andi.

"I don't want to make trouble Ndi, you know how angry Mr. Adit is, I don't want to see Mr. Adit angry again," replied Dini.

"But what they're doing is wrong Din, they're talking to you without them knowing the truth."

"Yes, my early beginnings are ordinary, but long ago they were outrageous too, but what can I do? fight them? where might be Ndi!"

"You don't have to fight them, Din, but show them that what they think of you isn't real."

"From the beginning they did not like me Ndi, I who did not have any experience what could arrive to be their CEO's personal assistant, it was enough to make them think badly of me."

"Din.." call Andi by looking ahead.

"What the hell is it, you see a ghost, you......"

Dini stopped her speech as she followed Andi's gaze. He saw someone he missed so much standing in front of the car. Someone he really wanted to hug, someone who was always in his heart.

"don't look here, please don't look, don't look" said Dini in his heart.

He knew his defense would collapse once he saw the man he loved. Although his eyes focused on Dimas, Dini hoped that Dimas would not bring his eyes to Dini.

But the hope was not accepted, Dimas put his phone in his pocket and turned to Dini and Andi stood up.

At once his heart beat so fast he saw the girl he loved was not far from him. He wanted to run and hug her, but a covenant seemed to bind him and put a boundary between himself and the girl he so longed for.

Dini was still in her place, letting her eyes look at the man before her. A smile seemed beautifully lined on the lips of the man she missed. He knew there was a bitterness from the sweet smile he saw. He could feel how fate had suffocated the two of them without giving them a gap to breathe.

Dini walked slowly while still looking into Dimas's eyes. His heart was pounding, he wanted to run immediately, yet......

"Din!" call Mom from the front of the house.

Dini turned her head quickly towards the mother, as did Dimas.

Dini then brought her gaze towards Dimas and was reciprocated with a smile and a nod of the head by him.

With a heavy heart Dini returned Dimas' smile and ran towards her house. He immediately went into the house and locked himself in the room.

Dimas was still standing in his place waiting for Andi.

"Where from?" ask Dimas to Andi.

"Obviously, what are you doing here?"

"There's something I want to see'in."

Andi then took Dimas in and sat in his living room.

"I think it's important, what's wrong?" ask Andi.

"Gue has made a deal with papa Ndi, you can be angry with me, I can only say sorry."

"What the hell is Dim? what deal?"

"Papa promised not to interfere about my problems as early as now, but on condition, I have to go into the company after my problems are finished," explained Dimas.

"Lo know this will happen Dim, you don't want to continue your bokap lo business!"

"Gue know, but not so fast Ndi, I want to run our business together until success first."

"And now you accept the terms of bokap lo for Dini?"

Dimas nodded slowly.

"Aren't you going to make the same decision?"

"For any of you I will do Ndi, so I'm sorry if my decision makes you angry or disappointed with me."

Andi took a deep breath and exhaled slowly.

"It's okay Dim, I'm sure this is the best for everyone" Andi said.

"Lo's not mad at me?"

Andi shakes.

"There's no reason for me to be angry at you" Andi replied.

"Thanks Ndi, I hope after I get out of the home store you can bring our home store more successful again," said Dimas who only replied with a nod of Andi's head.

After discussing the intent of his arrival, Dimas immediately said goodbye.

"So he's good Ndi" Dimas said before leaving Andi's house.

"Surely," Andi replied.

Dimas then got into his car and left Andi's house.

Elsewhere, Adit parked his car in the yard of his mother's house. He went in and looked for the whereabouts of his mother.

"Where's mama?" adit asked one of his mother's guards.

"Mother in my backyard, again do not want to be disturbed he said."

"Malem malem gini? why is it allowed to mbak?"

"Sorry to you."

Adit then ran to the backyard and saw the mother who was painting.

Adit then walked slowly towards the mother. He crouched down, holding the shoulders and hands of the mother who was still holding the brush.

A clear thread dripped down Adit's hand that was holding his mother's hand.

Adit wiped the tears of the woman he loved. His heart felt sore to see those two eyes cry.

"Ma, Adit is here" Adit said very slowly.

Mama Adit just kept quiet and still stared at the painting in front of her. Tears were still dripping nonstop as if showing how much pain the wound was embedded in his heart.

"Ma," called Adit quietly with his mother's hand.

There is still no reply, Adit then took the brush from the grasp of the mother.

"We enter yes ma, the wind is not good for the health of the mother," said Adit.

"Go!" the mother said without looking at Adit.

"Adit's gonna go after mama gets in the room, okay?"

"Mama wants to be alone Dit," said Mama Adit.

Adit sat on the floor next to his mother's chair. He let his mother wash her grief through tears. For more than an hour the sound of the mother's cry cut her heart deeply.

After being satisfied crying, Adit's mother took the painting and took it to a secret room in her house.

A room where the mother kept many paintings of her own works.

"Sir, please clean your mama's painting!" pinta Adit on one of her mother's guards.

"Good on."

Adit followed his mother into the room. Adit took a bottle containing anti-depressant drugs that are often consumed by the mother.

"Mama hasn't taken any medicine, has she?" asked Adit while giving one grain of medicine and a glass of water to the mother.

Mama Adit then took the medicine and immediately fell asleep. After making sure his mother slept well, Adit immediately came out of his mother's room.

"Sir, make sure you take the medicine according to the dose I described yes, do not let the incident that once repeated again!"

"Well, I'll take good care of you."

"Thank you mbak, I go home first, if there's anything, let me know!"

"Good on."

Adit then left his mother's house. He wanted to accompany his mother, but there were many reasons that forced him to stay away from his mother.

The morning greeted the sun. Early in the morning Adit came to the mother's house before leaving for the office.

"Sleep mama good?" ask Adit between their breakfasts.

"Your voice" replied Mama Adit briefly.

When Mama Adit stopped eating, she put her spoon on the plate.

"Honey," call Adit's mom to Adit.

"Yes ma, why?"

"Did your mommy do it again?" ask mama Adit.

"No," Adit replied by shaking his head with a smile to calm the mother.

"But the mama's painting increased by one Dit, what's my mama's semalem......"

"Ma, no matter what happens, mama just paints continue to take medicine, sleep," said Adit with his mother's hand.

"What is your semalem here?"

"Sorry ma, Adit is very busy so do not stop here," said Adit lying.

Mama Adit nodded her head and finished her breakfast.

At first Adit was angry about it. But the father explained everything very well, making Adit able to understand the state of the mother.

To keep Adit and his wife well, Adit asks Adit to stay separate from his mother. Adit can only stay with his mother after Adit can heal the mental illness of his mother and Adit accepts his father's request.

Now, Adit knows what can heal his mother and he is trying to find her.

Somewhere else. I was on the bus to go to the office. He left alone without Andi who drove him as usual.

As usual, he always greeted the guards and receptionists on duty.

"Hi Ca," said Dini to Ica or Aca, he did not know because he could not distinguish the two.

Aca and Ica immediately moved away and tidied up their messy hair as it grabbed each other.

"Sorry sir" said Dini, Ica and Aca at the same time.

"Once again I see you're late, I won't hesitate to give you a warning letter!" adit said by pointing in the direction of Dini and then passed away just like that.

"This is because of you guys," said Dini and immediately ran into his room.

His intention to tell Ica and Aca about the untrue gossip was forced to cancel due to a minor altercation between the identical twins.
